This tip looks great and installs easy(10mm). Make sure you tighten the bolts down tight, because its a heavy tip. Fits my 2.5 inch exhaust fine. As for sound I don't know about stock exhaust, but I have a 3" flow tech afterburner muffler that's reduced to a 2.5" outlet and it definitely made a difference in sound. Lower, smoother growl when shifting gears. It does sound the best at higher RPM's in my truck (2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7L 6-speed manual). Highly recommended! Don't be fooled by the picture its flat black not high gloss. (plastic wrap)

Had to give it a 5 because it's a good product for 20$, but zero sound difference. I've bought tips before that changed the sound a bit but all exhaust systems are different.

Looks Good and Stays Put.......

This is an attractive way to direct the exhaust away from the underside of the truck. I can't detect any change in the exhaust note either, which is probably a good thing. This was a good fit for my 2.5" tail pipe and it's on there rock solid, didn't have to use Loctite or over tighten the bolts either. If done correctly this makes minimal contact with the tailpipe itself which I'm sure will add years to its service life. It serves its purpose in style.

DC Sports EX-1011B Exhaust tips

Very nice looking Exhaust tip, just hope that it won't rust, it seems like it's a mini resonator, I installed on my 1999 Gmc Suburban about 6 months ago the catalytic converter failed after checking with a few dealers and exhaust shops, I decided to install dual exhaust which was only a few $$$ more than replacing with factory exhaust, but the tips were very pricey I'm glad I waited and installed these EX-1011B from DC Sports, in a few months I'll give another review how they wear, they had good reviews but will add my own honest review at a later date. A few more months went by, it's still looks great NO RUST, great product for the price, I would definitely recommend these. UPDATE Sept 01/ 2016 A year now went by, this exhaust tips looks just like the day that I installed them NO RUST except for the screws that hold them on, by looking at the screws I think If I would attempt to remove them they would snap off I highly recommend these tips, plus they are very good looking on my good looking GMC Suburban.

Use a 10mm bolt to loosen and tighten the 3 tight and loose bolts. Looks great on my bone stock 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport V6 Double Cab Long Bed. I'm really going for a Red/Black theme and this was a very good step into the right direction. . (UPDATE) Mine either fell off, or was taken. I think it simply fell off while I was driving. I had it for a while and got it used for only $16, so I'm not too bummed out. It looked great while I had it on.

Excellent quality tip

Easy to install with nice rounded teeth that bite in to your exhaust pipe well to hold on without falling off. Can't say if it effected my sound directly as my exhaust was extremely loud coming out from under my car until I added this piece and was fully stock before but is very good quality and allows the bit of natural but not annoying pops and gurgles to come through from glasspack nicely.

Great price. Great look.

Fits good, looks good. Would recommend using a form of lock tight on the tightening screws so they don't back off or loosen. I like the engraved DC on them, but won't stand out unless you look closely. Make sure you measure the outside diameter of your vehicle pipe before you order, as there are different sized tips. Overall it's great, I bought 2 for my truck. I'm very happy with them.
