Great quality as always from NOCO

Recently I bought a tire compressor and it works great through the cigarette lighter. In addition to the cigarette lighter option I also wanted to power it through the car battery as an alternative option. Since I have several NOCO products and am completely Satisfied their quality I bought this battery adapter. It’s solid, nicely insulated and comes with the 15A fuse installed. Cord length could be longer but I gUess it’s a strategy to sell the NOCO extension. Overall great product. Highly recommended!

Don't blow your car fuses

It works. Built-fuse is easier to replace than a fuse for your car. If you've ever used an air-compressor from your CLA [cigarette lighter adapter], you've probably had the experience of consulting your manual to replace the fuse that may have taken out half the lights on your dash and rendered your car charger unworkable. Connecting a 12V battery directly keeps your car fuses intact allowing for quick, reliable direct connection. AND it's nice to turn any battery into a car charger as needed.

Amazing! Every MC needs this for air compressor!

If you carry an air compressor but cannot use it because you blow the fuse from the auxiliary DC jack, buy this battery DC jack now! You bypass the motorcycle dc jack dc fuse and use the mc battery directly! I was able to use my mc battery and air compressor to fill up both the front and rear tires in less than 5 mins! Before, I had to use my car DC jack to power the air compressor. No more! Also, no more tossing a coin to see if a gas station air compressor is working. Now I know I will be ready to fill my mc and my riding partner(s)' tires anywhere and anytime!

Outstanding quality and great price

It is hard to get excited about a 12V battery clamp extension socket, but I've got to say this one is fantastic and for my use is perfect. I needed a 12 volt adapter that I could use with my vehicle air compressor. I wanted to connect it directly to the battery since it draws up to 15A and my in vehicle 12V outlet is only rated at 10A. I didn't want to blow a fuse by plugging it into the in vehicle outlet. This plug socket adapter is the perfect item, it is small enough to fit into the bag with the compressor, comes with a 15A inline fuse and the battery clamps open wide enough to clamp over my battery terminals. Great price for a great product.

Works great to extend portable air pump reach.

Works great to extend portable air pump reach. I could not get my portable air pump to reach my trailer tire from the truck lighter socket. This adapter plus a set of jumper cables did the trick. Connect the jumper cables to the battery and this adapter to the cables and you can reach trailer tires without disconnecting.

Heavy duty

I bought a plug socket adapter then a separate inline fuse holder (plug socket did not have fuse holder built in) from Walmart and spent more on those 2 items than on this item. I am returning the Walmart purchase because the build quality of this item is MUCH much better. And it is almost $2 cheaper and I do not have to splice in the fuse holder.

Very handy.

I've used this adapter for many different needs. From running my telescope mount to running a CPAP off of a marine battery. The socket holds plugs securely and the battery clamps don't slip once in place. I like that the terminal clamps are color coded. Although the leads could be longer for some things, being as short as they are is actually nice because it prevents tangles and makes for easy storage.

Omg....what a simple invention!

I love these clamps! They add a whole new usefulness to my air compressor and really anything you'd normally plug into your car. You dont always have to run your cord through a window or door to reach a front tire or anything else. Also allows things to be used on a stand alone battery or with an ATV that has no 12v plug. Perfect perfect perfect!

sturdy, which is a huge plus

I bought this for the alligator clamps. So many of the plugs sold for solar have tiny little clamps which aren't going to deliver the juice. These are large and sturdy, and have worked well with our small solar recharging station.

A must have adapter!

This worked fantastic for what I needed. I purchased a 12 volt to 110 adapter that plugs into my cig lighter (remember those?) to inflate an EZ Bed Mattress for camping. Unfortunately, my cig lighter was so old, it no longer works. So, I bought this Noco adapter with battery clamp to attach to my battery, then my 12 volt to 110 adapter plugged into the other end. Worked like a charm!! I was so happy! And, we were able to use this Noco adapter for other items we brought for camping too. Love it!
