Got this after a failed attempt to install a new set of two step stairs on our camper. Seems our mounting bracket is just a bit non-standard and I didn’t want to deal with angle grinders and welding. This step is really sturdy and easy to use. We are new to RV-ing and I learned a lesson on our last trip. The state park campsites were gravel and very uneven front to back and side to side. The adjustable legs on this step allowed for quick adaptation to the uneven ground. If I had been able to install stairs with two steps, the bottom step would have been about 3” off the ground and not parallel to the ground. Obviously, this step can also be used around camp for getting the clothes line a little bit higher, helping get something on/off the car, etc.

We have a pop-up camper with just one step. It slides out nearly straight. So, there's a bit of a hike up to the step. I'm um... vertically challenged. Yeah, I'm short. And, I have bad knees. So, doing that big step up was NOT a pretty sight, and I just kept waiting for the day I fell face-first into the camper. Luckily, this arrived before I had a chance to fall. It folds up very easily. The legs adjusted quite easily (if you have trouble getting it to adjust, a bit of WD-40 should do the trick. Just spray right at the "dot" with the push button. We didn't have to do this on the step, but have had to do it on some awning poles that worked similarly). The "grippy" feet seem they will do great at holding the step in place. The shortest setting was the perfect height between the ground and the step that was already there. To store, we flip it on its top, folded legs facing up, and slide it under our table. Then, we can store things on top of it when we're on the move. The non-slip strips are GREAT, by the way. They even grip in the rain!

Great step for my wife to do a hip rehab exercise routine. This thing is SOLID and has no give! Very nicely built. Doesn't slip on the floor and the top surface has a great no slip surface (I am 230 lbs). I am so much happier with this item than the cheap plastic aerobic steps that were the other choices. Price was really good as well - especially compared to choices that were made for exercise. Love the adjustable leg height, and I was able to hit a 9" step height that her trainer recommended. For step exercise, I strongly suggest you consider this vs the purpose built exercise platforms. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Great step up for my 16' Scamp! I applied a plastic grass door mat cut to fit to the top with zipties. The other half of the mat goes just inside the door of the camper. It's just the right height to step in. I am adding that I have never folded the step and don't plan to as I can just put it in my truck when I go camping. So, I can't address the ease of adjustment. I have another step from Harbor Freight that I place over this one 90 degrees, providing me 2 steps up into my camper. But in the driveway I just use this one.

So, our new cargo trailer didn't come with a step. Why not? Because all of the under carriage steps corrode and eventually fall off. Now, that's a design feature. We appreciated the dealer's advice not to order a step with our custom built aluminum trailer. Interestingly, no one in the trailer universe seems to offer an aluminum step with aluminum rails to overcome the corrosion issue...sigh. After ordering a fold-up step to be bolted on the under carriage, it turned out to have the same problem as all of the others. It gets welded on the undercarriage (spendy) with steel rails (that corrode) and eventually brings us right back to zero step. This nifty little aluminum step is the bomb! It's large enough for a single step and provides just enough height to get in and out of the trailer's side door without struggling. All 4 legs can be adjusted individually for uneven terrain. It has anti-skid treads on it so that we don't step out of the trailer and slip. All of the legs fold into the step for slim storage. It has large rubber feet to help with the anti-skid solution. At this price, if we lose it or dent it we won't cry because it's so much less expensive than installing a permanent step. It just took us a while to figure it out...lol.

This was the right step for allowing us to step in and out of our motorhome without a problem. The step is very sturdy and is adjustable which allows for even more flexibility. Arrived as promised and no issues with the condition of the step. Very Nice!

Very nice, stable, adjustable, large, heavy duty platform. This is not some small, little, wobbly step. You get what you pay for. Yes, it is a little more expensive than others but this is our second one (this one is for my work van - the first one is for our camp-trailer). Stout aluminum with no-slip tape on the treads. I would buy one again in a heartbeat.

I love that this step folds up. Our prior step did not fold and was a real PITA to store in the motor home bay. This step takes up less than half the depth of the older one. The price paid at Amazon was significantly cheaper than what I found anywhere else, so that was an especially great feature. The step is sturdy and I feel quite certain it will serve us for many years to come.

We tried to go cheap with those plastic flat pack step stool, they broke...3 of them. We should have just bought this, we are all big ppl in my house and when we fall it isn't pretty. We've had this for a few months and I can honestly say I trust it. My husband and I BOTH got on the stool and jumped up and down, while the ground shook the stool stayed firm. It's easy to pack down for the RV but if you live small it would be ok in the house. My only gripe is I wish I could extend the legs up a bit. The platform is nice and big though. I would definitely buy this again.

I just received this step a couple of weeks ago, and on a recent stretched weekend, I had the opportunity to give it a good try out. Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I find the legs extremely easy to adjust, locking securely open and in whatever length chosen. The step appears to be extremely well made, and even if I do abuse it, I expect it to last quite awhile. I really like that it can be adjusted to match the step of my Class B motorhome, which has a relatively narrow built in step, so that getting in and out while camped is safer. The adjustments available are narrow enough that leveling it according to the terrain is very easy. It also folds very compactly, a real need in a Class B, which has limited storage space. All in all, this is an excellent product that looks like it will give many years of service.
