I love learning new skills, but juggling was something that had eluded me for a number of years. I was convinced that I had some type of genetic predisposition to being a terrible juggler, despite having otherwise good hand-eye coordination. I had made many brief attempts to learn, but never really put in a significant amount of time before throwing in the towel. I think that's what happens to most people, though. I watched the video and followed along, and within 15 minutes I was able to do a single 3 ball cascade without issue. I had done this a few times before in the past, but then after about another 10 minutes of practice I started being able to repeat it, which is something I think I had managed maybe once or twice before in my entire life. After about 40 or 50 minutes of practice I didn't seem to be improving much more than I had. Before letting myself get discouraged again, I managed to repeat a few cascades, and set the balls down for the day. As I went to bed that night, and throughout the next work day, I could feel the wheels turning in my brain as it was practicing what it learned. If you're familiar with the "Tetris Effect" then you'll know what I mean. (Or look it up if you don't, it's neat!) When I tried again the next day, I could immediately tell that I had improved from the previous day. Great job subconscious; gold star to you! It's been about 5 days now, about an hour each day, and I'm very comfortable with repeating a 3 ball cascade for well over a minute. I've also started to get much better at recovering when I do screw up. I've even started some light juggling household objects, but these are much easier to grip and get comfortable with. So, if you think "I just can't juggle", then at least know that it's probably because you lack patience, not coordination. Give it some time and you'll wonder why it was ever so difficult. Oh, and the product itself, they're great! I'm not sure if they would stand up to something like hacky sack, but I can't see the stitching coming out any time soon. Of course, I will report back if I have any problems. Thanks MisterM.

These are quality balls and are fun to play with for a few weeks before you move on to another new hobby and lose them one by one. But honestly why are you even here guys? Why are you reading the reviews on a set of juggling balls on Amazon.com. There’s probably something else you could be doing. Go do that.

I gave this product five-star for three reasons: no prior "juggling-product" experience, comparison to other review, and consumer awareness on behalf of the seller. Firstly, I have never purchard any products to try to learn how to juggle. This is the first set of juggling balls I've owned in my 32 years, so I have nothing to compare these to any others. With that being said, I am very happy with them. They are easy to grip, don't roll away when dropped and are multi colored (so they catch the eye). Secondly, I read on prior review that said the balls are made with an inferior quality and the balls split at the seam. I will say that in my frustration in learning (bad eye-hand coordination, remember?) I threw the ball(s) at the closest wall, very hard (multiple times), and the balls have given no sign of weakening. Would I suggest for you to do this? No. But, this should show that either the quality has improved drastically, or the "breaking at the seams" were isolated instances. Lastly, the inclusion of a video (which was very informative), in addition to the holding bag show the seller has the consumer in mind. Can you find a video on the Internet to give you tips? Sure! But, to have one in the box ready when you open it is a simple yet significant gesture on behalf of the seller that you're more than just another dollar. If I could offer any constructive criticism to this review, it would be to expand the starter video with more, or alternative, techniques. One such technique that helped me tremendously was to pass one ball in a figure 8 (on its side, if you will) from one hand to another. Do this for a long time, and then do it with your eyes closed. After this is mastered (it took me FOREVER, hence the frustration) you keep the ball in one-plane and the subsequent steps will be cake! TL;DR No prior experience with similar products, but held up to much physical abuse. Consumer in mind, great tutorial video included. Would definitely buy again.

My class of 6- and 7-year olds loved them in our throwing game, and begged for more. Some of these reviews made it sound like the juggling balls would be hard at first; that's not the case. They're flexible and squishy enough to grab easily — exactly what I was hoping. The colors are as bright as is shown as online, and the burlap bag they come in is even better than I pictured. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone learning to juggle, and to anyone looking for squishy, durable juggling balls for any other use. Thanks for a great product!

I love these balls! I bought them around a month ago because I really wanted to learn how to juggle. I didn't really want to spend 10 dollars for something that I didn't even know I'd stick to. However, these balls feel really good. They are the perfect size for my hands (my hands are slightly big) but I assume they are perfect for anyone unless you have super small hands. They feel perfect and have the perfect weight. When I started, I dropped the balls a lot and was really scared I'd have to buy another set very quickly but despite my somewhat poor handling, they still haven't shown any signs of tear. I can see that they might open up at some points soon, but this is not the product's fault; I have been dropping them on hard surfaces all the time. Overall: Great product. I just bought a second set because I was ready to try some tricks with more than 3 balls! I was surprised at how the new balls felt like. They seemed a lot bigger and firmer (?) than the ones I have. So that says how much they can be thrown on the ground and beaten and they will still last you a while.

I've been lax with my juggling practice lately, and so I picked these up to relearn. For the price, I love the size and feel. They don't feel loose like hacky-sacks, though I'm sure they'll lose some filling and stretch over time. Overall, great product for learning or practice.

My grandson used to like when I would try to juggle 3 balls like I said try lol anyhow I saw these and decided to buy them to try as apposed to the hard plastic balls that we bought him to play with. they arrived super fast packaged well. one thing I noticed right away is that they are easier to hold onto my first try was met with a pleasant smile on this old mans face I was able to juggle these with ease. I always had the concept of juggling three balls what I was lacking was the proper tools .this set is amazingly easy to juggle they are a great weight so they don't float around . they are squishy enough to be gripped instantly the second they enter your hand.. not sure what they are filled with but it feels like a very light weight sand . what really cool is when you mess up and they hit the floor you don't have to chase them around they drop at your feet and stay there, that means more time practicing and less time chasing. I highly recommend this product to any beginner and I'm sure even a pro would like them. This has been great for holding my grandsons attention and he has even invented a little dance while I juggle.. Thank you to Mr.M for such a fantastic product that's given me and my little grandson so much joy.

These weigh in at 100g ±1 (~3.5 oz.) and are ~8" in circumference. They are heavy enough to learn with, but perhaps not for little children's hands (mine are fairly large). I'm a mediocre juggler, and have used some lighter balls which are harder to work with. Further, the feel like they have the right density : not too mushy. I've only had them for a few weeks, so I can't comment on their longevity, but they seem to be well made. Will advise if otherwise. The fifth star is for Mr. M's online tutorial. It is well worth watching, suitable for all ages.

We've now purchased three sets of the Juggling Balls and they work great. I noticed in a few other posts that some people had trouble with the seams splitting. I just took that as break-in advice, and didn't allow the balls to hit sharp objects or a cement floor while they were breaking in. Eventually the material stretches, and then the seams are as taught. The less than $10 price makes this a perfect little gift. The company appears to have other fun things and the customer service was so good that I'm gonna try their other products. I had trouble juggling at first and was discouraged because I was good at juggling in college. Then I put my glasses on - boy did that help! LOL So I'm juggling much better now.
