Life is so much better with a mechanical docking station - it's a shame they seem to be going out of fashion. Got this one from a used seller, for $40, and it's a great value. Just know that if you have two monitors, they will be on different connection types, as one of them HAS to be VGA (analog), meaning the second one can be either DVI or DP (digital).

Just received it and setup on coworker's laptop right away. The original T460 has only 1 HDMI port but nothing else so doing multiple monitor became a headache, this totally helped to resolve the issue. It came with DVI, displayport, and VGA respectively, basically if I want to I can make 3 outputs to monitors. It also comes with USB ports, so basically you can plug everything onto the docking, and when you need to bring your laptop with you simply detach it form the docking without unplugging anything. Docking comes with a fool proof lock just in case if you have it locked at a dedicated location with your laptop on it, your laptop will not get stolen. A very thoughtful design from Lenovo overall.

Perfect fit well worth the money! the cable type docks are a pain in the butt.

This works great for me! I plugged in 2 monitors, keyboard, & mouse and everything worked flawlessly. Makes it so much easier when I work from home now. I just pop my laptop in and I'm good to go!

The description of the product was precise -- there was no confusion or doubt that this was the correct product. I purchased this unit to use at home with my office provided laptop -- which saves me the trouble of hooking up to the power, 2 monitors, wired internet connection, and a wireless keyboard / mouse combo. Yes, it comes with the power supply.

I have several of these documentations for myself and my staff. They work great! While you can hook up multiple monitors to the included ports, we have found that the Lenovo is inconsistent with recognizing them -- get yourself 1 big monitor instead.

I love this dock. It really makes taking my laptop a piece of cake. You just hit the release button and go. I have my monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse and more hooked up to it. When I return to my office I just pop the laptop back in the dock and I am ready to go. I especially love that I don't have to open the laptop once it is docked. There is even a power button for the laptop on the dock. Super simple and awesome!

This worked perfectly with my Lenovo T540p. There was no setup or drivers needing to be installed for this to work right out of the box. I connected my monitor, keyboard and mouse and got right to work. Unexpectedly easy to set up.

This is awesome! All of my devices hook up to the ports in the back. My laptop is secure at all times. If I need to grab my computer and head out for the day, the one touch button releases my machine and I am out the door! Great buy, no regrets! Several of my colleagues have a docking station and they love them! Get yourself one!

I have used several brands of computer docks over the years. This is the best yet. In addition to lots of connectivity, it has a tiny footprint and a very solid, self-guiding "snap in" procedure. The aesthetics and build quality are really outstanding, making my previous (slightly less expensive) HP docks feel cheap. I am so pleased with it, that I bought a second dock for my home office, so I can take the notebook computer back and forth using identical setups in home and work locations.
