Ace Hangers

Absolutely fantastic hangers, I'm so happy I found them on Amazon, I'd been purchasing them from my local grocery store in sets of 12 for 3 times the price, it is a pleasure to purchase them here for so much less money and of equal quality. I love the hangers, they hold my tops, light sweaters and silks without any damage. I'd previously used and paid a lot of money for plastic hangers, hangers which had pulled and snagged my precious and expensive silks and knitted tops, these take up a fraction of the space and are fabric friendly. They don't bend and they are covered in a soft velvet, I can't rave enough about them. I am adding photos which can show the size width of these hangers versus the plastic type, one in increments of 18 and/or 20, so you can judge for yourself, and also how I was able to take a FULL bar on a clothing rack and cut the clothing width in half, plus I wanted to show that they are hanger friendly in fitted closets. I'd give these 10 Stars if I could. Thanks, they've cut my space in half :-)

Strong, Non-slip, Good Quality

I really appreciate these hangers and the job they do. I have ordered them before after using another brand that I also like but that is more expensive. These are as good and easier to order. They are strong and hold my coats well and with the covering hold very light, silky fabrics in place. I no longer find the slinky things on the floor. Nor have I had any problem with the finish on the hangers even though I hang clothes to dry on them frequently. I've yet to have one break. Highly recommend.

Great for tank tops or wide-necked shirts

Great for tank tops or wide-necked shirts. I hate putting away laundry, and I hate even more having to pick up stuff I've already put away that's fallen off the hanger. These hangers are the solution to that second part (I still have to put away the laundry in the first place, but I suppose I can live with that). The hangers are sturdy, and you can adjust which direction the hook faces. Would definitely recommend if you have finicky garments that refuse to stay on hangers!

Perfect!

I bought these because of the price, figuring I could return them if they were as bad as some of the reviews made them seem. Fortunately for me... They're perfect! I bought the cream color because they were much cheaper, and I was worried about the reviews saying they shed because I have mostly black shirts. I've used these for months and they haven't shed on anything. None have broken, the metal part twists just fine, and they're strong enough to hold heavy coats and sweaters. I've bought many different brands of this style hanger and have been replacing all my plastic hangers. I'd buy these again and have recommended them to family and friends.

Very happy with purchase!

I read a ton of reviews to try to pick a slim hanger to get some more space in my closet, and these arrived this week and worked out great. All hangers arrived in great condition. Other reviews said many arrived broken, but everything was in working order and made it in my closet with no issues. Other reviews also mentioned that the black came off the hangers and they had to be pre soaked. I didn't see any of this, and put my clothes on these hangers on my white bed spread and didn't notice any black shedding. The hangers are also definitely space saving. I had previously used the plastic hangers that come directly from the store, and this definitely gives you a bit more space in the closet. I attached a photo so you can see the difference between 25 of these hangers vs 25 of the regular store hangers in my closet - a definite difference! As far as how sturdy they are, they've worked for all my blouses and cocktail dresses really nicely. The plus is that nothing slides off! I have one coat on one and it actually seems to be holding up nicely. The only thing I would have liked is if the hanger heads swiveled, but they're not advertised as doing so, so I didn't expect that and am totally fine as is, and actually just repurchased it to change the rest of my closet hangers to these slimmer ones!

I didn't know hangers could make me so happy!

I love these hangers! After reading the reviews I decided to order the white ones because I didn't want to take a chance on the black ones making a mess. They don't shed at all, even on my black clothes. I was amazed at how well they grip the fabric. Nothing falls off of these things! I first bought the 50 pack, but loved them so much that I ordered another 50. They are also a lot thinner than the plastic hangers I was using. My closet looks so much neater now. I highly recommend them!

Space-saving and no more dresses slipping off!

I kept hearing people saying good things about velvet hangars and decided to give these a try since they had great reviews and they were on sale for ~$10 something. I have a ton of dresses and was tired of having things sliding off the hangars due to the shape of the neckline, and these are fantastic replacements for plastic hangars. Nothing slides off them, and they take up WAY less space than my old plastic hangars. I was shocked to see how much more room I had in my closet, and it's really great not to have dresses sliding all over the place. My dresses use to go all the way across the shelf in the picture, and now they fit in less than half the space. Amazing!

Excellent hangers for tops and dresses. Nothing slips off them and they take up less space.

These are GREAT hangers for hanging tops of almost any variety. (For delicate things I still use satin pillow hangers.) The velvet like covering grabs your tops and hangs onto it. In fact, you need to slow down a little bit to correctly position your tops on the hanger or it will hang in what ever crooked mess you throw on it. They are lightweight and take up a little less space than the plastic hangers we've all been using for years. These are my favorite features: * Items with a silky, slippery texture will NOT fall off * Even tiny little lingerie pieces or silky robes stay in place. * They keep my work blouses and nicer tops held into the shape I hang them in - no hanging wrinkles. * Nothing slides off. * The hanging dimples and the velvet like texture told everything very effectively without stressing the fabric. * They take up less space and are lightweight. They have a limit to what they can hold. If you have big bulky or heavy items, you should look for a hanger that is better suited for that task. These are for tops and dresses of many varieties and a good addition to anyone's closet.

Awesome

I'm hooked. So, I watched the movie "Joy" and realized she was the original inventor of the velvet hangers. In the past I had used them for nice dresses because the clothes don't slip off but then I decided to buy a bunch of these - like 150 -- and re do my entire closet. IT IS AMAZING!!!!! I bought this particular product because they were r ask ably priced, I could get them quickly, and I knew I would be able to re order the exact same hanger if I needed more in the future. That being said, I believe the others that I had on hand were from The Container Store and both hangers seemed identical. It seems that everyone that makes these tries to keep the exact same dimensions so they hand uniformly in your closet. My clothes are all hanging so straight and nice and while one of the features is that you can pack more into your closet, this exercise of changing out all hangers to these caused me to do a major clean out and trip to Goodwill. An added "bonus" was that you cannot just yank clothes off the hangers. I thought this would be irritation as that was my standard mode when everything was on whit plastic hangers. But it turns out it's awesome. The white plastic hangers would be all flipped up and messed up when I yanked clothes off. My closet is amazingly tidy and organized thanks to these!!

Match my last brand of velvet hangers, look nice and are grippy

I've only had these hangers for 2 months now, but so far I am pleased. The last brand of velvet hangers (called Closet Complete) I had bought off amazon, about 5 years ago, about half of them had broken over the years and I needed to add more to replace them as well as start putting them in closets other than the one in the master bedroom. These matched my old hangers very well, and I don't think you can tell that I've mixed and matched different brands at all. I love velvet hangers for how my shirts never slip off them onto the floor anymore, which means they definitely have some "grip" and you can't slide your clothes off as easily anymore either. Worth the trade off to me. These add a lot more usable space compared to the thicker plastic hangers and I think they look a lot nicer too. They make our "builder grade" wire shelf closets look nicer than they actually are (paired with some baskets) and I'd definitely recommend making the upgrade. Given that the last set of hangers I bought suffered a slow death over the years, I'm not ready to say that these are the best hangers yet since I haven't had them that long yet, but so far none are broken and I will be back to report if anything changes.
