Expensive, but the best
Lucky for me, I've learned more than I'd like about the various landscape spikes out there. For a plastic spike, these are the Rolls Royce of the bunch and you can't do any better. They do not flex and the heads do not break off, and they securely anchor the edging we were using into the ground. Unfortunately, they also cost significantly more than any other spike available, but you almost cannot do without them. Doing several hundred feet of edging, we did find a way to cut some costs though. Every few feet we used these spikes in the landscape edging to get everything about how we wanted. Then we went back with a big box of the cheaper ones (the do have issues with the heads breaking off and bending, but you get double for half the price) and used them to secure everything down. They don't work as well, but with the Dimex doing most of the work we haven't had any issues.

New edging on my brick pavers
Early this summer I found some commercial grade brick paver edging on sale. The old edging had lifted by frost a number of time and it was now old and falling apart from numerous repairs. The old edging use the flat steel l-shaped spikes for anchoring the edging. the new edging called for a round spike for retention. Local landscape sup[ply sold the spikes in badge of six. Need fifty to seventy spikes to complete the repair. The Dimex eight inch spiral spikes worked perfectly.

Need these with Dimex edging
Anyone who has bought a Dimex no dig edging knows they don't give you enough spikes at all. This box did the job for all my edging needs. If you get the edging that comes in straight 1 foot pieces you won't need as many spikes as the edging that bends easily. You'll need about 3 pikes per a foot since the sun will wreck havoc on the edging shape.

A Necessary Addition to the EasyFlex Kit
If you are using the EasyFlex No-Dig Edging Kit, then these additional anchoring spikes are a must have! The original kit comes with 12 spikes, which only allows for putting one every 3 feet or so. You will need more spikes. And these are the ones to get. I personally would recommend putting a spike every 2 feet at least. The more you have, the more you will be pleased with the EasyFlex Edging Kit. These are well made, strong, and none of them broke when installing with a rubber mallet. They go in easy, and stay in. Good spikes for a good edging kit.

You can start with a good push and use a mallet to drive them down ...
Used these with no-dig lawn edging. They are solid. You can start with a good push and use a mallet to drive them down all the way. I used them on every third or fourth hole depending of the curvature of the edging. The edging is nailed down with no give. They hold tight and take a little effort to remove which is great aspect.

Better to have and not need than need and not have.
Always better to have extras and not need them rather than need them to finish a project and not have them. If you are like me and do a lot of curves with the edging you will need more of these nylon nails to hold the edging in place. Long straight runs don't require as many nails, but the value of the Dimex EasyFlex edging is in the ability to make the most beautiful and attractive curves.

Good solid anchors
These can easily be hammered into the ground and held up well. I can also pull them out if need be. Maybe the ground has some moisture with the winter rain and make the process simple. I was concerned that it may have problem with rocks, etc. but not one encountered any difficulties.

Success for both flower garden and veggie garden
I've used this on no-dig edging for both flower beds and veggie gardens. For the most part I was able to put them into the ground by stepping on them with my feet. I live in the PNW and have good soil which makes it drive stakes. I like that they come in a cardboard box rather than a plastic bag like the ones that came with my edging.

Very sturdy spiral nylon stakes
Where I live the ground is clay and rock, therefore, trying to drive a stake into the ground requires the strength of a bodybuilder. Most synthetic stakes simply will not hold up, so I was skeptical when I purchased these Dimex nylon stakes. They worked perfectly. Strong enough to get through my tough terrain. They look great with rubber landscaping border that they have secured. Glad I purchased a few extra, I'm sure I will find other uses for them.

Exactly as expected
Being spikes, I expected them to be sharp on one end and not the other and they are exactly that. They seem sturdier than the spikes that came with the yard trim pieces I installed and I used these in addition to the ones that were supplied. They are easily installed and I didn't once attempt to install them upside down.
