THESE WORK ON A 2002!!
Looked all over for dust shields for my 2002 Dodge 2500. You can find NOS but they run about $50 each which is a rip off. I wrote the company that makes these and asked if they would work on a 2002 and they said no. Others have said they worked on the 2002 and I took a chance and ordered these and they fit perfect. The shield is about 1/2 inch taller but it is not an issue. My truck has the Dana 60 front end. I'm not sure why they tell you these don't work on the earlier trucks but here is a picture of mine. It has worked flawlessly with no modifications needed.

Works great except 1 minor problem
Easy to install on 2006 ram 2500. I do have a recommendation. I noticed the slot where and sensor goes through, was very sharp. After I stalling new wheel bearings and abs sensors, 1 day later my abs light came on. I checked the sensor and it had a slice in it due to the sharp edge on the dust cover slot. It was shorting the sensor out and throwing my light on. I went to auto parts store and bought high temp gasket maker and put it on the slice as well as put some along that sharp edge. Let it dry, reset abs light. 3 weeks later and may miles later, no abs light still works.

Works for 2nd gen with no mods
To confirm, these work on 2nd gen trucks. I have A 2001 ram diesel 4wd 4wheel abs with Dana 60 front axle and these worked perfect with no modifications. Not sure why they list the earliest year as 2003 because I can confirm that they work on a 2001. Very happy with them. Also I’m not certain but I had two failed abs sensors after I ripped the old rusty ones off. I suspect these are required to block heat in the rotors from damaging the sensors. Highly recommend putting these on versus just ripping the old ones off.

Lifetime warranty
Great product at an unbeatable price. Replaced the dust shields perfectly on my 2003 Dodge 3500 4wd. Have a slot for the abs sensor just like the original. See the pictures where I compare them side by side with the old dust shield. Also they are powder coated (unlike the originals) and have a dorman lifetime warranty - see pics.

Still better than my old shredded ones and I will modify ...
Top quality product but they are not for my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Dana 60 (My fault crossing over Part numbers from another site). Has an extra tab that prevents them from sitting flush. Must be for a newer style Ram. Still better than my old shredded ones and I will modify to make them work. One could either bend the tab or cut it off still about a third of the price than if I went to a parts house.

Good product
Much better than trying to use old shields, not sure how well they'll hold up, but they do come with a lifetime corrosion warranty

For my 07 dodge. Seem like quality covers.
Haven’t installed them yet but both look pretty solid and good finish. For my 07 dodge 3500 front.

They fit a 2nd gen
These will fit a second gen 3500 2001 you will need to cut a tab off for the abs sensor.

Great replacement dust shield for Dodge Ram
This product was an exact replacement for my factory dust shields. The factory ones didn’t make through the wheel bearing change out. Would buy these again!
