Wow... totally fantastic stuff! FOLLOW the instructions and make sure you are in A WELL VENTILATED AREA, and I also suggest a fan to Blow the fumes (away) from where you are working. VERY POTENT ODORS, which the instructions do say. Works phenomenal! Painted right over some rusted beams and it sealed the entire beam, rust and all! Looked like I had poured a liquid latex to it. Make sure to wear gloves, mask, etc., as this stuff is (THIN) and will splatter if you are not careful.

Longterm Investment
Not gonna beat a dead horse here. This stuff is the best bang for your buck that you can get. Coats well and really dresses up the metal. Rust proofing is top notch and I use it on all my vehicles. Only thing to add with everyone else, this stuff STAINS ANYTHING IT TOUCHES. So just be cautious and wear the right equipment, and protect things you don't want coated black cause this stuff can run and drip. Overall, best investment you can make to protect metal from rust.

Excellent product but make sure you follow the directions on surfaces prep. It will fail if it is not done correctly!! I used this paint on the frame of my restoration project. You can brush it which I find very tedious or you can spray it with a spray gun. You need to have a large enough tip since you do not want to dilute it. I used a 1.7 hvlp gun and it laid down very nicely. Make sure you wear proper clothing and eye protection because the vapors will really irrate your eyes.

Best rust coating.
I've used many other brands and by far, POR 15 is the best. Read the can and follow the instructions for gods sake. Use a respirator, a real one with proper filters or risk isocyanides entering your lungs and hardening, thus suffocating you. Massive ventilation is required. Don't get it on your skin or clothes. It's tough to get off. I buy cheapy brushes and throw them out after. Pour an amount into a container and use that. Seal the can immediately after wiping every little bit off the can and lid. Lots of users complain of destroying the can upon reopening. It won't happen if you clean it all off before closing it. This product will stick to most any clean surface and sticks best to rusty prepared metal. If you think this product is too expensive, check out the price of any automotive top coat by the quart. Materials have gotten pricey, but buy quality stuff and do it once. Good luck.

Works great, but wear gloves
I've been using this stuff for years and it really works well to stop rust from coming through. Just make sure you wear gloves and use disposable/cheap brushes, this does not come off of things, if you get it on your hands prepare to wait a few weeks for it to wear off.

Thick, difficult to scratch off, do not use primer
I LOVE Por15. It goes on thick and a little lasts. I did my whole jeep frame, axles, and a few exterior jeep parts with 1 quart, including what i wasted by forgetting to put a top on it. It's not an easy paint to scratch off and I loved it so much I bought another quart, sanded down the inside of my jeep, and painted the whole inside black with por15. Do not use primer when you're using this product. When I prepped my frame it didn't adhere very well. It adheres best if you leave a little bit of rust when you sand it down. On the inside, I did 2 coats of por15 then a black automotive paint over it and it turned out beautifully. You can even use a brush when applying the por15 because it levels out so that the brush stroke lines disappear. We had to spray the automotive paint.

Jeep Wrangler Underbody
I bought this for my 2008 Jeep Wrangler which was beginning to show a lot of rust underneath. I didn't think this would be enough but this little can is more than enough for the entire underside. I put only 1 coat on (it goes on very thin) and still have well over 1/2 the can left. I will say this is by far the messiest project I've taken on in a long time. If you're worried about your driveway apply this in the street. If you're worried about this staining your skin id advise to put on a full body suit and face mask. I chose not to wear gloves because I am a stubborn POS and my hands are stained. I did absolutely no prep work and this covered the rust flawlessly. I'll be updating this review ASAP.

Wear gloves!
Pros: Applies easily with cheap bristle brush. Flows to a smooth finish. Once it's set, nothing is getting through. 1 quart covered the entire underside of a 8'x6' truck bed and the inside of the wheel tubs, and still have plenty left over for future projects. Cons: If you don't wear good rubber gloves while applying it, you will be wearing POR-15 for the next few weeks. Any drips that make it to a concrete garage floor are permanently part of the floor once set. Advice: If you have any left after use, put a few layers of plastic wrap over the top before the lid. Otherwise, the lid will be permanently attached to the can.

Do it right the first time with POR15
Worth every penny. This stuff works. One quart covered the entire floor of my sprinter which is 13.5 by 5.5 ft and still have leftovers. Sprayed the metal prep on first and washed off. It really grips to rust. Make sure to scuff up any paint that isn't rusted.

This stuff works better than advertised
This stuff works better than advertised. I put on entire rusty floor, bed etc of 70's bronco around 2004. Stayed nice and shiny black and rust free all the years of heavy use. It unfortunately burned to an empty shell in house fire new years eve (was next to house).. after cleaning all the debris out of the bronco and pressure washing it out to see if salvageable. I found the bed is still coated in por15 and now just dull dirty black. All the paint burned off the Broncos elsewhere and it is a rusty hulk now but the parts I coated almost 15 years ago are still good to go. Pretty good true story of well it works. May coat the entire Bronco in It side it really does stick better to rusty surfaces. Unfortunately it sticks to humans even better so suit up in something you don't care about that covers you head to toe and get some good gloves to use. It doesn't matter how careful you are or how meticulous you are. YOU WILL GET SOME ON YOU SOME HOW!!! IF you don't cover up!!! LoL
