I have been an exhibitor in trade shows for about 25 years. This is a very good unit. It has some modern features such as 2 medium sized springs that help to expand the frame when you are opening it. Very easy to assemble. It has a VERY strong and durable container for shipping the unit and yes, you could check it into an airplane. The black fuzzy is a perfect back drop for the images that I had made on Vistaprint. With this unit, plus the $300 in images that I purchased from Vistaprint, I have an entire trade show exhibit for under $750. That is thousands of dollars less than we used to spend before Amazon or Vistaprint existed. As an experienced trade show exhibitor, I highly recommend this product.
