I received my car cache and unfortunately it was torn. I sent it back immediately without looking at the literature it came with. It appeared smaller than expected. I received and email (via amazon) after returning the product from the inventor (Catherine Seifert). She was genuinely looking for feedback on the reason for return. The product was replaced, and I watched the video on installation of the product. At first, it appeared small due to a pocket which can easily be mistaken for the area where a purse can be placed. I carry larger bags, and thought it would not fit. The pocket is an addition to the car cache, and after proper installation, found it useful for smaller non-crushable items such as tissues, napkins etc. As for the original purpose of the car cache , it works extremely well! I no longer have my huge bag at my feet when I am a passenger in my car, and when I am driving, everything is there for me instead of reaching around the back seat. It does not take up any space, and it works very well, attached to headrests. It does not rub on the interior, and as stated before, my bag is oversize and usually pretty heavy. Wonderful invention, outstanding customer service! Thank you Catherine, for reaching out to me! I will buy another!

Fantastic invention!

I love this car cache! It’s a great solution to a common problem. My purse was either in the back or on the dirty floor between my seat and gas pedal (not safe). Now my purse stays clean, is easy to reach, and out of the way. Just make sure you watch the video, I thought I wouldn’t need to and the straps were too long. I texted the maker and was promptly and courteously answered. Once I hooked it to the proper headrest post, it worked perfectly! This is like a little hammock for your purse. You won’t regret your purchase! I only wish I had thought of this solution.

Great solution to a purse on the floor.

My car is not suitable to put my bag on the back seat, and nobody wants their bag on the floor, especially on the winter! This device is amazing! Took a couple minutes to install. My drivers seat has a cover, but I just cut a small hole in it to feed the strap to the headrest pole. I tied a knot in the strap holding the device to the console loud and it looks like it's gonna stay there well. I have a larger dome bag, and it sits in there nicely at the perfect angle to remain reasonably accessible.

Handy purse holder.

I ordered this item to hold my purse since the bin on my car is too small to hold my purse. The "Car Cache" also is a barrier to keep my dogs from jumping into the front seat. That is a bonus I didn't expect and keeps them from pushing the buttons on the dash and changing the settings.

MUST HAVE!

I have the original version(w/o pocket) it has like 4 years and still like new. I switch to this one because of the pocket. if you use small handbag, crossbody like me, it will fit on the pocket, I though it would be really small by reading the reviews but is ok, you can't expect a large pocket if the thing isn't that big, also the fit will depend on how you adjust the cord on the console. super easy to install :) bought 4 of these for each car, is a must have and GREAT QUALITY!

Great product love it love it love it!

This was the best purchase I have made for myself! It works extremely well exactly how the description described which is a rarity these days. It was very easy to install and just wonderful to have I cannot say enough about this product. I definitely recommend this to anyone. I believe men can benefit from this as well as women . I spend a lot of time in my car with my children running back-and-forth doing the mommy thing. This little gadget has made my life so much easier. Thank you so much Catherine for coming up with this wonderful idea. I took a few photos to show you. I actually have the pocket facing me so that way I can put my iPad in it and lay my pocketbook in front.

I just received this item today and spent two minutes putting it in my car. I already love it! The mesh quality was also much nicer than I expected. I have a passenger most of the time and was trying to put my purse on the console in a Prius. It was always falling off or my passenger held it. I don't like to put it in the back seat. This product holds it securely just behind the console and I am still able to use the console. I believe this product would hold any size purse. All you have to do is loosen the straps to make the pouch bigger/looser. Where has this been all my life?! My Mom took one look at mine and ordered one immediately. I'm sure you need one too!

That's the last time I'll clean up my dumped over purse!

This purchase was precipitated by a trip down a country road, a rogue deer, and a purse well past its time to be cleaned out. I'm pretty sure you know where this is going, but for those of you who haven't jumped ahead in the story to the anticipated conclusion, here we go. My purse perched quietly on the passenger seat of my vehicle, minding its own business, as we finished out the long week and looked forward to arriving home. Apparently, the deer had similar ideas and a path that crossed ours. With little effort to stop on its own, the deer bounded gracefully through the field, onto the shoulder, and across the double yellow line. Luckily for that deer, it chose to cross in front of a driver who pays attention to what's going on around her. Quick like a ninja I yanked my foot off the gas pedal, slammed it down on the brake, and locked eyes with the wide-eyed Bambi as it managed to miss trading coverings with my vehicle. My purse, however, was not paying as much attention as I and found itself bottom side up and empty. All of its former detritus lay across the floorboard, scattered in a sort of Pollock-like painting, where it would stay until after I arrived home. The above scenario was not as quiet or as lovely as described, which brought me to the internet in search of a device to keep this from happening again. Enter, Car Cache. Now, this contraption looks like it might not do the trick but I am here to tell you, that deer (I'm sure it was the same one) and I reenacted our less-than-enjoyable moment a couple days ago with wildly different outcomes. Not for the deer... she's lived to cross in front of me another day. My purse, though, did not take a tumble or lose its innards. It sat safely in its Cache, with its miscellaneous flotsam securely inside. Something else you need to know about my purse: I carry everything shy of the kitchen sink in it, and it weighs about as much as a baby elephant. It really didn't move when the brakes were forcefully applied. If that's not a good enough recommendation, I got nothin. I would give this Car Cache more than five stars if that were an option.

Easy to install! Saves time! Saves space! SUPER SECURE!

This thing a amazing! As the site says make sure you have the right middle section-the kind that comes down and latches closed. It works perfectly! And it’s so handy. I never have to worry about my purse dumping over. Plus it keeps my bag back a bit so it’s not in the way of the actual arm rest...You don’t feel crowded & it’s super secure! Even with my big heavy bag!!

So easy to install!

I like this a lot. It's been bugging me for a long time that there is really no where for my purse when my kids are in the vehicle, so I saw this, hesitated for a few moments because it looks like it should cost a little less, but then I bought it anyway. It took under 1 minute to install, and it works great! I'm very happy with the simple design, and it solves the problem so my purse has a place and isn't falling on the floor anymore, like when I used to just put it on top of the console. All you do to install is close the front loop into the centre console. It's adjustable too so you can make sure it fits right. If you open the console while your purse is in it, you just have to make sure the clasp is out of the way before you can close it again. (Or take your purse out so there is no weight on it.) Not an issue for me as I don't open it that often. I was also happy that it came with carabiners to hook into the seat headrest posts. So easy! If you want an easy convenient place to put your purse then get this. You will be happy you did.
