Pros: Like how compact they are yet hold just the right amount. So far, holding up really well with my files. Cons: Wish they were a bit thicker... 1 was broken/cracked in carton. But the packing was really good, doubled boxed....so could have been handler issue or in factory accident. Pro bonus: exchange for broken one was super easy, fast and handled professionally.

I love these file boxes. I use them to store everything from dog supplies to clothes. They hold up well to constant use so I've turned some of mine into drawers for my Brylanehome 5-Tier Metal Closet With Hanging Rod. If you pack them vertically, you can get a lot of shoes into one of these boxes without squashing the shoes (think of a cubby turned on its back). The finish of the plastic part diffuses the contents so that you can see what's in the box but it is subdued so the contents are visible but not noticeable unless you are really looking for something. I've found labels stick well to the boxes if you like to label contents. I've used Iris boxes for many years and they have held up to a remarkable amount of abuse. They sometimes cost a little more but for long-term use, they are actually very reasonably priced.

I think I've ordered about 24 of these. I LOVE them. They are replacing all my cardboard boxes for archives and other files, for my business and personal use. They fit hanging folders and are easy to open (from the correct side). Perfect size and when full, easy to carry with the side grip, not too heavy when full of paper, books, etc. Stackable. Compact. Easy to label: I put a sheet of paper with the contents inside the front. I've had a bunch in my extremely hot attic for a couple of years with no degradation I can see -- and no silverfish!!! They've been in my frozen garage without cracking in the cold. And the cardboard box they come in (when you buy six) are very sturdy themselves, perfect for storing extra-large items like sports gear in the garage. (I admit to having trouble breaking those down to recycle since they are so USEFUL! But I don't want ever to be a candidate for Hoarders...lol). I'm hoping that they'll become just popular enough to bring the price down. Worth the cost, at about $8 each, but I do have budget limits. I'd buy more except for that. Would love them in other sizes. (Hope IRIS is reading this :-)

I love these. I can put something in front to indicate the contents. They hold a lot of files, just enough to lift comfortably for me. They are sturdy and arrived quickly. They stack very well. The lids fit well. They are perfectly suited for my needs.

I have many of those IKEA shelving units (expedit / kallex) and similar, which have square shelf areas, and I was always hunting for one-piece plastic bins to fit rather than the flimsy overpriced fabric baskets which didn't cut it for my kid's toys or our mess of electronic cables. I finally found these and want to spread the word! Not only are they great for filing (again, we can use our square cubby furniture instead of buying a filling cabinet), but the boxes are the perfect size to store anything in those square shelves! Especially love it for organizing kids toys - one for cars, one for action figures, etc. And you can put stickers on them to help identify! (I know sometimes stickers won't stick to plastic things). Quality material, well made, durable even with my crazy toddler, and totally affordable, even cheaper than those dumb cloth boxes! Highly recommend, buying more now :) EDIT: I thought they were a great deal when I paid 43, now they're down to 28, what! Snap these up!

The file cabinets were exactly what I needed and very sturdy. The only issue is one of the lids were broken and Amazon does not make it easy to request a replacement lid without having to return the whole order. Even tried to go through the seller directly but kept popping me back to Amazon. Hoping Amazon could make it easier to request a replacement order.

I wanted to organize my files without buying another piece of furniture. These arrived in good shape (I'd been worried about cracks etc. during delivery but they were just fine) and worked perfectly with the standard hanging files I had on hand. I'm not carrying them around, just storing them in a closet, but they seem durable enough for this purpose. Would buy again.

These are a great way to organize and store files you dont use that often...I can store them in my garage ...just to be sure they are air tight and no silverfish get in I put saran wrap over the top before I put top on. Size is perfect and for an emotional hoarder as I can keep all my memorabilia, knowing it's organizes and will be in good condition until my heirs toss it...sort of kidding....but I am happy I finally organized my past in these great file boxes.

I now have at least a dozen of these bins. I use them mostly for file storage for college courses I teach. They are very durable - none of the bins or lids have ever cracked or warped. I’m using the ones in this order to store office supplies while my home office is undergoing renovation, and afterwards I’ll use them to store tax and medical records from last year.

I love these boxes! I originally bought these boxes to file our tons of family paperwork, but now we use them for storing all kinds of things. It is convenient to be able to walk by boxes and see what we have inside. They stack nice, and they fit nicely on our shelves. They seem pretty durable and we haven't had any trouble with them breaking. Also the lids fit well and stay on. We will be buying more of these boxes, well worth it.
