Great tasting fun gift set!

I bought this for my husband who loves hot sauce. I haven’t found a hot sauce that was too hot for him yet (including this set). That being said even though he said only The Antidote was a little spicy, we both agree they all have good flavor. My favorite is the Cajun Zombie. I don’t use as much as my husband does (you can’t see anything but his hot sauce on his food) but I really liked it, a little heat, awesome flavor. I just finished eating with the Cajun Zombie and a few minutes later I still have a little bit of tingling on my tongue but it’s not something that had me reaching for the milk while eating. It’s just a good tasting hot sauce. Adding I had to stop my mom from taking a bite of my pasta because she thinks hot dogs are spicy. 😁 She would have been burning forever from it.

Must Try This Sauce!!

I bought this hot sauce for my dad for Christmas as he is a HUGE hot sauce fan. He absolutely loved this set of sauces, he mentioned that the 'zombie cajun' sauce was his favorite. I have seen him use all of the sauces for a few different things, he puts it on hamburgers, in his chili, and he even loves to just eat it with tortilla chips. I'm happy that I was able to find this sauce because of how much he likes it. He said that they are all super flavorful and they are the perfect temperature (not too hot where you can't taste anything but spicy, but also, no too mild where it's just boring). All in all this sauce is an absolute hit!!

Worth it for the Lagniappe alone!

I enjoyed the Zombie Cajun sauce as well as "The Antidote" however I felt neither were particularly unique in anyway, I've had plenty of similar sauces for cheaper. Personally I feel that the dual protection could use a much stronger hit of garlic than I got. I'd love to see like an extreme version of it as I love garlic almost as much as hot sauce itself. Preferably with like a dissolved garlic hit, nothing powdered or bits just a strong garlic flavor in the liquid. It'd be amazing! However I totally love the Lagniappe sauce especially for pizza I'll probably be buying this stuff on a regular basis! I thought the packaging was nice and the book is cute considering it came free with the package. A few of the recipes around the site with the sauce are interesting.

A must have, endless possibilities.

Being a hot sauce freak and many years in Louisiana, I find these hot sauces a must have. I received these as a gift from my wife for Christmas. One of the bottles had leaked inside the package and the customer service immediately sent a replacement. I have since tried all the hot sauces and they are unique in their own way. First they are stored in plastic bottles. This is a nice change from traditional hot sauces. The garlic sauce packs some real flavor and can be put on almost anything. The Lagniappe and Cajun has real Nawlins Flavor. I put both on a shrimp Po boy and it really brought out the flavor. I used them both a different times on various Cajun Entrées. The Antidote is hot. Go easy at first. It may not seem too hot in the beginning, but it will sneak up on you. Although a lot of heat, it packs flavor. I don’t normally leave reviews on hot sauces but these are worth leaving a review for. I find that all the sauces go with just about anything. I put them on meats just before I put them in the smoker. Endless possibilities with these.

Ok, I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to do so for this product. I consider myself somewhat a connoisseur of Louisiana-style hot sauces, not that I try a thousand different sauces a week, but in that I am very picky when it comes to my hot sauce. I discovered LA-style sauces in my quest for my own Buffalo Wing recipe and I've been a Red Hot fan for quite some time. I decided to give these sauces a try because of the novelty and because I thought it would be a fun way to try something new. Boy, was I surprised! Now, let me begin by saying that if you're looking for something to melt your tongue to the roof of your mouth, you should probably look elsewhere. There are datil pepper, ghost pepper, thai pepper, habanero pepper, and other sauces you can find simply for heat. These sauces are all about flavor and they do it well. The original sauce is, in my humble opinion, the perfect blend of flavor and heat for general use on just about anything. We put it on pizza, chicken, mac n' cheese, in salads, you name it. It has enough heat to give your tongue a tingle, but not so much that it dulls the sense of taste. I like heat, but for my needs, it's the perfect general use sauce. The garlic sauce gives a garlic flair to the original sauce, which twists the flavor just enough to make it a good addition to salads and pretty much anything you would normally put the original on. The garlic isn't overwhelming but it adds a nice zest and is especially good on pizza! The lagniappe has a unique flavor. I haven't had the chance to use it a lot so far, but I am particularly intrigued by the one-of-a-kind flavor this sauce brings: if you hate it, find someone who likes it; if you like it, this is the only place you can get it. Because of its unique-ness, I think it is an absolutely excellent addition to this pack. Finally, the antidote. For those who want all the flavor and extra heat, this is the perfect sauce for you. The heat is not overwhelming... again, it will not numb your taste buds. But trust me, that's a good thing, because you WANT to taste this sauce! To summarize, the sauces are excellent and a great variety to fit just about any need. The packaging is entertaining and ties the sauces with the unique "zombie" theme together really well. These are thin, Louisiana-style sauces with an excellent flavor palette and would make a perfect accessory for any kitchen or BBQ grill!

Hot for this set of hot sauces

I got this set as a Christmas gift for my brother who is a hot sauce devotee... The moment he saw what it was, his eyes lit up like the Christmas lights on the tree... It send he knew the sauce, as he'd seen it featured on a TV program somewhere. I checked in with him last week and he'd had a chance to use one of the sauces on some wings. Needless to say, he was thrilled and overjoyed in a way only a crazy hot sauce lover can be! I'm totally grateful to you guys for putting this set together and at such a great price. You made the giver and the receiver both very happy!!

Fantastic all the way around!!!

I decided to get this for my staff as we go through a ton of hot sauce in the office. I chose this for a couple reasons. 1) The packaging is great. Well thought out. And you get a storybook. Nice addition. 2) The price for 4 bottles is great. You can't beat getting 4 flavors anywhere for what I paid. We've tried them all and can't say enough about how amazing the flavors are. The Antidote is the hottest but not kill your mouth for hours hot. It packs a nice punch. Lagniappe has a BBQ taste to it. Smokey goodness. The Garlic is milder but provides great flavor to any food. And the Zombie Cajun is akin to Franks but way better. All of them will make your mouth tingle on some level. Lastly, this is a family run business. Made in the US. The owner personally reached out to me to make sure that everything was ok with the order and the sauce. Service like that you can barely find in this day and age. Over all, two thumbs up!

This is a great gift for hotsauce lovers

This is a great gift for hotsauce lovers! Bear in mind that three of the varieties (original, garlic, and Lagniappe) are fairly mild in terms of heat, but the flavor is excellent. Unlike some hot sauces these taste like more than just vinegar. The Lagniappe is smokey and a bit thicker than the other sauces. It adds a nice burst of peppery flavor and just a hint of spice. The Garlic (Dual Protection) is just garlicky enough to add some different flavors to food without being overwhelming. It melds well even with foods like white pizza that already contain garlic. The original Zombie Cajun Hot Sauce is a solid, all-purpose hot sauce for any foods that need a little extra spice and a lot of extra flavor. It's not overwhelming, and melds with foods rather than overpowering them. The Antidote is, as advertised, quite hot. The heat tends to build the longer it sits in your mouth, so while it may initially seem mild it soon brings the heat! Like the rest of the sauces, it's not overpowering despite the spice. Overall I am extremely pleased with this set of sauces, as is my fiance (who this was purchased for).

Great gift for the hot sauce lover

These hot sauces are a best seller for a reason - they are DELICIOUS. I absolutely love these hot sauces. If you are not sure about investing nearly $30 for hot sauce, I recommend making the plunge. It will make a drastic difference in the taste, in the best way possible. The containers are a little on the small side but you don't need much to get full flavor. This is also a wonderful company to order from. The founder genuinely cares about what customers think about his product.

Zombies never tasted so Good....

This hot sauce is fantastic - My wife and I regularly pick up a new hot sauce when we see it on the store shelf, and usually end up some what disappointed. I saw the other reviews for this on amazon and figured with 4 flavors let's give it a try - and I am so glad that I did -- the 4 varieties are different enough, that its hard to pick which one to use each night - we have been using it on pizza, egg whites, in soups, pretty much anything that I would have used another hot sauce for, and it has even replaced our staple hot sauces like Sriracha and Red Hot. The Lagniappe has a mild heat, but an amazing flavor - I love it on my eggs in the morning or times when I want the great flavor but I am not looking to amp up the heat -- the Cajun and Cajun Garlic have a decent kick - one with a more traditional flavor, the garlic enhances that with a nice garlic flavor - I personally like that on pizza or pastas, where the added garlic is nice -- then for the bold real hot sauce consumer - you have the antidote. It is hot - it sneaks up on you a bit, the first couple of seconds you can taste the great flavor, followed by that sweet burn - a burn that will send the weak of heart and palate to the fridge for a large glass of milk, followed by a half hour of whining. My wife considers herself a pro when it comes to taking the hot sauce heat in stride, and this one she has to be careful with not to add to much depending on how much heat she is trying to get - myself, I like a hot hot sauce, and this fits the bill when that is what I am looking for - a few drops to a soup or chili and its perfect. I will be buying this on a regular basis for my pantry
