I hate sharpening knives... did I mention that I hate sharpening knives? Because, I hate sharpening knives! Now, let's talk about this amazing tool! I have labored many hours over wet stones sharpening kitchen knives, pocket knives, etc. It's not my favorite activity. And, the cost of this kit made me hesitate for more than a year. Which I now regret.. After using an especially dull steak knife, I decided to give it a try. I mean, the sharpest thing we had in the house at that point was a butter knife. So... I bought it. In the first 10 minutes of use, I must have said, 'I love this thing' at least two dozen times. Within an hour I had sharpened every knife in the house to a razor edge. It was amazing! The kit comes with a set of belts, but I would recommend buying a second set as well. Medium lasted for about 12 knives. Coarse will get you down to an agreeable surface pretty quick. Fine does a great job at polishing the blade. Strop was neat but I really didn't need it.

Well, if you are using the Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener Ken Onion Edition on a regular edition, you will need extra belts. These are meant especially for it so that's it... Do they work? Of course they do...

However, I'd still go ahead and order them when you order the sharpener...I got the leather stropping belt w/ compound, too. I use mine constantly. It's even small enough to be carried with you in the car or your bag.

Bought this for my husband for Father's Day. So I don't use it, but he loves it. All my expensive knives are sharp. And my cheap scissors are like new even better.

Time to replace my original belts... With a little practice you can consistently get your hunting knives and kitchen knives shaving sharp. Just watch the tips of your knives and follow directions in videos for use.

I love Work Sharp products - it's just that simple. Here is an American company that makes great products and backs them up with the best customer service I have ever encountered - bar none. In my retirement, I cook six meals a week for 40 to 45 men. I have learned the value of sharp knives, cleavers, and kitchen and poultry shears. Work Sharp products make it easy to maintain the edge necessary for all the slicing, dicing, mincing that my job requires, Work Sharp products are durable, easy to use, and of professional quality at an affordable cost. Highly recommended!

Made right, and is the best replacement belt for your Worksharp sharpener. I tried a few others, and non of the others compares to these belts.

This product fits exactly as advertised on my Ken Onion edtion Word Sharp knife sharpener. They do what they are advertised to do and provide me with a strong, razor's edge on all my kitchen knives. I'd recommend these belts to anyone who owns this sharpener and I strongly recommend the Work Sharp Ken Onion edition knife and blade sharpener to anyone who wants to keep their knives in tip to tang sharpness.

This machine is everything it is represented to be. I have many different sharpening systems that were acquired over the past many years. This one is head and shoulders above them all. From my Benchmade tactical folders, a Cold Steel San Mai SRK, to my kitchen knives, all are now razor sharp. Bravo Work Sharp!

The belts are long-lasting. Make sure you get the right belts for your knife sharpener, as I have read on other posts that the Ken Onion belts may not work on the other Work Sharp knife sharpeners.
