Cheaper than the local auto stores, and arrived free (with Prime) to my door, can't beat that. I switched to valvoline high mileage when my 1995 Toyota started smoking on startup around 80k, smoke free a month after the first oil change and still smoke free for the last 4 oil changes / 20k miles!

GREAT OIL AT A GREAT PRICE

I love this oil. its very reasonable and i like the way it holds up. I have been changing my oil for over 45 years. I dont follow milage tables. I look at the oil and watch the color of it and I also smell it to see how much gasoline odor it has. I have a ford escort I have been driving for 22 years and the oil in it is very clean inside. Valvoline has always made good products. I take myself out to dinner after i change my own oil. Others spend 45 bucks and but to me its alot better to do it yourself. If you dont like to get your hands dirty then you probaly shouldnt be driving!

Quality Motor Oil

I've used Valvoline in every one of my vehicles whenever possible, and never have been disappointed. Recently I switched to MaxLife because my currently vehicle has over 170,000 miles, and thought it would be a good idea to use it since there wasn't any difference between in and Valvoline's standard oil. It's great that Amazon sells it and that it is not any more expensive than going to the store, since it is a lot more convenient.

same thing sold at walmart just cheaper and didnt have to go pick it up. Valvoline is one of the last owned and made in USA. Wont use anything else

Great oil and good value when priced right

I've been using this oil in my 8th gen Honda Civic since I purchased it. Used oil analysis performed by Blackstone Labs has shown that this oil performs and holds well up well in my application. Know your prices when shopping...sometimes its a great deal here on Amazon!

Great oil for my aging car

I have a Corolla with 225k on it and have been using this oil once it passed 75k. Works great and I got a great price for the oil on Amazon.

Good for high mileage Fords when 5W-20 oil is required

Purchased and added to my 2003 Ford F150 w/ the 5.4L V8. My truck has 159,000 miles and still going strong. During the oil change, I used the Motorcraft FL-820S oil filter. Valvoline MaxLife oil and Motorcraft oil filters are a good combo for the 5.4L V8.

It's motor oil, from a reputable company, at a decent price

Really not much more to be said. I don't have a PhD in Chemistry, so can't quantify the "high mileage" claims, but as long as it has the right service classification and weight called-for in my owner's manual, I'm the first to grab the cheapest I can find. If I end-up paying a percent or two more through Amazon (so I don't have to make a visit to the store), it's well worth-it in my book. This product hits on all cylinders!

Good deal when good price available

Very good price - $14-$17 for 5 qt jug very good quality semi-synth Beats Pep-Boys combo oil with Fram filter Add a good quality oil filter like Denso and you're good to go - 2003 Acura going strong after 280k miles Only problem is item is 'Currently Unavailable' or twice the price every now and then. I keep it in my Cart and wait for it to be in the $15-$17 range before I buy it.

Using with 50K engine.

Had reservations since it claims its for engines with high miles. But after researching some more, I saw the statement that it still is fine with low mile motors, my impression is that it will provide overprotection until you need it. That is not a bad thing with our 04 F350 V10 towing 10k lbs down the road. Bonus that it is also the least expensive blend.
