We love to eat crab legs every once in a while, and were seriously struggling getting the meat out of those thick claws. We actually ruined several forks before we got this set. It really is perfect for breaking up the thick shell and reaching the meat. I would really recommend getting this set if you eat seafood often- makes life so much easier. The tools are really sturdy and good quality - even better than we've seen at seafood restaurants. I really is a good purchase.

Nice set. It works as it should and was not very expensive. With the Crab legs in Publix at $7.99 a pound I was crazy to bring them home. This set works fine even in the little pieces. I would recommend it.

The right tool for the job

So we've only had this set for a few days now but have used them 3 times already. The crackers are well built and work perfectly to crack open the Alaskan crab legs we've been eating. These crab legs can have sharp spikes on them and so cracking them with your hands can be a bit difficult. This set made quick work of the shells and provided a simple way of getting to the meat. The package it came in was just a cardboard box, so if you plan to give this set as a gift be ready to wrap it up. I recommend this set if you eat seafood often, it will make the experience that much better.

Size, Weight, Strength, Price All Work for Me

I anticipated paying a lot more than this for a nutcracker. I was afraid that it would be too flimsy to work at that price but they crack my walnuts and pecans with no problems. I gave the extra set to my brothers and it works for them also.

A lobster has no chance with these

Finally we can have a great lobster meal when they are on sale! These crack the shell and the picks are perfect for getting small pieces out.

This tool is well made and gets the job done. It is nice that you can crack both small (hazel nuts) and larger (pecan/walnuts). You have to use both hands to sometimes crack a stubborn shell, but overall...I would highly recommend. Shipping was fast also!!!

Did exactly what it was purchased for

We only had one use so far, but with that one use, they stood up to all that we needed it to do. They were a very fair price and I would definitely order these again.
