I generally HATE toys that make noise/ play songs for kids. But my daughter got this as a gift and is SO OBSESSED with it that I am now converted to loving some of these types of toys! My daughter has learned to crawl at an early age and I credit this ball in helping her move along. She loves to chase after it and try to grab it. That being said, prepare yourself to memorize the same little songs over and over again as your child plays with this toy for hours : )

You know those weasel balls that roll around for your cat? This is the baby version, and our 8 month old kiddo LOVES it. She crawls after this thing like a little maniac and you can almost see the wheels turning in her brain as she pushes the buttons and figures out what to do with it.

Baby loved it. Found it entertaining for a few minutes and then went on to something else. When saw it again was entertained again. Babies have short interest spans. Baby happy to see the toy each time it appeared.

Bought one for my son when he was probably 6 months old. He loved it but definitely didn't understand finding shapes and animals on it. As he got older, it's been fun seeing all that he's learned and really interact with it. We loved it so much I bought one for my friend's little boy. Hopefully he enjoys his as much as my kiddo did!

This is my son's favorite toy. He loves it since he was 7 months old and he's now 16 months. We leave it in the car and it keeps him happy on short trips (10-25 min). I don't know what it is, I think he likes the rotating chick on it, but whenever he sees it, he squeals with joy.

Bright, colorful, a little noisey, but who cares? It's adorable! It rolls kind of wibble-wobble which makes it go only so far. It won't roll so far that baby gets frustrated as he's learning to crawl or scoot after it. Oh, and it's tough. My grandson is 10 months old and has learned to throw. It takes some effort, but he does occasionaly heave the thing baby fashion. The little ribbon strips-genius addition. Auditory, visual, tactile stimulation. Someone at V Tech got into the mind of a baby!

Our daughter did not play much with it when she was a baby. However now, when she is 18 months, she really loves this toy. She is interacting with it a lot and the repetition of the music over and over again is a bit annoying. There was a moment when the sound became stuck and screechy (pretty much like in a horror movie) and we had to replace a battery. Baby loves the music and will try to imitate the songs. She will sometimes pull it up by the colorful ribbons at the sides and throw it to the floor. Despite that, the ball is still holding up and nothing broke apart. Really surprised by the quality. The toy turned up to be useful for many stages of the baby development, not only for the crawling period

I was searching for something to get my little four month old more involved in playing than he had been. He seemed to be bored with jingling and rattling toys, so I tried this one out. It's perfect! Even though he can't crawl after it yet, he reached and rolls for it and loves to push the buttons and get the lights going. I really feel like this will last awhile as far as entertainment goes.

My daughters favorite toy. It helped her learn how to crawl (5.5 months) because she wanted to catch the ball so badly.

Great toy for promoting crawling and moving skills. My son loves the rotating duck so much that I think its is one feature that is not going to last. Great for babies (mine is 7 months old) but a little annoying for parents. The songs were not made with much effort and even though baby loves when this ball is on, it can get a bit irritating hearing it play over and over and over the same songs. Definitely a great toy!
