The only complaint I have ever heard about the Satin Tower is that it is too hard to open, but that complaint is unfounded. Most people who experience try to open this box by gripping the cover tightly and attempting to pull it straight off the base. This is NOT the proper way to open the Satin Tower. What you should do, is grip the cover firmly but gently and "rock" the cover off of the base by first dislodging the backside (or front side) of the cover from the base and then dislodging the front-side (or backside) of the cover from the base. If you do this, you will not experience any issues. If you are a magic the gathering player, this deck box can store a 100-card, double-seeved, EDH deck with ease, so it has plenty of space. It features a bottom compartment that can store a handful of dice and counters. This deck box simply will not open without someone intending to open it. This is simply the best, low-cost, mass-produced deck box on the market. You should not hesitate if you're in the market.

Best deck box on the market.

The Ultra Pro Satin Tower series is an excellent deck box for all TCG fans alike. It can fit 120+ sleeved cards OR 100+ double sleeved cards and can be thrown against a wall and dropped from a three story building without breaking or causing damage to any of the cards. In addition to holding cards, there is a small compartment, that isn't extremely visible from the pictures, that can hold a plethora of dice and/or tokens that you may need during games that you play. With the price tag hovering around only 10-12 dollars for most colors, there is no reason not to buy this product to protect your investment. I am extremely happy with this product, and at this point, will have bought 5 satin towers upon writing this review (earliest one was from just over a year ago, so you know they are great quality)! Also, these are GREAT budget gifts to ANY TCG player in your life!

Truly an amazing product!

This company has made a lot of quality products over the years. If you play commander in magic the gathering or have any deck that is 100 cards this tower is perfect for you. Its even got enough space to hold your side board or even your tokens. The bottom tray holds a great amount of space for your dice. These towers are the best 100 card double sleeved deck boxes on the market for the price and the quality. You really cant beat these. Other company's charge way more for a really similar deck box. I can't recommend these enough.

Great Commander / EDH Deck Box

I think these are some of the best commander/EDH deck boxes there are. Holds dice (including a 20 side), and enough of them to have your life counter, small counters for other things, and it isn't a problem. I have 20 sided, and various small 6 sided, 12 sided, and 10 sided dice in there and I haven't run out of what I have needed. It also holds 100 sleeved cards without any issue. It is strong, but not to heavy. I have not had any issue with it not staying together, even after opening and closing it multiple times. I really like this box.

Love it! Closes good....almost too good!

I really love the tower and the place for the dice. Only problem I have is opening it up to get the cards out. (I can tell you that you never have to worry about your cards falling out.) The top does stay on.....almost too good and I really need to work at opening it up. I have about 100 cards and there is still room for more (all in sleeves). It is perfect for my needs of traveling and keeping everything together without worry if it falls off the car seat it will open and spill all over the car.

Durable and carries it all

My 13 year old Pokemon loving son bought this, and he absolutely loves it! Much more durable than his prior deck boxes, room for dice, room for 2 decks. It goes to and from school with him daily plus Pokemon League on weekends and still looks in perfect condition. He has offered no negatives on this box other than it being larger than his prior box, but he expected that with all the added features.

Amazing!

This does more than expected! It says it can hold 100 DOUBLE-sleeved cards. What i have is only 60 single-sleeved pokémon cards. It can easily hold about 120 single-sleeved cards which is about 2 full-size decks. The bottom container is big too. Can easily hold a few dice. The box itself is high quality, durable, and has a nice feel. Bought both black and white and they look great.

Boyfriend loves it

Got this for my boyfriend who plays Magic: The Gathering and he loves it. His friends think it's really cool too. Very sturdy. The bottom won't fall out on you (like I feared before buying). Holds a ton of sleeved cards. Satisfied overall.

Great deck box!

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it. You'll really feel like your deck is safe inside here. Sturdy and thick with a soft velvety feel. His favorite part is the bottom compartment where he can keep a good amount of dice. And it doesn't just come apart unexpectedly like I thought it might. Well made. Fits a full 100 card deck with room for your commander and tokens if you want :)

Cheap, practical, efficient, durable, and it looks very elegant.

Satin tower deck boxes are all you want to buy if you've got more than one deck. They are cheap, elegant, practical, resistant to hits and the dice/counters compartment is amazingly useful. It can hold a double sleeved 60 cards deck including sideboard and tokens or a commander deck plus lots of tokens too; not sure if it holds a double sleeved commander deck because i don't have one, but i'm pretty sure it does. The variety of colors makes this deck boxes an aesthetic item to put on a book shelf or any place in line of sight. It is not my choice to store my favourite deck, but it is my choice for the rest of my decks and I recommend it without a doubt.
