- LARGE, CLEAR DIGITS - Just a glance from across the room and you can easily read the timer display with it's big, bold digits. Ideal for those with not the best eyesight.
- COUNTS UP AND DOWN - As well as a countdown timer and minute timer this can also act as a stopwatch counting up from zero. Perfect timer for homework, exercise, gym workout, cooking ( egg timer ), sports, games and classroom timer activities. Maximum time is 99 minutes, 59 seconds.
- LOUD SOUNDING ALARM - You will easily be able to hear this alarm in another room. It is loud and clear but not deafening. The mildly hard of hearing should have no problem with the alarm.
- MAGNETIC BACK, RETRACTABLE STAND AND HOOK FOR HANGING - You have 3 different choices for placement of the Kitchen Timer. Either stick it to the fridge door with its large magnet, or use the pull out stand for table-top use, and finally you can run a piece of string through the hook and hang it on a wall hook or around your neck if you are on the go.
- ON/OFF SWITCH - Surprisingly a lot of timers do not have an on/off switch due to the minimal power consumption. But many people prefer electrical items to be powered down after use, and with the small, subtle on/off switch on the side you can do just that.

Loved this so much I bought a second one!
Loved this so much I bought a second one! and, best of all, is that I can hear it with my age 70 hard-of-hearing ears! Bought this to replace my favorite kitchen timers that I use for cooking and also for my naps. I was accidentally over-cooking stuff and not hearing my old times when they went off at the end of a nap. Plus, I got tired of my husband exclaiming, "didn't you hear that?" And now I have discovered a third use for it so I am buying a third one today.....my clothes dryer has a buzzer I can use, but my clothes washer does not and I often forget and leave a load in washer too long. So I used my new little timer (has a handy magnet on the back) and I was amazed that I could hear it 2 rooms away. plus, the best part, aside from being able to hear it, is that the alarm sound does not hurt my ears. As I have gotten more hearing-impaired, the high pitched noises of some kitchen buzzers and timers can really hurt my ears (my Wolf Oven timer is one of the worse, unfortunately). In sum, highly recommended!

Quality, No Brainer Timer
I needed a timer. How hard can it be to find a timer, right? I chose this timer because of the description, reviews, and perceived quality through pictures. BEFORE I received the timer, I received an email with some simple tips and an easy way to reach the company IF I had issues or wasn't satisfied. One tip emailed to me was to turn the timer off on the side using black mini switch. This saves battery and was good to know. I have had no issues or need to call the company. The timer works just as expected but better. When it arrived, I was immediately impressed with the sturdiness and the feel. It's quality for the money and let's face it, lately, products on Amazon have been subpar lately. I just had a baby shower and ordered lots off Amazon and I've had to send three things back in a week (which I hate doing so you know they were bad). Not this timer though. I needed a it to make waffles for my waffle bar at the baby shower. I set the timer fo 5 minutes, and each time it goes off, I hit the stop button and it sets the last time automatically so I can keep cooking instead of setting the timer repeatedly. I store mine on the fridge using the strong magnets on the back. When I use it for cooking or time-outs, I use the stand which is sturdy and doesn't feel like it will break at all (and I have heavy hands). And setting it is a no-brainer. I hate reading directions and I had no issue to figure it out. My faith is renewed in buying on Amazon for the moment based on this purchase.

Great Timer So Far
Wrenwane Digital Kitchen Timer is an "Excellent" timer. Has large numbers easy to see. Has an on/off switch so you save battery life. The beeping is loud enough to hear several rooms away. I sure hope it lasts longer than 3-6 months. I've been through "several" Presto timers which don't last; 1 lasted under 1 month which seller replaced, one lasted about 4-6 months, another not even 1 yr. :( I use timers "daily", from doing laundry to cooking. Sometimes I have 2 timers clipped on my shirt so I know when to go check on something. The magnets are great, it doesn't slide off my vent above my stove. I only wish it had a clip so I could carry it around with me easier when I do my yard work and gardening. I ordered this timer 03/01/2017 and received it 03/09/2017. If it's still alive in 3 months I'll order another. :) I'll revise this review when this one dies so we'll know how long it lasted. :)

Positive Improvements rate 5 Stars
The timer works well however there is some features that need improvement. The three buttons on the face of the timer are all light blue in color as is each of the button letter markings...as a result it is very difficult to see. One button is marked M for minutes....S for seconds and ST/SP for stop/start. I had to use a small black marker to outline the letters on the buttons so they could more easily been seen. Also I found although the timer does have two magnets...they are small and not large and when attached to the refrigerator they had a tendency to slide down. It does come with a bracket that will allow it to stand. Update: contact made with mfr and an updated model is now on Amazon with stronger magnets. The Mfr made good on the one I had by sending me the newer model. I had a chance to test it and it does hold much stronger. The mfr is also addressing the issue of the letter markings. Overall customer service was outstanding and now rates 5 stars.

A very well designed timer
This timer is easy to set, easy to read from a distance, and features a loud, persistent alarm that is unlikely to be ignored. There's no problem hearing it from another room. It has a pleasant look to it, and the magnet keeps it on the refrigerator or the stand keeps it standing up on the counter. It's my favorite timer.

Terrific Timer
For the last 30 years I have used the timer on my microwave for everything, but the old girl is now giving up the ghost, the sound being the first thing to go. I tried the timer on my stove and you can hardly hear it while you are standing right next to it. Since the microwave itself still works, I decided to just get a timer I could hear from another room. This one got good reviews and was a great price, so I ordered it. I use it for baking and also for how long my dogs are out in the snow. It was shipped very quickly as well. I am very happy with this purchase.

Just what I needed
Exactly what I needed. I purchased this to use in my high school classroom as a countdown timer. Numbers are big enough that I can see the time left (and so can some of the students), the magnet sticks to my whiteboard, and the sound is super loud in a good way! When it goes off I can clearly hear it over the din of 17 year olds. The only "downside" is that every time it goes off it makes me want to take something out of the oven, haha! I also have to say that sometimes kitchen timers can be complicated to operate (hard to believe, I know, but I'm always amazed at how un-instinctively some of them operate), and this one is so simple and easy to use, clear, set, start, stop, etc. Very pleased.

This timer has a loop hole on the back so you can put a chain through it and wear it around your neck. It has a stand that you can pop out on the back so you can set it upright. The magnets on the back are very strong so it won't fall off the fridge door every time you open or close it. It has an on/off switch on the side so when you're not using it you're not wasting battery. Only one AAA battery needed. The battery cover plate is not flimsy, so no need to tape it shut. The alarm is nicely loud, not crazy loud like a smoke detector. It's a medium/high pitched chirping BEE-BEE-BEE BEEEPP, , , , , , , BEE-BEE-BEE-BEEEPP... and it lasts for 60 seconds or until you press any button. If you have normal hearing, and you are near it, you will hear it. If it's in another room where the TV is on, probably not. I bought this because I want to quickly set the timer and for an alarm to go off when I'm taking my 15 minute breaks and 30 minute lunches at work. I work from home and even though I have a very comfortable environment, for payroll purposes and legalities I'm required to clock in/out for lunch. When you work from home it's easy to lose track of time, get distracted or just forget to clock back in. I've tried the timer on my smart phone but it's too easy to accidentally close that program or not hear it at all because I'm on the phone. It's a Wrenwane. Rhymes with Lil Wayne, in Maine, pouring rain, hip pain, insane, in brain. WRENWANE!

Simple, Clean, Beautiful Timing Tool
Elegant in its simplicity of function with a clean and well thought out design. If you're an "Extra bells and whistles" KISS method proponent like me, this Wrenwane Digital Kitchen Timer is the solution for counting up or counting down any time-sensitive task. It arrived yesterday since I've used it to alert me that the 20 minutes it takes my oven to heat up to 450 degrees and the 15 minutes it took my Pizza to bake. Then I used it to time the voice over content so I don't run long on some training videos I had to get done. Sure there are countdown timers you can get for free online, but I'm already multitasking doing screen capture videos what with VU Meters to watch, pausing and starting the subject software etc. This cute little Timer sits center stage on my desk right below my monitor with its Giant numbers counting down. I don't usually get excited over simple, inexpensive tools that are cool, but this Wrenwane is definitely the exception to that rule.
