With limited space in our boat, this has been a life saver. We were able to add a place to keep our shampoo and body wash convenient and secure. They use to fall all over the place while boating around, not any more. They are a very heavy duty plastic, they hold a lot and have stayed hanging for weeks without any problems. As you can see in my pic they also have one for razors (reviewed on that item).

Can use for more than just the shower!

I should start off by saying that I don’t actually use this in the shower...I was actually looking for something to hold small items next to my bed (like my phone with the charging cord attached) and it works perfectly! It’s extremely easy to install, just like all other Command products, and is actually a pretty big size and has multiple holes to drain water (smaller “flower petal” type designed ones in the middle and two large openings on each end’s side). This works perfectly for me to be able to be able to slip my charging cable through one of the holes and have my phone sit in it charging, and when I unplug my phone, the charger stays organized and upright because the “head” of the charger doesn’t fall back through the hole- it would be perfect for cord organization and easy access! Being that it’s hung on my wall, it’s not unattractive and actually blends in pretty well/is pretty clear in color. I’ve also put a small book, febreze, and cold medicine in it, so I would say it can hold a decent amount of weight. I think it would hold shampoo and conditioner bottles with no problem. Regarding some people not getting the “bathroom” command strips with their order- I did receive special “bathroom” strips with mine.

Doesn't fall and has many uses.

I have tried many shower caddies and the ones with suction cups ALWAYS fall. I've had this one for 6 months and it's still holding strong. It holds a lot! I also purchased another to help clear up space on my teeny tiny desk. These have multiple uses.

I've only had these "installed" for a couple of weeks but they seem to be holding firm, even with over sized shampoo and conditioner (the family-sized pump kind). We do take the bottles out for dispensing so as not to put too much pressure on the adhesive strip -- I wouldn't want to test its strength by ushing down on the dispenser while it's in the caddy. I only wish I had gone this route years ago. We have gone through SO MANY shower caddies -- the kind that hang over the shower head and claim to be rust proof, only to have them rust and stain the shower! I had resigned myself to buying a new shower caddy every 6 months. And bottles placed in the corners of the showers always foster mildew.... But those days are over! I love that these caddies can be placed anywhere in the shower, and they have drainage so water doesn't stand in them. I bought 2 and also got the razor holder. We will be moving soon, so I'm counting on the strip truly removing cleanly as advertised so that I can move the caddies to the new home. The frosted plastic look is nice too, to keep it from looking too cheap. These are great.

Good Product

I bought these after using other 3M Command shelves in a different shower and after months of use they’re still holding. Like the metal Command shelves I purchased these plastic ones also have design flaws. There are very large openings at the sides for water drainage that allow smaller things to fall through if bumped. I included this in my other review, and it bears repeating here. When hanging the shelf the instructions say not to use household cleaners to clean the surface. Ignore that. First clean the surface VERY WELL with whatever it takes to remove all dirt, soap scum, and hard water scale, then RINSE well to completely remove all residue, dry, and finally clean the area with the included alcohol pad. Once the alcohol has completely evaporated install the shelf. You should also clean the back of the mounting base with alcohol and let it evaporate prior to applying the Command strips. A side note. I used to work for a company that was acquired by 3M. 3M makes a broad variety of products and one of the things we were told when we were acquired is that “3M does not make the least expensive products, but we make the best products.” I personally disagree with that about some of their products, but that attitude is pervasive throughout the company. If you do have a problem with brackets breaking or tapes not holding I suggest you call 3M customer service, I have no doubt that they will try to make it right.

great shower caddy

I wanted to put a Shower Caddy in the shower to hold my Clarisonic facial brush and my facial soap. This is the right size, with lots of space. I followed the directions, and the Caddy is on there firmly. We have ceramic tile in the shower. I used the included alcohol wipe, pressed the Shower Caddy strips to the wall, lifted the Caddy off the hooky things, and pressed against the tape strip things for a full 30 seconds. Then I left the shower Caddy off of the hooky strips for a full 24 hours. (Used the shower that night, but the strips were not hit with direct water spray.) The next night I put the unit on and have been using it since. I really love it. I have been happy with all the Command products I have used. However, it says "clear frosted" on the Amazon description, and what I got was not clear, it was white. It's still attractive, though.

WAY better than the hanging shower baskets I'd have to replace every six months!

This is such a great shower caddy! It fits all of our shower products, and it does so neatly with room to spare. It's also stable, sturdy, and I can just slide it off the clips to wash it if I need to! I also got the command soap dish, and my shower is looking so organized. My current setup isn't so friendly to my former solution of the baskets that hang from the shower head. I was hesitant to try this because I figured it wouldn't hold, and I'd probably end up with a huge mess on my hands. I'm very happy I was wrong

Great for makeup too!

Great for organization! I bought this to store makeup in my tiny NYC apartment with literally zero storage/cabinet/drawers. It's perfect! Super fast and easy to install, holds firmly, looks pretty nice for the price. I also got a command razor holder to hold my brushes/eyeliner. Very happy! Might have to order a ton of these for all around the house.

Command Shower Caddy

My wife got really annoyed with the multitude of products we had in the tub area scattered around the edges. We used to have a rack that hung from the shower head but that rusted out so I was looking for something new. These shower caddies are amazing! I followed the directions and cleaned the part of the wall where they were going to be placed, stuck the Command Strip on, and let it dry for an hour before installing the caddy and loading it up. We have 2 installed in our one piece fiberglass tub/shower area (his & hers) and they easily hold several full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. The only word of caution I have it to make sure the caddies are properly installed on mounting clips (they slide on the clips) - when I didn't have it aligned properly the caddy looked like it was OK but did fall off the clips when loaded up. It gives a very satisfying "click" when locked in properly, then you can even shake it a little bit to make sure. Overall, these things are perfect for our use and I highly recommend them.
