This is a nice, heavy duty, well made pan
This is a nice, heavy duty well made pan. Much better made than the T-Fal frying pan I had already purchased that warped at normal frying pan temperatures. I haven't done any cooking with it yet, but I am very impressed with its sturdiness. I will update this feedback after I've had a chance to test drive it. I did get a chance to test drive and I think it is the best frying pan I've ever purchased. It washes up easily, no sticking inside or out, and the thickness of the metal means no warping of the pan at frying temperatures. Great pan!!!

The Perfect Saute Pan
I had looked everywhere for an 11 inch, 5-quart sauté pan with cover. This pan was exactly what I wanted to replace a previous pan I had used for years. By being 11" it means the pan is deeper than the common 12" pans that you can find anywhere. This pan fits my needs and I love it. The hard anodized coating makes cleanup a breeze and of course the glass cover allows for observing whatever is cooking. I am tempted to buy a second pan in case something should happen to the one I just bought. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Good quality
Had it several months, use it all the time. No complaints in use, wish it was a bit larger, not quite as wide as the one it replaced. But I looked at many pans before ordering this one. So many people had problems with various high quality pans. I’m very happy I got this one.

Great Product!
We were looking for a large pot where we cook could cook large dishes, but that the heat would be distributed well - and this was definitely a great buy! It is stable, not sticky, nice looking, and overall, good size.

Excellent Sauce, fry pan
Pan is nice and deep. I do a lot of "one pan dinners" and this awsome pan holds everything. You can fry in it, all vegetables, sauces, heats evenly, cleans extremely easily. Really love this pan!

YES, IT'S A BIT PRICEY, BUT ITS A TRULY WELL-MADE, HIGH-CAPACITY AND VERSATILE PIECE OF COOKWARE.
I love, love, love this pan! Yes, it was a bit expensive, but the quality of the stainless steel and non-stick coating are both superb, and in terms of overall functionality, it has replaced virtually every frying pan or skillet we own or use in our kitchen. With its well-sealed glass lid and deep sidewalls, its capable of almost every cooking application under the sun. In fact, I will soon be purchasing another one. Its THAT versatile for us.

Very Impressed
Recently, I decided to replace my very old, much loved 12" 5 quart saute pans because the non-stick coating was starting to peel off. They weren't very expensive pans but they worked wonderfully for 8 years. I decided on an updated version of my old saute pans and purchased two. One was ok but the second warped as soon as it was exposed to low heat (you could actually see the pan bow up as it got warm). Needless to say, that pan was useless and dangerous - it was spinning across my flat stovetop independently so it had to go. Since I definitely need at least two saute pans, I had to order a new saute pan. I came across this one & figured the reviews were good and the price wasn't too bad (more than I paid for the warped pan but look how that turned out!) so I decided why not & ordered it. When I removed the pan from the box, I was impressed with the construction & the weight. The lid fit securely and the pan felt good in my hand. After a quick wash, I used it to make dinner and absolutely loved it. It got hot much more quickly than my other pans and seemed more responsive to changes in temperature than the less expensive pan. Cleaning up was fast and easy too. I used it again today for meal prep for the week - chicken browned nicely & developed a nice crust, veggies looked good too. The pan seems to heat evenly, which is a nice change from my old pans. I also used it to make chicken tikka masala the other day & was very impressed with the temperature control. I would definitely recommend this saute pan to anyone who needs a high quality pan but doesn't want to pay a fortune. In fact, I was so impressed with this pan that I ordered a second one today.

Glad I found these pans!
I love this pan. Can't rate durability yet, really, I've only had it a couple of weeks. The be size is perfect. Lovr the weight of the pan and the deep sides. I see nothing about it that isn't exactly what I wanted and expected.

Durable and easy to clean
This “Cooks Standard 5 Quart/11-Inch Hard Anodized Nonstick Deep Saute Pan with Lid, Black” is perfect for families or people who like to cook a lot of food at once. I love to cook but hate to cook every single day. I cook a lot of food at once since I am always on the go. The size works great for sauces and pastas. Although it is an 11.5-inch instead of the more often seen 12-inch, the depth of the pan makes up for it. The heat distribution has been even so far, and I feel like I don’t have to cook at such a high heat anymore. The durability of the pan is evident. So far, I haven’t had any problems with scratching on the bottom, but I try not to use metal utensils because I’ve had problems in the past. For anyone weak in the wrists it does have a little more weight to it than some pans, but having the helper handle is very convenient and, as the name suggests, helpful. I’m excited that the pan is oven safe, and look forward to trying that feature out. Based on other reviews, I trust that the pan will be just fine in the oven. Cleaning the pan has been incredibly easy for me. The grime seems to wipe right off. To extend the life, I haven’t put it in the dishwasher and just wash it in warm, soapy water. However, it does claim to be dishwasher safe. You’ll have to try that out for yourself. Since I am a college kid, I was not happy with spending more than twenty dollars on just a pan. I had to spend this much money on the pan to get what I wanted; a large, oven safe, dishwasher safe pan to let me experiment with my crazy trial recipes. I do recommend this pan for anyone who loves to cook, is always on the go, or just needs a reliable pan. I hope this pan works out as well for you as it did for me. But remember! If you want to get your money’s worth of this product, wash the pan by hand instead of putting it in the dishwasher. Also, keep in mind to use rubber utensils if you don’t want to scratch the bottom of the pan.

Best addition to my kitchen I've made
I didn't know I was dealing with such terrible pans until I bought this through a gift card I received by my employer. In the past I wouldn't spend this much on one pan thinking they are all the same, and the price isn't bad to begin with. But I'm now aware of the difference in makes to my food and I'm buying a full set!
