I bought these to create my own organization system in my small storage building. I rate myself as 4 out of 10 when it comes to handyman work, but these were SO easy to install. I nailed up a 2x4 on the wall studs and then screwed these into the wall stud to create my own hanging system for shovels, rakes, brooms, etc. Was surprised how well these held and they are very well made.

I wasn't sure these would hold our VERY thick handled tools like shovels, garden rake...but they've been hanging for months now so I highly recommend! Used for odd small tools also. Out of the box of 20, I think I only have 2 left after completing my project!

Once mounted with two #8 X 3/4" pan head wood screws (not included), these clamps become quite sturdy. Helped me gain some floor space back in the kitchen pantry. The few items I did have hung on nails kept being knocked down. Not with these. I mounted them with the moveable (push) side on the right but could be mounted either way.

I used these a little differently. My 90-year-old sister is mainly bedridden but likes to eat in her wheelchair once in awhile. I read reviews on wheelchair trays and couldn't find one that received rave reviews so I decided to make one. I had spare plywood, etc., in my garage so I just needed something to fasten the tray that I made to the arms of the chair. These clamps did the trick. I used two on one side and one on the other side. They work perfectly. No more spills and she's happy.

I eventually did what some of the others had suggested. Drill a piece of wood into the wall and mount the clamps onto that. Once the wood was up, these things became SO EASY and I feel like they hold a lot of weight.

These things are STRONG. It takes a bit of muscle to get your tools into them the first few times, but this also means that they are secure. We have these all around our barn and not one has failed yet. They don't bend easy, the springs remain strong, and they haven't rusted.

I have been using these clamps for a while now and thought it was time to write a review. I hung these up in my garage to get a number of tools off the floor and give me more space in the garage. These clamps are an excellent solution. I was able to hang everything I wanted with these with the exception of a large and heavy pick ax. The clamps are much stronger than I thought they would be and they seem to be holding up well. I will definitely buy more to hang some more items Pros: - Easy to install with a cordless drill - Very strong grip - The enlarged right side makes it easy to open the clamp to get the tool in and out - The clamp is small which makes it easy to hang just about anywhere - The clamp can by oriented horizontally or vertically to accommodate the item you are hanging. - They seem to be very durable and I have not seen any signs of them wearing or breaking. Cons: - I can't think of any right now but will update if something changes

Hung a few in closet for brooms, mops, etc. Works great. Good strong hold - stronger than needed for light duty tools, but not too hard for me or my wife to use conveniently. These things feel like things you might find in an industrial closet from 50 years ago still going strong. I don't foresee ever needing to replace these. I got the 20 pack planning to use more in basement and garage at some point.

Originally I purchased a 4-pack of Lehigh 13201 Grip Clip Organizer (Silver, Medium) from Amazon to hold brooms on my shop wall. In less than a week one Lehigh clip fractured and broke and a second one did the same thing about 1.5 weeks after installation. I set out looking for something stronger that would last and stumbled onto these Bulldog clips. Originally I was turned off that I couldn't buy these in a smaller quantity, but after I installed the first four and noted how strong they were, I immediately used 14 more. Things now hanging on my shop wall using these (1 clip, each) include: * Push broom * Standard broom * 30" floor squeegee * 32oz rip hammer * 20oz framing hammer * 16oz standard hammer * 24oz ball pein hammer * 1.5lb rubber mallet I also use one of these to keep a 3/8" diameter rubber air line in place against the wall (from my compressor on the floor to my ceiling-mounted reel of air line)... as it allows me to disconnect and move the air line from the compressor if I need to. There's another one near the compressor that holds the quick disconnect coupling of the 25' coiled air line so that it isn't just laying on the floor. I think you get the idea -- these hold a good amount of weight and have a plethora of potential uses. I'll be ordering more for the storage area on my dock once I finish it, this summer!

Perfect! We recently completed some garage / shop organization and this is just what was needed. These spring clamps will hold most broom / rake items and many "over-sized" handles as well. They are held on with two screws which are not included but I do not have any issues because screws normally included are too soft. The clamps have a large spring loaded tab you push on to open the clamp, insert your item and release for a firm hold. The spring is very strong and has no problems holding large shovels but is too strong for my 9 yo daughter to use easily. She can open them and remove a broom but it takes her a little time to put a broom back up. Adults and older kids have no issues. There is more work involved installing these compared to a 5-6 position mop / broom holder that is all in one piece but this allows you to manage the spacing in between each item to perfectly meet your needs. I found it best to install a 2X4 into the studs the length of my opening for all of my tools, in my case, it was 8' long and then install these clamps into the 2X4 at my desired spacing ensuring a solid hold and not having to space them at each stud or have concerns the siding would hold in between studs. I cannot imagine these clips not lasting a very, very long time. These are much more expensive at our local home improvement center, $10 for a pack of 3 compared to $1 each on Amazon. Awesome deal!
