PERFECT SIZE
This tiny camera supplies a great view. The camera is truly 170 degree view. I had my g/f stand off about 5 to the side of the truck at only about 1 behind and the camera was still able to see her. The hardest part about mounting the camera was picking the right location. As you'll see from the pictures, I think I found the perfect spot where it is not easily visible keeping thieves away, yet, allow me to back up to my trailer and get close enough to mounting without having to get out of the truck 2-3 times. It is also protected by the receiver bracket putting it out of harms way. The instructions were of very little to no help, however, it was very easy to install. I already knew where the power was going to come from, reverse light wire, and the ground was easy enough. The yellow RCA cable connects to the monitor. It was long enough, with plenty to spare to run it from the receiver, under the truck (2000 GMC Sierra 1500 Ext Cab) tucking it away along side the chassis, and routing it under the cab. I ran the RCA cable into the cab through the shifter linkage bushing, under the carpet, up the inside of the left side panel next to the hood release, and up by the fuse panel along the rubber molding and squeeze by dash panel to mount the Monitor on the dash. Backing up to the trailer or into a parking spot has never been easier. Good luck

Excellent customer service!
Was a great camera, until it rained. Fogged up and is useless. Tried drying it out but what's the point? Don't have any use for a camera that fogs up when it rains. NOT WATERPROOF. **UPDATE** 1-27-16 After leaving a one star review the company contacted me and offered to send me a replacement camera. I received the camera in three days, not too shabby. Installed the new camera and it has been working flawlessly for about a month. I'm in Northern California and it has been raining for most of the month plus I`ve put it through 2 or 3 car washes. I guess the first one was just defective. Customer service from this company was excellent. They could have made me jump through hoops and wait forever for a replacement or a refund but they stood by their product. They reached out to me, I didn't have to lift a finger! That's customer service! Five stars ...

Excellent value for money and top notch customer services
I ordered this item and received wrong product that didn't had backup guide lines. I contacted seller and literary minutes later got response from Leslie who apologized for issue. Leslie offered me to send me replacement camera free of charge and I don't even need to send wrong item back. Excellent customer service received from Leslie. You can't beat the value for money for this camera. I read some reviews that are saying that after a year of use camera lens got damaged from weather conditions and UV rays. This is completely normal I will say. Taking in consideration price of this camera you can't expect that this camera has sapphire glass and last for ever. If this camera last 6 month for me I will still be happy with it, cost of this camera is just two McDonald's Big Mac's. Replacement camera is working as described, you have button that you turn off or on backup guide lines and rotate video in all directions , depends how ill mount camera at the back. All in all . I'm very happy with this purchase and especially with Thousandshores Inc amazing customer service.

Seller gets A++ for Customer Service!
Update: The camera stopped working- exactly one-year to the date from when I purchased it. I reached out to the Manufacturer but to no avail. However, the SELLER reached out to me (based on my updated review) and honored the Manufacturer's Warranty and sent out a replacement unit. The seller went above and beyond their call of duty since the 1-yr warranty is really from the Manufacturer and not them. So credit must be given where it is deserved and I will definitely choose to buy from this seller over others. Thank you for great customer service! Revised review. Ordered it for a travel trailer.... well, today, May 20th, 2018 is exactly one year after I installed it- pulled the trailer out of storage and camera is not working. So somewhere between Dec. 2017 and May 20th it went out. Question is.... will the seller honor my 12-month replacement warranty and send out a new unit? What say you seller?! Great little camera... Installed it on a 30' trailer. Took off 1-star because the pic is not super sharp.... but I'm over 50' from the back of the trailer to the screen.... probably should've purchased one with a booster.

Truly waterproof.
This camera is truly waterproof. Installed it myself no problems. The picture quality is great. Love it. The size is perfect. You can't even tell it's there. Recommend it to all my friends. The price is worth it. I adjusted to hook up my trailer without any help. I just go on reverse and I can line it up easily.

Good Camera: Poor electrical connection: Replacement unit works good.
Note: The camera seems well built and the unit does work. The Problem is the molded electrical junction combining the RCA and power cables heats up so much you can't hold it. Generally thinking manufacturing quality problem. Going to try a different 12 volt power supply (does not come with one) and update. Will be returning if that does not work as concerned about short circuit and fire hazard. Update:June 23rd. Seller promptly got back to regards the issue and followed up with a replacement camera which works good. Upgrading feedback to reflect good customer communication and quality of replacement product

Great field of view and low-light resolution.
This is the best backup camera I've ever used. I did take the advice of previous reviewers and use silicone sealant on all of the seams to prevent any possible water intrusion. I mounted this camera high on my trucks utility box. Not only do I get a wide-angle horizontal view, but the vertical angle is quite good as well. The camera provides a usable vertical image from the bumper up to the horizon. The built in guide marks that superimpose on the monitor are very helpful. They are as wide as my F-150, and are incremented in one-foot sections out to six feet. The result is a 'safety box' that I can use to back into tight spots. I can easily tell when I'm getting close to a fence or wall, and whether I have enough width available for the F-150. If at all possible, mount the camera as high as possible. I made an enclosure for it out of light gauge aluminum rain-gutter parts from Home Depot. It helps to keep it secure from theft and keeps rain off the lens. By the way, the backup light provide sufficient illumination for a good picture at night. Note: I did have to use an extra four feet of cable for the video run to the cab. I have an F-150 with the eight foot bed.

Good clarity and for the price I keep a spare in my trailer. Perfect.
I have this on the back of my car hauler connected via wifi to an iPad mini on suction cup mounted to my windshield. It is on constantly while towing on the higway, providing a fantastic rear view I would not otherwise have. Not having the grid lines is perfect for always on rear view functionality. (Enclosed trailer blocks my rear view mirror.) I run it with this wifi bridge: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011BDY7XA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This system has been functioning for me for nearly 2 years, mostly trouble free. It does lose connectivity sometimes in areas of high interference, and can be slow to start up, sometime requiring a reset but overall I like it, especially for the price. I got another one for a spare, camera too. For a grand total of roughly $60 for the entire system it has been fantastic. Recommended.

Great product for the price
I wanted this camera to go with a wireless wifi transmitter so I could hook up an inexpensive rear view camera on my travel trailer. I have been very happy with the result. The video quality is sufficient for my purpose-knowing when there is traffic directly behind me and being able to see if I have enough clearance for lane changes. The only caution I have is you need to get used to the fact cars are closer than they appear until you get used to the view, which doesn't take long. I monitor the video on my iPad and saved hundreds over a packaged rear view system.

Thumbs up!
The backup camera in my 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser went out. I was trying to find a replacement and the Toyota replacements were $700 or more. Found a post that suggested this camera. For less than $20 I decided it was worth it to give it a try. Took it to my shop and the electrician was able to replace the bad camera with this one and it works every bit as good as the original one did!
