After years of greasing points with a pump grease gun, this is a huge improvement! The fit and finish is great, like most dewalt products. Loading a tube is a breeze with this thing. The led light is a nice bonus as well. I would easily put this product against Lincoln or any other cordless grease gun. The only thing I wish was better was the price. As always, you pay a premium for the yellow tools. Haha But all in all, I would easily buy again!

All around great tool. I work on an oil rig and really put my tools to the test and this one stands up to the toughest conditions. It’s only down fall is the weight. Weighing in around 10lbs. With grease and battery does make a noticeable impact when climbing a 170’ ladder with a grease gun and tools dummy corded to you. But overall with it, enough pressure to clear neglected zerk fittings and the hose is long enough that you can hook to a fitting and rest the gun in something else

I work nightshift maintenance in a fairly large factory and bought this to save time and save my arms from wearing out too early in the night from using a hand pump. I need to put about 250 pumps of grease into various machines nightly, and twice a month I put upwards of 2,000 pumps into a bunch of large overhead sprockets running the various chains we have throughout the facility. This pump has lived up to it's hype so far, it's almost invaluable in getting my things done and keeping my overhead down, in terms of time. I haven't really had a problem with it since I bought it about three or four months ago. It's stood up well so far to the nicks and dings that happen in factory work. Only real criticism I have is that I wish I could buy a spare tube, but I can't seem to find them and the plastic structural ring that comes with the tool. Not a big deal I guess, but it'd be nice. I do wish I had bought the Milwaukee pump, to be honest, solely because of the feature on those units to shut off after a certain amount of pumps, so that I wouldn't have to keep mental count of how many pumps I've been running. But I had DeWalt batteries from other tools I've bought, and I didn't feel like shelling out more $$ just for a Milwaukee battery and charger, so DeWalt it was. All in all, 8/10 would buy again. If it had the pump count selector and an option to buy spare tubes, it's be 10/10.

It loads a bit different, those that had trouble loading, didn't push the rod sideways. Most have a tab to hold the rod, this one has a notch in the rod.The air plunger is not spring loaded, you have to twist it like a tube of toothpaste to release air Then it loads fine. Good power, did a complete boat trailer, with one small lithium ion battery. I'll use a bigger battery, when I test it on the boat lifts that are in the water all year. Even with a hand pump, I have to use a hammer and piston to open some of the zerks.

Let's face it, anywhere you are using equipment is likely no where close to an air compressor or possibly even power. I have found that I take the time to grease my equipment more often because this tool is so handy and powerful. Quit wasting time waiting on the air compressor to catch up, getting grease all over your air hose, and taking the grease gun apart because it won't move the grease. This gun is more powerful than any air powered gun I have had.

Greatly speeds up greasing vehicles or machines . What's nice is that you can have it down at your side while you're under a vehicle hitting grease fittings and just squeeze the button. Much easier, much faster, less work. You may want to consider wrapping a plastic shopping bag around the body of it when using it. It has a tendency to get grease all over the tool and battery. Also , when you prime a grease gun, you unscrew the tube a little, then release the rod which pushes any air out. If you don't have the tube screwed in enough when priming, it can pop out and you'll have a mess . If you know how to prime a grease gun then you shouldn't have the probs you often see voiced about grease guns losing prime. If it does lose prime, you just bleed it...and make sure you don't have the tube unscrewed too much (as i mentioned above) . There is a guy on youtube that shows plainly and simply, how to prime a grease gun. The title is " How to bleed a grease gun every time " and his channel is DLH Farms . And a good thing to buy with this gun is a Grease Needle , I have the Lumax LX-1416 . It's cheap, and it will allow you to pump grease into many places that need it, but dont have a grease fitting.

my one year review got this for my job to make things for easy and more faster lube bearings at work i use this daily bases so far three tubes of lube per week for one year . battery life is good .led light ok will get you by you do need clean screen wire filter time to time .depends on what lube you use thats the only issue i had .

A++, didn't believe its going to be that good, i fix Semi-trucks and use it everyday and its hard worker like all Dewalt tools.... it has its cones the biggest one going to be its on a heavy side of tools, especially when you have to reach somewhere where you can't rest it on something... but it has lot more pros: portable, ready all the time, great pressure, and ets....

This is the best grease gun I own. I've tried pneumatic, and manual grease guns. By far this is well made, and the 20 volt system does the job. I use it to grease road trucks, and where I used to lift the front axles to grease front ends, I don't do it anymore. It has enough pressure to push grease through. Excellent machine

I love this thing. I’ve had it for several months and use it on my truck, mowers and other things needing grease and wish I had bought one of these a long time ago. I don’t have the new fancy batteries that dewalt came out with over the last few years but I do have the smaller 20v lithium batteries that I use on my drill and impact drivers and it works just fine. After speaking with dewalt customer service they said there is no problems running the smaller/older batteries, you just don’t keep a charge as long but I haven’t had any problems with battery life for my applications; I suppose if you were a mechanic that worked on heavy equipment in the field or something similar that didn’t have the ability to recharge batteries in the field it would be worth buying the new batteries but I do fine with the old ones. If you’re thinking of buying a battery grease gun then go for it and get this one, you won’t regret it at all.
