Best purchase I’ve ever made

This wax is amazing. I just got aligners from Smile Direct Club and after three days, my mouth was in so much pain. I tried filing the aligners and it didn’t not work. I had to take out my bottom set because part of it had made a huge slice into the side of my mouth. This wax was my last ditch effort before I gave up entirely and it is amazing. I just put this on the parts of my aligners that cut into me and I have zero pain. After 1 day, the slice cut into my mouth is gone. I probably use too much wax and think it’s obvious my mouth has bulges from it but no one has noticed at all. Even when I point it out to people they still don’t see it. I have to replace the wax every time I take my aligners out to eat but it’s so easy to put back on that I’m not complaining. I would absolutely recommend this product if you have aligners and I could see how helpful it would be with traditional braces.

Soft!

I just got clear, adult braces that have completely sliced my entire mouth. I tried the GUM brand wax but I didn't like how hard it was. Since my teeth were sore, it really hurt to press on hard, tough wax. I'm SO happy I decided to try this brand. It's much more pliable than stuff you find in the drugstores. Secret...if you put the case in your pocket 5-10 mins before applying. It gets even softer and easier to apply (especially to teeth that are already sensitive to the touch). It's a plus that this wax is not mint flavored like many other brands. I will be buying again!

Great for invisalign to help with the lisp

Buying this was such a good idea. I just got invisalign last week and I've been struggling with the new lisp it gives me. I work in customer service and I have to talk all day so it was quite frustrating having all lisp and sometimes people wouldn't understand me. I bought this wax because of figured if I put some wax in the roof of my mouth to cover the slight gap between the invisalign tray and the roof of my mouth,you "s"s will come out more clear. (When I say "s"s, the air goes up in between the tray and the roof of my mouth instead of going out of my mouth so the noise is deadened). Putting the wax in the gap had worked wonders. I don't have to try so hard to make the "s" noise! So much easier!

Works Wonderfully!

My daughter just got braces, for the second time, and she is in several high school bands. She was very upset because she couldn't play the trumpet without tearing up the inside of her mouth. She decided to try the wax the dentist sent home with her, which worked pretty well. However, she was running out so I bought this brand on Amazon and as soon as she put it on, she was so happy! This one does work very well and she is a very happy customer. She will have these braces on for 2 years, so we will be a continuing customer. Thank you!!!

Good Wax

Bought this stuff when I broke a tooth. I used it to keep debris and hot/cold liquids from hitting the nerve. It was a lifesaver over the days I had to endure the pain until I could get into the dentist. It wasn't too sticky or but held together without leaving random chunks behind. Would do well in braces for that reason. It did have enough stickiness to hold in my tooth without falling out too. I still have a lot left, but the price was fine and i'll keep it just in case.

Rescued from dental office wax

At age 65 I have had to have orthodonture to save 3 loose teeth. The wax provided at the dental office had me nuts. I was skeptical before ordered Orthowax, but I feel "rescued" from the ceaseless attempts to apply wax to protect my mouth from cuts and sores. The 1st piece of Orthwax worked like a dream and continues with each sharp edge -- easy to apply and effective!!

BEST WAX EVER!

I have to wear elastics with my Invisalign braces and the pieces that stick out cut my lips to shreds. The orthodontist gave me a tiny case of wax which wasn’t nearly enough. It is also very hard and not pliable. This wax looks like it’s the same as it’s in the same exact case but it’s so much softer. I’m able to break off a tiny piece and mold it over the sharp pieces. Stays all day! This is a fantastic product and I will keep myself supplied for the next year!

This wax works beautifully

This stuff is amazing. Unlike that sold in drugstores, this was STICKS. I don't wear braces (too old for that!) but have been dealing with dental work which often results in something rubbing my tongue or cheek -- something sharp ---something uneven, etc. Sticking a bit of this wax to the offending area completely covers the problem until I can get to a dentist. It absolutely stays in place. I'll always keep this in the house!

Super helpful with clear aligners!

I had metal braces as a teenager and remember the awful pain of my mouth being cut up. As an adult, I just started with clear aligners to straighten my front teeth and -- once again -- my mouth was being cut up by the sharp edges! I ordered this wax and am thrilled with how much there is! I've used small bits of it daily to provide a buffer between the sharper plastic edges of the aligners and my mouth/gums/tongue. I keep my aligners in for 22 hours a day and this wax sticks to the braces. I take the wax bits off while I am brushing the aligners, then I quickly dry them, make sure the wax is patted dry, as well, then re-adhere. 10/10 recommend for any type of braces wearing!
