I really like this steamer!. A few years ago I purchased a small" shark" steamer, not bottom of the line but the next one up. It worked great for a while then about 4 months into using it, the main nozzle brush started to disintegrate. Then the joints started to present problems, the floor steaming mechanism broke, and the hose started to wear down. I threw it out after about 6 months- But I used it a lot (small project about once a week). I tell you about the shark because I want to compare the two. I paid about 30.00 more for the McCulloch. I took it out of the box two days ago, and Cleaned the kitchen floor with it, then the front of the 'Frig' the front of the dishwasher, the front on the stove, the faucets and all around the sink. I was impressed with: 1. The instructions are in English and quite thorough. 2. It comes with a special cup for measuring the amount of water you put into the machine. Suggests you use Distilled, or de-mineralized water. 3. All the connections seem very very stable and able to withstand a lot of the heat involved when the steamer is working. I love the way the floor attachment works (it is on a ball joint). and the floor cleaning pads are very nice- they are heavy and absorbent and will be able to withstand a lot of washes in the machine and dryer. My kitchen floor was so very clean, that it felt like a new floor. The floor is tile and the heavy cleaning pad got between the tiles, into the grouted lines and cleaned it all!! 4. There are several attachments for when you need just a bit of scrub for those very tough sticky or heavy projects: two with a very thick "scrubby" type surface, three regular nozzles with a lighter brush (these things melted in my "other" machine rather quickly-- within about 2 weeks) these are stronger and made with heavier materials. -- there are more attachments that I haven't used yet... Next week it is off to the bathroom with this wonderful machine-- Steaming does leave things a bit damp so you will want to use a clean dry rag to wipe up the gunk that steams away--except for the floor pads which take care of most of it. The floors and other surfaces are "squeeky clean" and the water dries pretty fast. We all have a lot of allergies in our household and I feel that steam cleaning makes surfaces feel very clean and germ free. The steam can shoot the gunk out from tight surfaces- such as around the faucet and the edge of the sink where even an old toothbrush makes it a chore, AND then there are parts of the stove... , I wish I had had one of these machines when my kids were crawling... I spent so much time on my hands and knees trying to keep the floors clean enough for them to crawl around on. This would have saved me lot time that I could have spent with them, or taking a nap!!!

I received the MC1375 and found upon inventory of the numerous parts that two pieces were missing, the jet nozzle and the 3" scraper. I contacted the consumer service department at the email address provided in the pamphlet that night. Early the next morning, they confirmed that my parts would be delivered in 3-5 business days. This steam system is very well designed and built. The parts fit together well and they went the extra mile in terms of the look. They spent a great deal of effort engineering the parts, for example the rotating mop head which folds almost flat and turns 360 degrees. The accessories provide a great deal of utility. While I haven't been able to use the smaller attachments, I've used the mop and triangle head extensively. The steam comes out at 200 degrees +. I've cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen so far, as well as the track on the patio door. Next on my list is the BBQ (using the wire brush, which has to wait for the jet nozzle delivery to attach it), and the wheels on my car (using the angled nozzle, also waiting for jet nozzle). The jet nozzle goes between the wand and the smaller attachments. The house is cleaner than it's ever been, with not a drop of chemicals or cleaners used in the process. I expect to spend about 30-60 minutes per day for the next week doing the initial full clean, and then don't expect to have to use it more than once or twice per month for the floors and to sanitize the kitchen. I think if they had to make an improvement, it would be to have an auto-retract cord. As a minimum there should be some kind of a clip included.

WOW! This machine works amazingly well. I'm 3 hours into cleaning (only actually wanted to do one floor today) and LOVING its versatility so much I decided to do the whole house! Baseboards cleaner than when they were installed, Grout lines CLEAN! Laminate floor CLEAN!, oven like new. Nooks and crannies that we all HATE, easy peasy. Took the stove vent filters outside and i'll be damned, 5 minutes later they were squeaky clean! The versatility is only limited by your ability to make it happen. READ the instructions! There are a few very good pointers you will definitely need. My biggest advice is "let the STEAM do the work, don't rush it, don't scrub hard, don't go fast, just nice and chill and your home will be cleaner than you could ever imagine". Okay gotta go now, tile floors are calling me.

I have no complaints. I've used this to clean the kitchen floor, a few greasy engines, and various car parts. It works exactly as I would expect it to, and heats up quite quickly. I haven't used all the attachments yet, but I cant offer any suggested improvements which is my reason for 5 stars. A few things to note, which aren't really a function of the unit, but a function of using a steamer. With constant use, you'll get only steam. If you stop using it for a few minutes and come back, you'll get a good squirt of water first (condensed steam) in the hose. I'd recommend using whatever attachment with a towel over the end, because steam can be quite hot (and it provides extra agitation for deep cleaning). I tend to wear gloves when using this also, to prevent burns. This steamer has proven to be quite durable through the moderate use its received so far. One full tank of water provides at least 60 minutes of steam (its as long as I've used it). Very happy with this purchase

I received my steamer and have used it a few times. It's easy to use and it does what I want. My floors look so good. The only thing that I think people should know is when you let it sit for a minute or two it spits out water and then steam. It took me a few times to remember to aim at the sink and let the water out. Other than that it does a great job. Mine didn't come with the window attachment so I will be looking to purchase that piece and shine up the windows so a bird can fly into them as that is what happens EVERY time I wash them.

This does exactly what I bought it for. My first project was to tackle the mold on the shower tiles and grout. It's not a miracle worker - you do have to use some elbow grease to scrub with the attachments as you steam. However, my shower is now mold free and the door is sparkling. I also used it to clean my bird cages. Several times a year, I take everything out of the cage, soak and wash all the toys and perches, and take the cages outside to spray them down. The whole process usually takes about 6 hours. With the steamer, I accomplished the same thing, but in an hour! I'm also planning on steaming my curtains and cleaning the couch. It's going to be very useful. The steamer itself is light weigh, rolls easily, and is easy to use. The cord and hose are really long, plus there are two extenders for the wand. I can't imagine a job that the attachments wouldn't cover - there are so many of them. They seem pretty sturdy too. I used several brush attachments while de-molding the shower and didn't ruin them. I'll be able to use them all again. It holds a good amount of water, doesn't take forever to heat up, and the instructions are very clear for how to operate it. Overall, I'm very pleased with it.

I use this to steam clean the floors and carpets in my Loft. A full tank will clean aprox 1300 sq/ft. and takes around 30 to 45 minutes to hit everything. I don't have to refill the tank and sometimes a little left in the tank. This is so much better than any stand alone wet-vac. I've tried those and they all kind of suck or leave behind considerable wetness on the floor. This thing with the scrubbing pads works like a dream for me. It's exactly what I've always wanted to sanitize my floors and remove any grime in my loft. I have polished concrete and tile floors with a few area rugs. I will steam clean my runner and area rug first and them hit the floors. I've used it in the bathroom and on the bathroom tile walls. You should probably pick up a couple extra microfiber pads. My place takes 2 to clean the loft and an extra one for the bathroom. You could get away with less, but the pads get dirty and wet. I recommend cleaning the floors with a vacuum ahead of steam cleaning. I now have robot vacuum that does most of that and is ready for steam cleaning. You should only use distilled water and it takes up as much space as a small vacuum in storage and there's a separate bag for all the attachments (there are many) I don't use all the other nozzles very often, but I assume they work as well for their given tasks and it does to sanitize and clean my floors.

Love this thing! The only problem I’ve had is the knob to increase or decrease steam pressure fell off when I had it upside down draining the water when I was finished using it. Sometimes the steam pressure gets a little weak but if want to clean your house or your car. This is a good choice. I would get extra attachments, the plastic brushes don’t last long if you try to scrub with them. The one extended tube for the floor attachment, the inner plastic tube kept coming apart but after re installing it a few times I got it to lock in place. Very happy with this steamer! The last picture is of the carpet attachment. It doesn’t stay together very well but I don’t use the wide bottom part for anything. I mainly bought this steamer to clean my cars interior. It cleaned out the smell of vomit when a person lost their alcoholic in my back seat on their way home. Didn’t have to pay a detailer to get the smell out or ride around with the smell till I could take it in to get it cleaned. Will definitely buy another one if this one stops working.

The steam cleaner was packed well and arrived quickly; the unit was easy to assemble as the instructions are well-written. If you have an apartment with little tile, this is not for you; one would be better off with a good steam mop. As true, if you have a large home with much tile, one should invest in a $3000-$5000 unit with a large boiler. For the average home with tile in, say the kitchen, foyer, baths, and perhaps a hallway, this is "the one." Well made and nicely designed, the McCulloch 1375 has a good-size tank which I have never had to refill to complete the tasks. The mop attachment glides and really releases (very hot) steam. To clean grout, however, I still prefer to do a major cleaning twice a year on my hands and knees with vinegar & water; then use this to keep it clean. I have some tile in my den; the morning after I had used the 1375, I remarked to my Australian cattle dog, "This is the first time a steam cleaner has done a fantastic job." While Willow Bird did not reply, I'm sure she agreed.
