Maximum Strength – Gel is Superior!

I chose this Sabre Red product because it maximum strength and sprays gel instead of traditional pepper spray. I like that the gel sprays a greater distance so you do not have to be as close to the danger. I also do not want to get the pepper spray on me and the gel prevents that from happening which is great! The flip top is very good and easy to use. I feel more comfortable with the flip top then the twist locks which are not as easy to use. The grip is nice too for aiming and better control. From now on I will only purchase pepper gel and a canister with a finger grip. Great product!!

Perfect for a gift!

We live in the ghetto/bad side of our town. My sister told me our cousin and her were followed to school in the morning, so I purchase these because they are easy to add on the key chains. Now I feel she's little more safe when she goes to school because i know the attackers eyes are gonna burn once she presses the button on them. I take the bus to school and get home around 6pm and its dark. I be having my key chain with this pepper spray on my hand ready for an attack. Highly recommend it bc it is secure to not spray unless you press it.

Hope I never have to use it

I'm "guessing" that this is five stars, because I've never sprayed it at an attacker. It seems like it would be reasonable to handle under stress. I've read from people who have been hosed down a lot with pepper spray, that this stuff is one of the worst (best).

Great Protection

I have purchased 3 of these now. This was first recommended to me at a gun show and the sales rep stressed that pepper gel is much better than pepper spray. He said that pepper spray distributes very broadly and the person using it would likely get some of the spray on themselves. It is quick and easy to use. Unfortunately, I had to use it once on an unleashed dog that was attacking a friend's dog. It stopped the attacking dog and did not bother our dogs. Note: the attacking dog was not permanently harmed! I saw the dog out the next day. I carry it with me every day when I walk my dog and I purchased 2 as gifts.

Sturdy, but too short

I keep mine on a springy wrist strap. I wish it was it was longer. It's hard to hold, my finger will block the hole unless I put one finger under it, which is annoying when you have it on a wrist strap.

Good product = but overpriced

Stream - dose reach 12 ft, but is it's best full stream at 10 ft. Tested this with the wind, and didn't have any blow back. But it doesn't take much breeze to get you. (may sound obvious, but it isn't - Sabre has some that are a cloud of fine mist, that'll get you no matter what you do) Our family members much prefer this flip top style of actuator, easier to use with thumb. Sabre calls this a gel = but it's a stream of liquid, not like some of there others that's sorta like a string of spaghetti This particular item is a favorite - only thing I find troublesome is the price. And especially with only 25 bursts. Sabre has many others with 35 bursts that don't cost nearly as much. Photo - aiming at plate - notice even at 10 ft - the spray drops under plate & is on the pole.

Great protection for women.

I bought this for my girlfriend as her other pepper spray expired. It's small but not too small, fits nice in the hand and easy to operate. The cap is made with a slit so you just slip your finger in there ;) and press the button. And it being a gel it makes me feel safe that if she does use it there is a much less chance of spraying herself though I hope she never has to use it

Top notch

Love this. Carried for years, never used but still in great shape. Very durable and stays in the “safe” position in my purse.

Peace of mind

Purchased this for my daughter's stay on campus. Hope she never needs to put it to use.
