Dad and Car VS. Son

Bought this for my 17month old son. Yo this thing is awesome. I drive it around and he chases it. It runs on 2 AA's for the car and its still going after almost a month on 2 batteries in the car. The remote requires 1 AA. And same goes for the remote. My son has now torn the plastic sheating off of the antenna on the car and even the wire underneath is bent in a way so I don't think it would puncture the skin. I am still comfortable letting him play with it. The only feature I would alter is the ability to turn down the volume of the noises the car makes. It starts to get annoying when he bonks the driver on the head and the car yells "VROOM VROOOOOM". Hence why I drive the car away from the boy. When you think about it though. I hate the noise because I'm keeping score if he gets it he wins. If I keep it away from him I'm winnin. Lol. But hey it's a fun toy.

Great toy

Probably one of my 3 year old favorite. Easy enough for him to manage and drive and doesn't break easily. Has had for months. My dog likes chasing it too so it entertains them both!

Fun first remote controlled car!

Wonderful gift! This car is so easy to work as there are only two buttons. My one year old has figured it out and giggles while it soars backwards in circles. It's surprisingly off-road-able! It can climb over light blankets and other thin things on the ground. This requires batteries so don't forget them!!! They were easy to install (once purchased!). The bright colors are fun and the music/lights are wonderful. It's a little on the loud side, but bearable. The race car driver makes noise when you click him into place... This makes my son laugh.

Great Product for the Little One who likes BIG THINGS!

This was an excellent gift for our 2 yr old Grandson for Christmas. He loves race cars and R/C. This was perfect for little guys. Now, if he can learn to steer he'll be doing great!! Thanks for this great product for little hands! -his Mimi.

Great toy for Child and Parents!!

This is an AWESOME toy for child and parents alike! So much interaction with them both you cannot get over the fun!! Well built toy and the source that I got it from are very professional GREAT store!! Yeah!!

AWESOME toy for the price!

From the looks of other reviews, it sounds like there are different versions out there, but the one we received is AWESOME. The car required 3 AA batteries and the controller needs 2 AA batteries. The car has a removable driver and when you put him in the seat, It goes "VROOM VROOM" in a little boy's voice. When you push the steering wheel, it makes a start-up engine sound. The best part is there is also a button on the car that plays a little Latin-like song and makes the headlights flash! Someone else posted that it makes annoying music when you drive it but ours doesn't. It only plays music when you push the button on it. The car goes great on tile or carpet. Our 11-month-old loves to chase it and play with the little driver. What else could you ask for for the price! An added bonus: The box has the most amazing English-from-Chinese translations!

AAWWWWEESOMMMMMEE its a 10!

I bought this as a gift for my 11 month old during Christmas and it was AAAAAWWWWEEEEEESOMMMMMMMEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's fast, it's accurate, it's easy steering, it makes my son laugh and clap his hands when the music comes on. Sometimes he likes to pull the little blue guy off and carry it with him or chew on his hard plastic head. The remote only has two buttons but that's all you need. It easily and accurately turns around with no problem. I honestly did not have high expectations for this product at all since it was made for very young babies. I just thought it would be a cute little toy for him to have since his older brother was getting a big boy remote control truck. However, when I opened this up for my baby son and added batteries, it took him maybe 10 minutes to under stand the concept and after that he LOVED it! The box says for 18 months and up but like I said my 11 month old plays with this toy for long periods of time through out the day. We even take it outside and have fun with it with his big brothers. He was seriously amazed how the controller moved the car. I am amazed at the great quality this toy is made. There are push buttons on the car that truly entertain my son. This is an all around great product. A must buy for your toddler/baby!!!

Don't pass this one up!

Absolutely amazing and durable. My son is now 15 months and has played with this for several months now. Doesn't quite have it down but he loves it. He's also thrown it, dropped it, chewed it and this thing is still going just as strong as it did fresh out of the box. Everything that you'd expect to maybe come apart or fall off or be a hazard isn't the case. Even the antenna caps are screwed on. After my son put this through the wringer I can't do anything but recommend this toy.

One tough little car

I read some other reviews before buying this remote control race car and they were not so good. Several said that the music was to loud and that the car would not run without the music playing. The car I got is not this way. The music only plays if the button on the car is pushed and if the button is pushed again the music shuts off, but the remote still controls the car regardless of if music is playing or not. This little car is awesome! The remote works even in another room (door shut) than where the car is. I'm shocked that it has such good reach for a cheap little kids toy. There are only 2 buttons on the remote. The forward button goes straight forward and the reverse button goes in a circular reverse, making it very easy for my 2 year old to turn around or get unstuck when the car hits a wall or corner. This car has been driven down stairs and carried around by the antana. The antana' from the car and from the remote have both been chewed on (as 2 year olds do) and it's still looking and working great. Very good remote control race car in my opinion. I'm impressed.

Perfect for toddlers!

Your race car for toddlers was the hit of the party! Everybody wanted a turn! The controls are simple and easy for toddler hands to use. My great granddaughter had her third birthday this month! She had no problem operating her car!
