We bought a larger set of these pots and pans 4 months ago and have not had any problems with them. We use them on a daily basis. I needed another pot of this size and I'm happy that I found it so reasonably priced. I use them on a gas stove top. Before purchasing the set, many reviewers gave a warning to not use high heat with these pots because of the induction properties. Follow their advice. I haven't experienced any burning, discoloring, or any problems with only using low to medium heat. They still look new. Cleaning the pots have not been an issue, sometimes it takes a little more effort, but that depends on what I've made. I highly recommend this brand and if I need more in the future, it will definitely be the Duxtop.

Well it is made in China. As an American, I've been disapointed in Chinese stuff, but not this time! Keep in mind I've only used it a couple times for popcorn and that has to be hot, so it's a good test. I have a induction stove and this works fine. It's a beautiful pot and lid. I expected to ship it back, but I really like it. Really, who ever designed the way it looks did a great job. Very heavy. I like that, my popcorn doesn't burn so easy, stays hot for 10 mins! I will write again after a couple months for durability . So far, so very good. Maybe China is catching up? I'm still very happy after a few months. Very happy!

Finally got an induction cooktop, but my old 1973 stainless steel waterless cookware wasn't up to snuff. The magnets didn't work well on them. I love this set of cookware. It heats up so quickly on the cooktop and cooks everything evenly. Since I was used to cleaning my old cookware, I knew that Bar Keeper's Friend was the best way to clean any oxidation (like when you cook things with lots of liquid content). (Old person's comment: I used to use Kleen King Stainless Steel cleaner, but they don't make that anymore. This "new" stuff works just as good). Putting these in the dishwasher cleans up stuck on food, but if you want a super shiny, clean, practically new, finish, use the elbow grease method. As a long time hater of hand washing dishes, believe me when I say clean up is quick using Bar Keeper's. I loved the set so much, I bought this 2.5 quart saucepan on the side.

I bought an induction hot plate several years ago with a set of pots and pans from the same manufacturer. Sad face. Pans passed the magnet test or so it seemed. Then I went through a series of "induction ready" (some expensive). More magnets, more sad face. I was about to give up on the induction idea. Gee whiz modern technology my eye. Then I tried a Duxtop saucepan (1.6 quart). Works great, really great. I've had it over a year and a half, almost daily use, blue non-scratch scrubbers, finish still looks brand new. But appearance is a minor thing. The inside has markings to show volume which is a nifty feature. There are never any hot spots due to the heavy bottom which is great since I suspect the cooktop may not be even. I recently bought a Duxtop sauté pan which I am just as pleased with. As you can see by the build up I've already used it a lot, often at high heat. This casserole is my third purchase. Each time I've bought a pan.I'll received an email urging me to contact the manufacturer for ANY problem PLUS how to contact Amazon. How's that for service and confidence? I've owned some of the more expensive anodized and stainless cook wares in the past. This stuff is equal or better than all of them. I will buy more when I can. Their prices make that possible as my circumstances have changed. I've bought hundreds of items through Amazon down through the years, very seldom do I post a review. I expect things to meet expectation with no need to comment. And I don't complain when they fail. Like the old ad said, "Try it, you'll like it."

This has got to be one of the best pots I have ever bought. I try to buy the best cookware I can for the money, which does not mean the most expensive, and I have pots that I've owned for more than 40 yrs. I even have pots and pans my mother bought in 1963 that are still like new. This pot will be one that my granddaughter will inherit and I expect she will be able to pass it down when the time comes. It is a nice weight, heavy but not overly so. Easy to clean. Even heating.Holds heat well. Very well made. Overall a wonderful pot that is well worth the price and then some.

I used to own a full set of All Clad, and these pans compare extremely favorably to them. Good, satisfying heft. Comfortable handles. The impact bonding holds the heat and distributes it very evenly, so you can predict how the food will react to the heat setting on your stove. Clean up is easy. For tough, stuck-on food, I just deglaze the pan, and it's a snap. And stainless consistently outperforms nonstick, every time, except for eggs and fish. (That's why most professional kitchens only have one non-stick frying pan.)

Pro: perfect sized pot! Cleans easily as long as you respect the cooking temperature. I’m relearning using stainless steel cookware. Low and slow works perfectly. The two handles are perfect. Works great in the oven too. Cons: concerned with the glass lid. It continuously makes tinkling sounds while cooking or when set aside on a cooler surface. I wonder if it may break at some point. Thus, I didn’t rate durability. We will have to see if the lid holds out.

I ordered this to use with a new Duxtop induction cook top, to see how I liked induction cooking. This little pot, when used with the induction cook top, boils water lightning fast and works great! It's perfect for boiled-water cooking, like pasta and boiled eggs, and seems to be very well-made and high-quality. Also great for sauces, and it works really well on my standard electric cook top as well. I haven't used it much for other types of cooking yet, but I suspect I'll need to monitor temperature very carefully until I get the "knack" of using an induction cook top. It seems to get really HOT very quickly, care must be used not to over-heat. However, this pot's built-in bottom insert seems to really help in this regard, it's much less prone to over-heating on induction heat than thinner stainless cookware (like my old Lustre Craft). Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this pot for both electric and induction cooking, and it will probably work great with gas too.

It's so beautiful, I gasped! Just stunning. I fell in love with it's gleaming, shiny appearance like love at first sight. Only one other time did I feel like ths with a cooking vessel and that was with my Instant Pot. I primarily use my Instant Pot or cast iron but wanted one stainless steel pan, and originally thought I'd get the saucepan with the handle. I'm glad I didn't. I don't really have room to accommodate anything with a handle, so this was the best option. It's the perfect size; sturdy; glisteningly beautiful (did I mention that? LOL) and I love how the lid fits. I've only made one thing in it so far - hot cereal - but am looking forward to many things. The only possible 'negative' would be that the rim of the pot can possibly be sharp enough to cut your finger, so be aware that it does not have the usual rolled edge. Because I am aware of it, I'm not concerned, but a new cook, or one new to the pot might overlook it and it *could possibly* be sharp. I really love this pot and look forward to any excuse to use it. :)

We bought an induction stove 3 years ago, and knew nothing about it other than we had to buy new pans. We bought a set of Cuisinart which we have used, and abused as we cook all the time. We definitely got our monies worth from the Cuisinart, but this time we wanted something with a bit better quality. I used this set of Duxtop Professional Stainless Steel Cookware over Thanksgiving in another home, and I was extremely impressed. These are truly built for induction. Since I liked them so much I invested in a set of my own. Wow, what a huge difference. They cook evenly and quickly. Normally I would have my burner on 5 and now I can pretty much cook between 2 and 4. It's amazing what a difference with a good set of cookware. They are heavy so you do have to get used to that especially when you are going to tip them to put the food onto a plate or bowl. You do have to be very careful. Cleanup is extremely easy. I do use an SOS pad on occasion, but that's usually because I left the pan overnight without rinsing it out. Would I recommend this cookware? Absolutely with no questions asked. Happy cooking!
