High Quality Product Through and Through
I don’t write many reviews especially for something as insignificant as a fan, but this is one of the finest products I have received. The packaging and instruction manual alone are well made and was definitely a precursor to the actual product. The fan itself is amazing and of equal high quality. The speed control settings can make this fan run at near silent. I use this for my Xbox One and power it from the XBox USB port. My Xbox is much louder than this fan but the fan can run fast enough to keep my Xbox from overheating. I would highly recommend this fan for anyone looking to keep their gaming machine running cool without a high pitch squeal of an external fan. This fan runs silent and gets the job done.

EXTREMELY Quiet Fan
EXTREMELY quiet fan regardless of fan speed. Moves a good amount of air and can detect air movement upto 2.5ft away with a vaneometer. At point blank it reads at around 400 ft/min, and at 12 inches at reads around ~100ft/min. For a small application like a apple TV or Amazon Fire TV this product will be successful by itself but you may need to put another fan series for a large unit like a DVR or Amp/Receiver. 4 position switch (High, Medium, Low, Off) works well and is clearly defined. FYI for those who are thinking of daisy chaining with this thing, the toggle switch for fan speed on the first fan in series as well as the female USB port to allow for daisy chaining. You'll have to toggle the switch on any of the subsequent fans in series to high to match the same fan speed as fan #1. Example: If you were to put 3 fan's in speed at medium (let's just say that the blade speed at this setting is 50% of max), the first fan will run at the expected speed of medium (50% of max), the second fan will run at 25% of max, and third fan will run at 12.5% of max.

Well built fan
I used this fan to circulate air in the bottom shelf of my refrigerator to even out the temperatures but it wasn't powerful enough, even on high speed. That's ok because I know it wasn't built for that. I'm sure the bigger, stronger version would have worked fine. Then I connected the fan to the USB port on my Playstation 3 and placed the fan against the air vent. I was amazed at all the warm/hot air that came out. This fan was perfect for the job and I'm sure it will extend the life of the gaming unit by reducing the temperature inside. Cheap insurance. I would recommend this fan to everyone with electronics; gaming system, computer, etc....

Now ya hear it, now ya don't.
Yep. It's quiet. Unless you mount it to a big wooden cabinet (=sounding board) and sit in an otherwise quiet room. You can hear it. Mine is built into a 3/4 inch walled cabinet, and is used to move air through, to keep an amplifier cool. It does move plenty of air for that purpose, since I also placed a three inch hole in the opposite side of the cabinet, for intake. This fan came with most everything you would need, unless you choose to mount it to a 3/4 inch wall, like I did. That's why I added a grill to the outside. The fan comes with wire grills, front and back, and has rubber mounting feet for both sides of the fan. They can be used or removed, as your needs call for. Power is supplied with a switched line, ending in a USB connector. That makes it especially handy for computer use, and the company thoughtfully includes a guzzinta for electrical outlets. The plug guzzinta the receptacle and the USB plug guzzinta the guzzinta. Oh, I can hear the fan when the room is otherwise completely quiet. Once I turn on the TV, I don't hear the fan. This was a most worthwhile purchase!

I was looking for a fan to cool down my streaming TV box since it started to get hot after a couple of hours being on and I was afraid it would malfunction. Based on it's good reviews I decided to try this out and it exceeded my expectations! It's a well made, super quiet fan that blows very strong air. I placed my TV box on top of this fan and it now stays cool to the touch after having it on all evening long. Not also is it super quiet but you can daisy chain it to more fans with its added USB connection. It also has as a switch to adjust the airflow but what it doesn't come with is an AC plug but that wasn't an issue since you can use any extra USB port on the device you're using it with or phone charger as long as it's 5v and I'm sure everyone has more than 1 of those at home. This is hands down the answer to cooling down your electronic devices with great efficiency. Thanks AC infinity!!

I'm amazed!! First things first
I'm amazed!! First things first. My order arrived super fast and well packaged! Just the right box for my new fan (I pay a lot of attention to the packaging for no reason). The box contains the AC Infinity fan, a square of doubled sided 3M tape and a plastic thing to secure or keep organized the cable. I bought this for my digital TV converter and actually was the right fit, the first thing I noticed is the actual fan is bigger than I expected (my fault to not pay attention to the dimensions) but is the right size for what I needed. So far very impressed, I tried this little guy and it's AMAZING, super quiet, nice look, great air flow and the silicon stands are removable so you can customize it a little bit for a better fit, and the most important thing it worked amazing, just in seconds I had my heating issue solved, yes, in seconds this thing cooled down my electronic. Other nice quality is that this fan has a USB connector to add another fan if you need, that is just awesome! Small yet powerful AC fan. I definitely recommend this product to get rid of the overheating in electronics, and can be used in different ways, and of course I'll buy again any AC Infinity products, I'm very happy!

More than I expected, great value
I wanted active cooling for a Netgate SG-2441 firewall, and by that I mean I needed a motorized deterrent to an overgrown kitten with a taste for slinging herself over a little fanless pc's case and only means of heat dissipation. The S1 is probably overkill for my particular application, and it more than doubles the SG-2441's height. I considered returning the S1 when I saw how large it was in person, but watching the firewall's cpu cores drop from 45º to 24º after a few minutes of sucking air from the chassis' vents absolutely changed my mind. The feline heatsink was uninstalled without incident and has moved on to destroying everything else. Pros: - Materials, construction, and design are seemingly of much higher quality than similar devices on Amazon in the same price range (this is the only one I've tested) - Thick (~18G) power cable with inline high/medium/low/off switch and accessory usb power port; if you use the latter, ensure your psu provides adequate amperage - Quality bearings (rated for 67k hrs) are essentially inaudible over ambient noise at a few feet range on 'medium', no louder than the average running laptop fan on 'high' (not likely an issue outside pro recording environments) - Runs 'push' or 'pull', with heavy removable bumpers bolted to the frame to dampen noise and prevent movement - Metal grilles keep fingers and paws away from blades - Includes an actual manual, printed on heavy stock and written in proper English (What did I just buy? Where am I?) Cons: - None really - If you want to pick nits, the 1m power cable is unnecessarily long considering it's likely to be plugged into the adjacent device. Imagine a daisy-chained array of S1 fans, as described in the manual, and the cable mess it'd involve. Why anyone would use usb fans for such a project is beyond me. Some day I'll hack the cable and lose the accessory port, but for now it's a big cable-tied block. A tiny zip tie is provided in the box, but it's too small to tame the whole cable. If you don't have OCD, cats, and/or OCD cats, I doubt any of this matters...

Washer Fan Usage
I used this product as a washer fan to reduce and eliminate potential moldy smell that might arise in my new LG WM3207C washer. This fan was the right size and had a multi-speed switch with an off setting. It was easy to install. I removed the grill on the side facing the washer. Just remove 4 screws. I bought four ceramic circular magnets and glued them to each of the 4 feet. This allowed the fan to be attached to the washer with enough clearance. I velcroed the switch to the top back part of the washer. The power cord is a USB cable which I connected to an adapter to a 120V outlet. So far it has been working great. We turn off when doing laundry. We won't know for quite awhile if this does eliminate any moldy smell. The commercial washer breeze fan produces 11cfm and this one produces 26cfm. That is more than double the airflow so it should work.

Awesome Fan for Keeping Your Front Loading Washer Dry and Mold Free
I bought one of these to ventilate my front loading washer. I had to disassemble the washer to repair it and found it was full of goop and mold. I scrubbed it out with TSP and bleach and made it good as new. During the process I discovered the washer has a vent that is connected directly to the tub and exits the rear of the washer. I cut off the grille with a dremmel tool and installed zip ties which now hold this fan in place. I ran a switch around to the front and turn it off when the washer is in use since the door is closed. Anytime it's off, the fan now runs continuously. The great thing is it's low power draw and almost silent. The other thing I didn't realize before I bought it was that it's actually a three speed fan. I use it on hi and power it via the USB connector that plugs into the wall with an old cell phone charger plug. Works great and appears to be quality made!

Excellent fan, very quiet, fixed my slow/overheated PC issues
Excellent product. I was honestly not expecting something that works so well for so cheap. I have my surface pro 4 and dock stuffed into a slim drawer at work, it powers 2 4k monitors and does a LOT of heavy computing so it gets very hot, even the dock gets hot. Of course it doesn't help that it's stuffed into a drawer. It was to the point where the CPU was being throttled and everything was running slow as molasses, and probably causing long term damage as well. I cut out a hole the size of the fan, got some #8 32 2" machine bolts and lock nuts and attached it to the bottom of my drawer. The long bolts were so I could use the rubber mounts. The fan blows outward, there is plenty of air coming in around the drawer. I immediately saw a difference in performance, PC ran as it should be running. In terms of noise, there is none. My office is fairly quiet, but I can't say it's funeral parlor quiet, but still I can't hear any noise at all. The fan is solid, no rattling, no ball bearing noise, and this is at full speed. Air output seems excellent, I can feel a strong output at about 4 inches or so away. My surface pro is cool to the touch so I know it's doing it's job. I also like that it comes with a daisy chain output USB port, so you can daisy chain multiple fans. I initially thought it was a USB bypass, but it doesn't work with peripherals such as a usb mouse. In the instructions it only references it as a fan daisy chain. I'm completely happy, but if I had a wish list I'd say consider making this a usb bypass because usb spaces are highly limited on my surface pro/dock setup. My only caveat, but this isn't the hardware's fault, is that when my PC is locked the fan stays on. That's just how USB works. I'm in search of a program that can allow me to change the hours the fan runs, as I don't need it to run when the PC is locked as it's not being used heavily. I also cannot put the PC to sleep because I need remote access to it, although I have considered wake on LAN as an option. My concern is I don't know how long the fan will last being used 24/7 like this, but even if I replace it once a year it's cheap enough.
