Amazingly effective

I bought this because while my tattoo had healed I had a couple of dry spots that regular lotion just wasn't clearing up. Read some reviews, but this stuff, and boy was I glad. The jar is small, but I've been applying it once or twice a day for a couple of months now and barely dented the surface. I have plenty left for my next tattoo. Con- smells like dinner. My husband makes a dish with rosemary, garlic, thyme l, and olive oil that smells exactly like this rub. Which means when I put it on I start craving that dish. Pro- This stuff works. Flat out. Those dry spots cleared up after only a couple of applications. The colors in my tat are still nice and though the jar be small a little goes a long way with this stuff. Highly Recommend.

This stuff is bananas

I bought this for a tattoo that was taking its sweet time to heal and was very red and painful. The first night I put this on soothed it immediately. The next morning it was so much better and not inflamed like it had been. It has helped this ankle tattoo heal very nicely. I've been using it on older tattoos as well and it makes the skin so supple that it makes the tattoo pop. I've also been using it my hands that touch paper all day and get really dry, it is great for just regular skincare and soaks in to your skin to not leave a greasy film. My hands stay soft even after washing thrm. I burned through the 1oz jar in less than a month and have already purchased more! Huge bonus, it works wonders for the "itchy stage" of a tattoo. This stuff calms the itch right away and keeps it away. It also smells really nice, like rosemary and tea tree.

Wow, what a great product!

Bought this to use for my 8th tattoo. I usually use a different product but wanted to try something new for my newest tattoo to try and avoid color loss. I used this salve a few hours after getting my tattoo. I have been using for two days now and my tattoo looks incredible. The redness is down and minimal scabbing, just in the lettering. Very happy with this product and should I get another tattoo, this will be my go to for healing. Update-at day 10 now and it’s looking really good. I lost very little ink the first day and the shading continues to look great during the peeling stage. I did get a day of the itchiness but it was very mild.

Sweet Sweet Relief

I had a half sleeve tat that was crazy itchy at night while healing. CRAZY as in waking up multiple times every night and not being able to fall back asleep because of the itch. After Googling & asking tattoo artist friends about remedies, I ordered Ora's Tattoo Salve pronto. It works! No more itch! I also used it on a small burn on my wrist and a persistent dry patch on my chin. Effective for both and it did not make me break out. I'm definitely adding this to my natural first aid arsenal. (No one is paying me for this review.)

Tattoos and Piercings

This product did a really good job at helping my tattoo heal. I did feel itchy a lot and I felt like my skin was still getting dry even with repeated applications but overall I would 100% use this in the future and recommend it to anyone. The real reason I’m here to write a review is that I recently decided to start wearing earrings again and I have three piercings in each ear and I had to “re-pierce” some of the holes. I had stopped wearing earrings because my body hates piercings and can’t handle most metals. I had done my best to use surgical steel for my earrings and despite cleaning and proper after care, my piercings were still getting infected. So I decided to use this salve and the infection cleared up within a few days! This stuff is awesome and should be in everyone’s medicine cabinet!

Awesome product!!!

First day using it and I’m immediately in love!!! Very soft and smooth texture so it was an easy application. It right away soothed that new tat healing itch. Absorbs quickly and doesn’t have a greasy feel. The smell is alright but it’s such a light scent it doesn’t bother me at all and you don’t smell it once applied. It is a smaller bottle but you only need a tiny amount per application so it will last for more than one tattoo. I will continue to purchase this product once I run out! I would rate it more than 5 stars if possible

Best Tattoo Salve, Period.

Ora's Amazing Herbal Tattoo Salve continues to be the best product I have ever used to heal tattoos. For years I have been doing tattoos and looking for the best aftercare products. The tattoos are all nothing more than colorful scars. It really does matter how you take care of the tattoo until it heals. Many times you care loose the color if your aftercare is poor or none. I have tried many tried and true products for tattoo aftercare, but many are dependent on the skin type, ink used and diligence of the person taking care of the tattoo. Ora"s Tattoo Salve is all natural. No funny chemicals like most balms. The salve is very potent I have found, in the sense that it promotes healing immediately by hydrating the affected area so that the is no cracking just healing. The salve is so good, I have found that more of the color actually gets locked into the tattoo due to superior healing which means faster healing time. Use the salve in the thinnest layer (a little goes a long way) and you have the best barrier to promote healing. Use this balm not only for tattoo aftercare but for any external area where the skin is having issues with being chapped, wind burned or dry. This is the best product of it's kind. Buy a few jars. I will definitely be purchasing this item from now on exclusively.

Helped my tattoo heal faster!

I am in love with this stuff! I just got my first tattoo last night. He wrapped it and when I got home, I unwrapped it, washed it and applied a good layer of this stuff. This morning, my arm feels so much better. I seriously think that this stuff helps the healing process. I didn’t have any sort of reaction to it either. The fact that it has grape seed oil is awesome because that’s one of the best things you can put on a new tattoo. Great price too! This lil bottle will probably last me a long time! The instructions that come in the box say that you can even use it for sunburn and on your lips which is stellar!

Try this amazing product!

Received Ora’s salve three days after my first tattoo. For the first 3 days, I used unscented Palmers Cocoa butter and then at night I used Aquafor. After I received Ora’s salve, I continued to wash my tattoo 2-3 times a day with Dial Antibacterial soap as recommended and then apply Ora’s. During the healing process, this salve helped with itching and my tattoo peaked at a minimum. A little goes a long way. Three weeks later, my tattoo is looking great and I’m still using Ora’s as a moisturizer on my tattoo. I would definitely buy this product again. Oh and Ora’s sent me a replacement because Prime let it melt. It wasn’t there fault and with my replacement they gave me a sample of one of their peppermint body balms. Will definitely be buying that for winter! Thanks for the great customer service!

The BEST there is!

I waited to give a long-term review after purchasing this item as both my wife and I both had upcoming appointments scheduled for new work. I'm a veteran of 14+ tattoos over the last 18 years or so, so I guess I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to aftercare. In the past I've used mostly Aquaphor for the first 5 days after getting a new tattoo, and then usually going over to Hustle Butter for long term skin care. This time around I got three (yes 3) tats at once - it was 5 1/2 hours of fun - and used Ora's Amazing from day one. The difference really is amazing! Before it took about 8 - 11 days to get past the "itchy, peeling" stage as the skin regenerates after the "abrasion" type injury that tattooing is. This time, in only 4 days my skin has done its "shed" and it has regained its normal look and feel. The usual problem I've experienced with my body literally "spitting out" black ink was gone, and it looks like touch ups won't be need on my new ones. My wife's results were similar on her new tattoo as well. This product performs perfectly and is worth every penny you'll pay for it!!
