Don't let the comparable fool you...

This is meant to be a gift for Christmas so I have not had the opportunity to determine the functionality of the toy. In fact I was in a not to be mentioned store a few days after ordering this toy and found what I thought to be the same toy for 1/3 of the cost, however first impressions can be deceiving. Upon further inspection I discovered the toy I found in the store (although would light up) did not light at the body. It also did not come with a USB enabled rechargeable battery pack. So far very excited about this purchase and will report back if it is not to the quality I anticipate, however judging by other reviews if there are any problems I'm confident customer service will help me. ***update*** What a hit! This remote control car is awesome! Operated nicely out of the box and my daughter loves it!! Definitely recommend! So easy to operate that even my the year old was having fun with it. My friend bought the comparable I had seen in the store and it's junk next to this!

Haktoys has a customer for LIFE!!!

This item was a "Maybe" item for my 2-1/2 year old grandson. I liked it a bit & thought it would be fun for him but, in my opinion, it was a little bit pricey for a small toy. He is my ONLY grandchild though so I went ahead & got it. I bought & ordered many goodies for this little guy this past Christmas. This has been the MOST fun age so far!!! When the little car came, I was still not convinced & seriously considered sending it back because I thought nearly $30 for a little radio controlled car was too much. In the end, time went by, I didn't send it back, so it was wrapped & given to him along with several other toys (including a HUGE radio controlled Monster truck). Wowwwww!!! Imagine "Grammie's" delight when after testing out several of his gifts from others, as well as the others from me, this was his VERY FAVORITE Christmas gift. He played with it over & over again. He was crushed when it met with an accident & a piece was broken off. He then continued to play with it that way, which caused the wiring to break & the toy to stop working. I sent a request to Haktoys for a repair & MUCH to my amazement, they agreed to replace the toy for my Grandson!!! I WILL continue to do business with this company for sure!!! A GREAT & reputable company is VERY tough to find!!! I can't imagine saying, "No" to this Amazing Little Man!!! :) Thank You Haktoys!!!

SIMPLY PUT - WONDERFUL toy. I purchased this for one of my daycare children for his birthday - 6 yrs old. His mother had purchased 2 remote cars from walmart for Christmas for him. Both broke down within days. This car not so. Car runs approximately 1/2 hr per charge. I used 2 AA batteries in remote part and charge the car. A great savings on batteries. Still have not replaced batteries in remote. Just a great great car. I can't praise it enough. Well constructed, not flimsy. We leave the car here at daycare home. All the boys take turns playing with it - 3 of them. I get a break and they have loads of fun. Good hand, eye coordination development. Otherwise just straight up fun for them.

Fun toy, exceeds expectations!

Super fun! Right out of the box these cars are a blast. My three (almost four) year old twin boys LOVE them. Fortunately they don’t like the music on all the time, so they turn it off. It gets annoying after a minute (or less). So loud! But easy to turn off. They like to play with them in our dark hallway to really see the lights flash and glow. You don’t need to be in the dark though, it just enhances the effect. These cars far exceed my expectations. I say cars because we have two, one of each color. My husband and I try to get a turn playing with them! They charge quickly and hold their charge for a long time. They’ve never died while we’ve been playing with them. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a fun remote control car. They’re unique and entertaining.

These things are a blast!

This item was purchased as a Christmas gift for my grandson. His brother received a blue one that operates on a different frequency, so that they can both drive them at the same time without the two remote controls interfering with each other. Both boys love them. It wasn't long before they were making them do stunts, and battle each other. The repetitive music can be turned off with a switch, to avoid annoyance. The flashing LEDs look really cool in a dim room, or outside after dark. They are very sturdy. The four year old repeatedly set his on the desk, (about 30 in. tall) then drove it off the edge to fall on the hardwood floor. The toy just kept on truckin'. The rechargeable battery pack in the car is a nice feature, although you have to provide your own USB charger. At least it does come with a cable to connect to the charger. I highly recommend these for any child (or parent).

First one didn't work, but Haktoys refunded money AND replaced! Thank you!

It was very cool and seemed like it would be an awesome toy--IF IT HAD WORKED. Broken. Didn't work from the get-go due to faulty electronics. We sent it back for a refund and will not try it again. Bummer. My 7-year-old was bummed. UPDATE: This company pursued me relentlessly for over a year to resolve this issue. They refunded our money and offered to replace the toy free of charge. I am awaiting our free replacement. I will update when we get it to let everyone know. UPDATE: Our free replacement arrived within 3 days of me responding to Haktoys relentless efforts to contact me and make things right, and for updating my review. A brand new toy arrived and is waiting under the tree for the child whom we originally purchased this for 18 months ago! I really appreciate a company that makes things right. They went overboard to make it right. I wasn't checking my Amazon emails and I didn't see their multiple messages, so they actually mailed me a letter through the mail!

Awesome remote control car with cool features!

This remote control car was purchased as a gift for our 2.5 year old. We chose it based on other reviews, and because of the unique features. Our son was extremely happy and continues to play with it. It's taken a lot of abuse (falling off stairs, couches, etc), but has not malfunctioned yet. The lights and sounds are cool features (although the music is somewhat annoying, but it can be separately turned off), but the coolest features it the twisting of the wheels. Highly recommended as a great, affordable remote control car!

Great toy, great service

Get this for your child! They will love it. My two year old has such a great time with it already, and she can barely control it. This is a great dexterity building tool, and fantastic for development as well. The company is fantastic, and their customer service is some of the best I have dealt with. I had a problem and they resolved it within a few hours. I highly recommend this toy.

I thought about taking off a star because we had to send one back for breaking in the first hours of use. I didn't however, because the company was very very helpful and processed the return in less than 24 hours so I could replace it with another. I ordered both the blue and the red for my twin nieces, and they LOVE them. They don't stop playing with them from the moment they arrive. The song becomes tiresome and I wish there were more choices. ONE TWO THREE FOUR! LOL the lyrics beyond those first four words are not quite so easy to understand. Learning to drive it was a little tricky as the front end does not turn left and right as would be "normal" on a vertical.axis but instead flips side over side in the direction of a jet propeller in relation to the car body, on a horizontal axis.. I wouldn't recommend it for younger than four as this would be frustrating for a younger child. The bright lights and loud music completely sell this toy with the girls, even if it doesn't always go where they want it to. I think part of the fun is the challenge of making it go where you want it to go as it acts a bit crazy! It does a decent job of not getting stuck if you are willing to wait for it, but the girls usually just run over to it and get it going the right way. All in all, a great fun little toy completely worth every cent. I would buy ten of them if I had ten children to buy them for!

Super durable with excellent customer service backing it up

LOVE this car. It is super durable and the remote works very well. Everything lights up, including the wheels. The collest part of this little car is that the way that its built, it can't really crash because its made to turn,roll and twist out of any situation, so its perfect for kids. The wheels are fat and solid and there is no way that anything is chipping or coming off of this solidly built workhorse. There is an option to turn the music on or off, which is good because the song can get annoying after some time. I honestly can't believe that a product this durable sells for such a low price. I will say that that after about a month of use, the wheels were having difficulty turning so I contacted the company requesting what they suggest that I do, and they immediately sent out a replacement. So a definite 5 stars for an amazing and super fun remote control car with and a durable product with excellent customer service to stand behind it.
