HOLY CRAP they are bright
HOLY CRAP these things are bright. I replaced my old ones that came on my 2001 Tahoe. A rock destroyed the OEM ones. These mounted in the same area, using the same opening in my bumper. Easy to install, very durable. BRIGHT AS SH!^. I could go redneck and buy a light bar for the roof, but just not country enough, plus there is a thing called light pollution. I will be happy knowing that these guys are bright enough for the roads around here. They are great in the rain and snow. We had an incredible year in Nor-Cal this year, so these lights got wet. I didn't have any issues. And because they are so low, I didn't get any bright blinding reflection, just a well-lit road in all conditions. They white light makes everything visible WAY down the road.

Awesome fog or driving lights! :::I have other Nilight reviews as well::: [09/2018 6 month update]
18W 4" spot bars: Great lights. They pack some lumens for their size. Put them on my '02 Tacoma bumper as fog/driving lights wired in with my high beams. They're not Rigid or Baja but they are a small fraction of the cost. Will keep review updated over time. [09/18 update: Still going strong, the hardware is showing corrosion, lights working great.] I have used or tested and reviewed the following Nilight LED lights: –2PC 27W Round Flood: work ok, great price but the 18W 4" Flood bars throw and disperse light better and seem just as bright. –2PC 27W Round Spot: don't bother. Had them next to the 27W round floods and could not see any difference. –32" 180W Bar Spot Flood Combo (Double-row LED, Straight): so far it's awesome. great flood at sides and a great bright spot. awesome for the money. –2PC 18W 4" Flood Bar: work great. highly recommend for bright light for less than +-50 yards. –2PC 36w 6.5" Flood Bar: work ok, had a real bright "halo" effect to the light dispersement, I find for the money the 18W 4" flood bars disperse light better. We went with the 18W 4" flood bars over these for a 6x6 Polaris Ranger UTV. –2 piece NI18A-5 5.3" double-row Flood Bar: fairly bright broad flood dispersement, very flat wide beam, good for fog/driving lights. Seem just as bright as 36w 6" bars. If you ever get a Nilight sent to you that's missing any pieces or hardware just get in touch with Amazon or Nilight and they'll take care of it.

I was hopeful they would be of good quality. I was wrong
I was hopeful they would be of good quality. I was wrong. The Package was new and didn't appear to be used or opened. Upon initial inspection, the housing looked attractive and it appears that nothing was out of place. Once I got further into inspecting the items I noticed that one of the housings had a significant amount of paint chipped off. I decided to overlook that and figured that I can protect that exposed metal with some paint. No biggie. Once I decided to attach the mounting bracket to the actual lights is where the problems began. Each light has a piece of aluminum that acts as a post in which the brackets attaches to. They appeared to be normal. I take each of the bolts and decide to test fit (by hand) for depth and thread At least 3 of the bolts didn't make it 2mm into the hole before I began to feel resistance. Great!! Problems already. I take it a step further and decide to attach the mounting bracket with the bolts and washer thinking that perhaps I needed a tool. The tool didn't help, the bolts were damaged, and the holes were damaged. The mounting hardware remained wobbly and loose. At that point, I decided to process for a return. I am going to order the same lights again in hopes of getting a good batch. If those turn out better, I'll update this review. For now, it stays at 1 star! 6/4/2018 UPDATE: Return was processed without a problem! The lights work amazing. They’ve outlasted the relay I connected them with.

BEST PURCHASE YOU CAN MAKE FOR YOUR JEEP WRANGLER
I'm giving these lights 5 stars because for the price they are def the best item yet that I bought from Amazon and I've bought a lot of items from Amazon. The built feels like $200 lights and they are more brighter then my current HID head lights. The truck needs no more lights after these Really happy with the product. Way better then expensive brands but remember you have to buy brackets and wiring

Amazingly Bright & Well Made For The Price
These lights are pretty darn great. I read another review where a guy did a lumens test with special equipment, and he said they were less than the advertised lumens...Well even if that's true, who cares! They're CHEAP. They're well made. Heavy solid aluminum. Very bright. I put them on my 1996 Dakota under the front bumper, and what a differience! Potholes & bad roads & debris are lit up like Christmas! I drive 120miles round trip to pick up my son every 2 weeks for visitation, sometimes more often, and there's lots of really dark and dangerous stretches of highway that used to stress me out. And even if I put my high beams on that didn't help me see what was directly in front of me, or help see the edges of the lanes better. But these things make a friggin' WORLD of difference. I've included pictures of with them not on, and with them turned on for comparison. I want a second set for the rear bumper for reversing. For the price I don't see a downside. As per another review I screwed down the hex bolts on the left and right to seal it up better against water getting in, and I'm going to add some clear caulking around where the wires go in, maybe even open up the sides and add a little there like a gasket sealer. But that's just preventative. It's rained on them a few times already and no problems with water getting inside. I did add large 1-1/2inch washers to the top and bottom, so the small surface area of the brackets, and the small top nut & locking washer, would be more stable against wobbling around on rough bumps. Especially since I was securing them to the plastic attachment under my steel bumper. I put them closer toward the license plate where the plastic was thicker, and it still lights up the road just fine. I can't speak highly enough about these. Even if they die on me in a year...they're so cheap I'll just buy another set. Heck I'll probably buy another set just in case one or both get busted by road hazards. The pictures speak for themselves, but had to express my satisfaction with these lights. Buy with confidence. I bought the $8.99 wiring harness and it was also high quality for so cheap.

Great little lights, and TWO as described!
I just wanted to give an update as of 8-6-2014. I read many one star reviews reporting that only one light was received contrary to the advertised two. I received TWO lights in my order, so I am assuming this issue has been resolved. That being said, I was cautious. Since the price was so reasonable I placed an order for TWO units. I was happy when I received four lights. I installed these as spot/docking lights on the front of a bass boat. They are incredibly bright and built quite well. I am overjoyed with them! I have two 20W KC LED cubes on my truck and after paying $250 for that pair, it makes these 18W CREE lights the bargain of the century. I think the two could hang with each other any day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone!

These are great! I added clear silicone to the front all ...
These are great! I added clear silicone to the front all the way around where the glass meets the metal. The power draw from these is low enough that I was able to order 2 sets (of 2) and add 1 set (2 lights) per side and use the factory fog light harness on my 2004 Ford F150 FX4 that was powering a 75 watt halogen bulb per side (Per LED light you have only a 1.5 amp draw. So 1.5 Amps = 18 watts divided by 12 volts ...= 3 amps per side for a total of 6 amp draw on the factory harness) So I pulled out the factory fogs and after some dremeling and drilling I was able to fit these into the factory brackets. As of this review I have been running them for three months through all weather with no issues. Photo 3 shows low beams with 2 sets of these lights and one Led Light Bar, Senlips 20inch 126W CREE LEDS Flood Spot Combo Beam Led Bar Light Bar Driving Fog Light IP 67 Waterproof for Off-road Vehicle, ATV, SUV, UTV, 4WD, Jeep, Boat- Black which I am also very happy with.

Very bright, easily installed for replacement lights and hold up to extreme -10 degrees
I bought these to replace my fog lights on my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee, yeah, she's an oldie but she purrs like lion😊. A late night mishap tore the bumper off and the old lamps broke. Using the supplied mounts I drilled a 5/8 inch hole directly into the exposed metal bumper, sealed up the exposed metal with primer and paint and installed these. I used my existing wiring and they were installed in less than an hour all said and done. Not bad since it was my first install. O installed these during an unusually warm day we had this past week (Jan. '18), with rain and plenty of dense fog in the mountains, these lit up the road. You may have to adjust the direction so you don't get to much reflection from fog or snow. Brighter than the high beams, I absolutely love these and a tenth the cost of other fog lights for the jeep. I plan on buying another set for car with the rocker switch. I'm even considering a pair for reverse lights on the jeep. They have so far been through rain and now sub zero temps. Construction seems to be good and they appear to hold up to the weather we have in upstate NY. They have only been on a few days, so I'll report back in a couple of months of use. Thinking and hoping they are going to last a few seasons. They haven't been off road yet, so we'll see how they handle the backwoods and mud.

Bright and narrow beam-good off road spots
I ordered a different NiLight brand light and mounted it on the windshield post. I swapped them out for these since these are very directional, like a spotlight, which is what I wanted for off-road lighting. These are well built and easy to install. I have them on a Jeep JK and does not create any whistling at highway speeds.

Awesome lights, definitely exceeded expectations
Awesome lights, definitely exceeded expectations! I mounted them to a BMW R1200GS motorcycle, on a mounting-bar that at $50 cost almost twice what the lights did! Can't beat that for a low-cost option, and I get compliments all the time for how attention-getting these lights are. They're a definite plus for conspicuity, and as a result I often get asked to be the tail rider on group-rides. Even the lead rider can see me back there in the mirrors. They also do great job of improving things at night, punching a good bright hole in the darkness. These are spot-beam though, so aim them carefully and don't try to light up your entire field of vision with them. One small gripe, the cable comes out of each housing on the same end, which means the end close to the bike on one side and the end farther from the bike on the other side- but as both cables are tied to the mounting-bar, it's not that obvious and even I usually fail to notice despite knowing about it.
