My golf cart's age combined with my age equals 100 years old and that has created a big problem with shifting the reverse/foward gear lever. This product solved the problem in ten seconds. I took another reviewer's advice and filled the back side cavities with resin glue which I agree has to add strength and durability to this great product. I've added this photo to show the back of the old and the new one. I used masking tape around the edge and let the resin cure for a couple of days. It was a simple and easy process.

Excellent upgrade - Get one!

I expected this to be better than the tiny little stock EZ-GO handle, but it is a LOT better. Our cart is getting older, and the FWD/REV switch is getting a little stiff. This makes it operate MUCH easier. The only downside is that in FWD, the handle sits against the back of my calf, but for the improvement in operation, I'll put up with that. I was going to make something like this, but when I saw the price, it was a no-brainer. It would have taken me a while to whip something ugly up, but this looks nice, works great, and took about 3 minutes to install after I opened the box. A nicely made item that fits perfectly, and makes a big difference in the usability of the cart. Get one!

Excellent fit!

I purchased this to replace the original shifter handle on my 1995 EZGO TXT Medalist Golf Cart. My youngest daughter had a hard time using the original shifter handle. This replacement shifter fit perfectly by removing the one screw from the old one, taking it off and replacing with the new one. It works great and she can shift gears easily without a struggle now. Highly recommend this product. Well-made, and a perfect fit for my cart.

Bought this for my 2018 ezgo valor (gas)... what a simple great product. This shifter is good quality and installed in about 15 seconds (1 screw). It’s got the perfect angle to it which doesn’t get in the way when your sitting in the cart but is easily accessible with your right hand to grab and shift very easily. Totally worth the money. Buy it.

Don't think twice...buy it!

Expensive? Yep! Well designed? Yep! Would I buy it again? Yep! This shifter is well designed and puts an end to my wife's arthritis "issue" when driving her golf cart. If you, or yours, has a similar problem this product is for you. It's simple as a paperclip and functional as one as well!

If you have an EZGo This item is a must buy. I had noticed it about a year and a half ago. Delayed buying it and made a huge mistake. It makes the forward and reverse so easy like me you will kick yourself for not buying it as soon as you can. This is definitely a five star item

Ease of operation.

I bought this to replace the factory small changing knob that was a pain in the you know what to operate. This thing is held in by one Phillips head screw and installed in about one minute. It makes shifting from forward to reverse super easy. It’s also a great quality and sturdy as heck. If you don’t like the tiny factory ones try this you’ll like it.

I don't know how this makes shifting so much easier, but, it does. Just a couple of inches linger and a slight curve somehow makes a lot of difference. My cart was getting hard to shift, very stiff feeling. This actually cured it of the problem. The screw was a bit hard to get out, but it finally came out with some persuasion.

EZGo shift lever

If you own one of the older EZGo golf carts, then you already know how inconvenient the shift knob is. And how hard it is sometimes to change gears. This lever totally eliminates that problem. Best purchase I ever made for my cart. I just wish I'd bought one years ago!

Fits and looks great

Looks and functions much better than the factory shifter. Used on my 2000 EZGO TXT gas model. Side note: I did have to put a small washer in the bolt hole to keep it from rubbing the paint. But still fits great!!
