Absolute Necessity

When I'm at home and cutting up my one year old's food, I usually use the scissors from the knife block. Obviously, they are way too large/dangerous to carry around in a diaper bag, so I was ecstatic when I found these! They are the perfect compact size for on the go, and have a protective case for the blade of the scissor. They've held up great with both hand washing and throwing in the dishwasher. I also love that it comes in a 2 pack! I recommend these to all of my friends with little ones.

Excellent Scissors For Kids' Food

These scissors are nice and sharp and a great size for cutting up my kid's food. I love that it comes with two, one for home and one for when we are out and about. The cover is also a nice touch, so that I don't have to wrap it in something after using it at a restaurant. I haven't really used the yellow cutting aid, but it's nice that it's available for people who need it. The only complaint I have is that stuff can collect in the yellow part because of the little nooks and crannies. I didn't realize it until one of my scissors got some funk there. Otherwise, this is a great product and I have had no issues with rust.

Scissors to cut up food

Who's got time to sit there and meticulously cut up food with knives, plus knives are dangerous when your little ones are grabbing everything. Finally caved and bought some scissors and it is life changing! From cutting noods, to egg, to other large pieces of food. If your toddler is like mine, she will shove everything into her mouth and gag... this prevents that from happening!

Im so happy i purchased this product

Im so happy i purchased this product. I was worried that they may not cut through food as intended but they work great. I bought these so that I could travel with them in my diaper bag to cut up my toddlers food when we are out. I always thought when we eat out i wish i had my kitchen scissors and now this little ones are perfect to just keep in bag pull out at restaurant makes life so much easier

Love these. To avoid the rusting issue with stainless steel items I dry them well before storing. If moisture sits on them (dirty or clean) they can rust. These go in the dishwasher open, when I take them out they are dry so I can put them back in the drawer. It is also important to wash after use. I keep a pair or two in my diaper bag and when I come home after a use I put them in the next dishwashing cycle. Taking these maintenance measures my scissors have lasted about 2 years each with daily use. I'm buying probably my 7th set now (keep some with grandparents, forget them at restaurants, broken)

Love these things, especially helpful with messy foods. Very convenient for restaurants. LOVE that it came with two pairs, one for the kitchen and one for the diaper bag. VERY sharp, so watch your fingers! And definitely keep out of the reach of the kiddos. I've used these for everything for my toddler...pizza, chicken fingers, fruit, veggies. And I just stick them in the dishwasher! Game changer.

Great scissors for even when baby starts purees

I ordered these scissors well after my LO started on purees and wish i had ordered them sooner. I was incredibly undecided on which one to buy since I didn't want to waste money on anything cheap and would break soon after we use it. We have been using these scissors for about two months now to cut up meat and fruit into bite size pieces for the LO to eat with fingers or to purée. Pros: - stainless steel, has not rusted so far. We do wash after every feeding and dry in the dish rack open so the water doesn't sit in the connecting areas. - has a cover - comes in a set of two so you can leave one at home and the other in your travel diaper bag - has yellow tension lever to help cut Cons: none that comes to mind with how we use it. Would buy again and wish I bought it sooner.

I love this product

I love this product! I was using a different baby food cutter for couple months- it was great but broken in just few weeks. Therefore, I was looking for a easy to use and durable baby food cutter and I found this product, what is a great find for me. I saw some reviews about quality issue- which I don't have any issue and I have been using for months now. It's very easy to use, easy to carry in the diaper bag or my purse when we dine out. It has a cover which keep the scissors clean and bag clean. It also has a little stopper things in the middle which help cutting food much easier and faster- but you don't have to use it if you don't like it. I'm very pleased with this purchase and recommend this strongly to moms.

5 Stars All The Way!!

Awesome!! I didn't think anything could top my kitchen shears and just got these scissors in a pinch before flying the friendly skies- but they are SO perfect that I use them all the time at home now too! They are sharp, tiny, and very travel-friendly! Went through TSA without any problems. I hand wash them and they still look brand new. Love the protective sheath for the blades and also appreciate how tiny I can cut things with these guys. I will be buying another set- love them!

Can't live without these!

I've bought several sets of these over the past 5 years because I keep losing them. I've also bought them for friends and recommend them to all parents. That's how much I love these!! These have been a life saver. I use them at just about every meal. The size is comfortable even though I have big hands. The cover is great because they keep the scissors clean (or they keep my bag clean after I've used them). The tip is rounded for safety purposes which is great because my kids always try to grab them from me. The spring action is super helpful when you're trying to cut up leafy greens or beef/chicken into tiny tiny pieces that are easier to swallow. I've even used these for myself when I'm too lazy to use a knife! They're lightweight and very sharp.
