I have owned two cooktops that were nearly twice the price of this one and neither lasted very long . Thats why I decided to try something different and cheaper . So far ,,, I am well pleased with my purchase .

Hot Pot at Home!

One use in, and we love this induction stovetop and pot. I’m addicted to hot pot and was excited to see I could get this plus spicy soup base on Amazon! The burner is a great size, low profile and quiet, even with the fan going. It easily wiped clean after use. Temperature range is perfect for simmer to rolling boil. Easy to change the temp too. The pot is thin but handles are sturdy. We had no issues with it denting or warping. It cleaned up easily, even after boiling broth, spices, meat and veggies for a solid 30+ minutes. The stove top did not get hot (outside the heat rings). Neither did the handles. Love it!

Perfect for chinese hotpot or japanese shabu shabu

Use it once and it worked perfectly. Set the power to maximum (1800W) and it keeps the soup boiling when you throw the food in. The pot coming with cook top is thin and feels cheap, nonetheless perfect for hotpot. The fact is that there is no benefit using heavier and thicker ones for hotpot. some reviewers complain about the durability of the cooktop, so I spend $6 on the 4-year protection plan. What can you lose?

This thing is great.. I’ve used it for hot pot many times and even for frying chicken because of the temperature adjustment feature. Hot pot wise, because the induction cooker protrudes a bit, often times soup droplets gets onto the control pad and presses the touch screen buttons but luckily they have a feature that allows you to lock the touch screen to allow no changes. Another thing, because all the buttons are touch screen, it is easy to clean and the soup and mess does not damage anything internally or externally! Also, the touch screen and the cooking top are both this flat glass top which makes it tremendously EASY and simple to clean afterwards!! Just a quick wipe and you are done. The only downside is that you can’t really use any other pot aside from the one in this set unless it was made from a magnetic material. But the pot is a perfect hot pot size and for frying chicken so you should be fine. If this price is too steep, I also recommend getting an electric burner instead. I have one of those too and they are easy to use, simple and you can use any type of pots on top. Also they are much much cheaper than this set. The outcome is similar when it comes to hot pot.

Excellent purchase for our new kitchen

Excellent purchase for our new kitchen. We decided to ditch a surface stove and use induction cookers when we remodeled with granite countertops. These cookers will heat up to the temperature you set within a few seconds. It takes some practice to get used to the new style of cooking but it is well worth the investment. You can literally put your cooking surfaces anywhere you have a plug.

Still going strong Love it. Only thing I would change about this product is if it had infinity temp setting not just the 4-5 temp settings

Great for Hot Pot

We love Asian hot pot, and that was the main reason we purchased this, however it has so many other reg cooking uses. Love how easy it is to operate as long as you have the right cookware, luckily, we had 3 pieces that were compatiple. It does take a little bit to get used to and understand the temperature settings, but we are pleased.

Works great for hot pot. Thin pan.

I used it for Hot pot. The pot is very thin so I recommend that when you choose the hot pot setting to turn the temperature down lower. It works with other pots with magnetic bottoms just know that it will take longer if your bottom is thicker.

Works a little too well.

Works well but a little bit to get used to. It will boil a pot of water in the blink of an eye which means it will scorch something much less in size that fast also.

We have thouroughly enjoyed using this induction burner. The only complaint I have is with the pan that comes with it. Have to be very careful that food doesn’t burn in it. Problem could be operator error also! Thinking about purchasing another one.
