Meguiar's works better than other spray bomb odor eliminators we have used.

We love this stuff. I have used Meguiar's odor eliminator for a few years at our car dealership. It is one of the best products I have found that actually removes foul odors in the first application. It is very effective on smokers vehicles. The results sometimes last indefinitely, and sometimes only for a few months. The fact is that our $800 ozone machine works well, but often we still need to follow up with Meguiar's. It does not cover up odors with a strong perfume scent. It seems to destroy them, and then leaves a reasonable, pleasant and non offensive scent that lingers for a week or so. I am not fond of sweet or floral scents in our vehicles. Customers pick up that there is perfume covering funk. It is important that you remove the source of recurring odors. A dead or decaying rodent in your heater vents, or baby throw up on your rear seat needs to be removed. I personally like Meguiar's New Car Scent the best, but this stuff is also pleasant. Follow up 7-15-16 CABIN AIR FILTER Still love this stuff. We sold a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox that had been smoked in. The Mrs. said that if we got the smell out they would love to purchase it. Ozoned it and used one treatment of Meguiar's. They took delivery and were happy for about a month. When some of the odor returned they contemplate trading it in or selling it. It really wasn't that bad. Some folds are very sensitive. Someone suggested that they change the cabin air filter. We had neglected to do that. It did the trick, and they are happy customers again. Who'd of thunk?

Worked very well, better than expected!

I followed the instructions and everything went according to plan. At first its a very strong smell of household cleaning products combined with a manly type cologne. After about a week the smell weakened. After two weeks it is just about completely gone... or at least I don't notice it. My reason for use: I bought a used car with a strong bowling alley / cigarette smell. The dealer replaced the headliner, replaced the cabin filter and hired someone to perform a chemical bath service. The smell was lessened but still present. I took the car to a local car wash and had them steam clean every surface that they were willing to. This additionally reduced the smell but I could still smell the smoke slightly, especially while using the AC. I then used this product, leaving the AC on full per the instructions, and I no longer have any cigarette smell. I'm sure it was the combination of my efforts that removed the smell but I think that this product really did the job when it comes to removing lingering odors from my AC.

It has Meguiar's name on it... nuff said I got 6 ontop of the 4 I already had...

Good price. Found out about these when they were marked down at Wally... Had to get more. It works like a fogger, Set car thermostat to AC... RE-CIRCULATE... ON HIGH. Pop the cap off the can, place in the middle of your car and press the tab and get out and close the door. allow to mist for 15 min. Turn off car, roll down windows and let vent 10 or so & your good to go. Sent lasts about a month.

If your car smells then buy this!

This thing was awesome. After I quit smoking I just couldn't get the foul smell out of my truck. Then I got this, start your car and put the fan in high with the a/c cranked as low as it will go. Then, set this off in your vehicle and it cycles through the vents for ten minutes. After that just open the doors and let it air out and your car smells amazing. I will definitely buy this again! This really works!

I purchased a used car with low mileage, that has a little bit of a "funk" to it. Not a terrible smell, but you can clearly tell that the car was not fresh off of the factory line. I contemplated getting an ozone machine, but the excess wear that ozone can prematurely cause to your interior had me a little worried. I searched around and came across the Meguiar's Air Freshener "bomb" and gave it a shot. Use- Super easy. Look in your car and find the most central point. Turn your A/C on to full blast, with the air recirculating, and pull the trigger. Close your doors and let it sit for 15 min. After it's done, simply let your car air out for about 20 to 30 minutes and you're good to go! Results- I was very pleased with the "new car" scent. It is a very clean smell that's not overpowering. The odor that was previously in the car is no longer detectable. One worry I had was potential staining of the headliner from the mist, thankfully there is no residual leave behind, sans some minor film left on the front windshield. I'd recommend this for anyone that has a car with a little bit of a smell to it. I'm not sure how it'd work on really stinky cars, but I'd imagine that it would get most (if not all) of the smell out.

Review for smoke removal

The sweet summer breeze is a fruity smell that isn't giving me a headache like many other perfumes/scents do. I'm trying to rid a van of smoke and this has taken its place. I still smell smoke on the seats if I put my nose right up to them but otherwise I'm pretty impressed. It's only been a day though. Update: It's been about 3 weeks and the summer breeze scent is pretty faint and I can smell a bit of smoke coming back. The van has been outside in spring, temps ranging 60-80 degrees.

Miracle Worker

Unbelievable. I got a deal on a 2013 minivan. It was totally clean and beautiful, but it had a musty smell that would not quit. I tried everything from shampooing the interior and headliner to stuffing a little tree air freshener in the cabin filter. The smell would not go away and it was bad. After using this, it's 100% perfect. I can't believe it. I turned the car on, put the A/C on high recirc, closed the windows, and put the can on the backseat floor and hit the button. I let it run a little long as I became distracted with a phone call. But, after I aired it out by driving around with the windows down for a few minutes and then parked it, it smelled great. The next day, it was smelling great. I like the citrus scent too. It's been a week and it smells great. Unreal.

So fresh and so clean clean

I just bombed my truck with this stuff so I can't vouch for how long the scent is going to last. But I hope it sticks around for a while. The "new car" smell smells like a combination of cool water(cologne) and leather. Smells REALLY good to me. I followed the instructions to a t and had no issues. Smell is strong but not over powering. I'm one of those people that likes to open the doors and the vehicle smell good. While "bombing" it for the 1t minutes, you could definitely smell the fragrance from outside with everything closed up. I will buy this stuff again Even if I have to do it on a monthly basis. That's how much I like the way it smells!

Smells amazing, just AIR OUT YOUR VEHICLE

I took my car to a car wash around 5 years ago or so and have been looking for the scent they used ever since. Well, this is the smell. It smells so clean. It is a very potent, but not a sharp, smell. You HAVE to let you vehicle air out if you end up using the whole can like I did my first time. I didn't mind though. Clothes will smell a bit like it a few times, but it is a clean (mellow) smell. Now I just crack my window with the truck running and spray about a quarter of the can and touch it up as needed. After my first use, the smell lasted well over month before being harder to smell.
