This package is HUGE, I didn't expect it to be such a large bag. I normally buy the small packages at the supermarket for $2 each. This price on AMZ is four times what I usually pay, but I got 8 times the content. Just for your reference, the normal small bags you find at the grocers are only 3 oz bags.

We love these crispy onion pieces on salads and My Husband puts some on most everything savory. There yummy on potatoes.I have read in other reviews that they arrive broken up,these are not advertised as rings, the picture on the bag shows pieces and that’s what you get. Also there are many complaints about the ziplock,it works fine for me,just need to be sure to cut above it when opening bag and make sure no crumbs are clogging the track.

These are typically eaten on top of other stuff, like green bean casserole, baked potatoes, etc., but they are so delicious eaten by themselves, like an onion blossom at a restaurant but without the slimy onion. When I need a little snack I will sometimes pick these up and munch down (beware the calories!). For some reason, whatever they do for my palate, my red wine tastes so much better after eating these. So good.

Oh wow, do I love this product. Great flavor, excellent size and price. I'm blown away by how little the cost is for such quality. These crispy onions have completely stolen the spotlight away from French's. I use Fresh Gourmet crispy onions for all my cooking. The ONLY thing I would mention is that you should be aware of your salt usage when eating these; use a bit less than usual and you're golden :) Enjoy!

OK, first off, I don't usually like this kind of thing. And second, I'm torn. If I praise these heavenly bits of crisp, oniony perfection too highly, will there be a rush to purchase, creating a scarcity? (Oh no!) Or should I say nothing, ensuring my own supply . . . I can't very well accomplish the latter, though, since I've already ensnared at least three other people just in the last couple weeks. One other thing? You will read the portion size once. Just once. And you will never look at it again.

I used to get these at Costco, however they only carry them seasonally where I shop. I thought I was out of luck until I found them on Amazon. To prevent the greasy residue at the bottom of the bag I put in a paper towel in the bottom when I first open the bag. It soaks up the grease and I'm sure many unwanted calories. I love these on salads best. I have also separated them into sandwich size bags for more compact storage in the refrigerator. I put in 1/2 of a paper towel when I transfer them to sandwich bags. Works great.

These are mild, crispy, and delicious. My husband and I don't do too many carbs. He is trying to control diabetes without taking insulin, and sugar and starch trigger my autoimmune disease. The crispy onions work to add a little flavor and crunchy texture to modified recipes for things like taco salad and chop suey, They are good. The only problem with them is that my husband will eat the whole bag.

I can't tell you how obsessed I am with these. I add them to my salads at work. I just take in a bag of lettuce, my dressing, and some chopped veggies, throw these on the top, and it feels like I'm at a fancy restaurant. You can also use them to make green bean casserole. I've frankly been known to sneak a few straight. They do make your breath smell a bit oniony, though. Keep the mints on hand for after lunch! They also can feel a *bit* greasy.

These are seriously delicious, I mean, on just about everything. It doesn't even matter to me that I can't seem to get the resealable bag resealed, they don't usually last that long once opened. And if they last a day, or more (amazing), I store them in the fridge, no problem. These are a great alternative to the other kind of 'french fried onions' mainly because they do not contain any 'crap.' You should recognize most if not all the ingredients and although they are seriously addictive, in too small a package, and a tad oily, there's no junk in there to prevent you from enjoying them to their fullest. While they last of course.

I have come up with a very quick and easy use for this product. When I am starving to death and don't want to eat many more calories than I already consumed at dinner, I heat up some water and add about a teaspoon of beef bullion powder to a large soup mug. I then add about 1/4 cup of these onions and a few dried tomatoes if I have them. I now have a quick and easy snack which tastes like a crunchy version of onion soup. It is filling and tasty, albeit a bit salty. The bag is fairly large so you have other options as well. It is good on macaroni and cheese or any other dish which is a bit on the bland side. It is also great with grilled cheese sandwiches to give them just a bit of crunchiness. One word of caution is that you must never, ever give them to your dog or cat. Onions are very toxic to canines or felines and normally a carnivore does not esp go out and eat onions. In this case, the pets are attracted to the product due to the deep fried coating. You must be careful not to let any of them slip onto the floor while you are preparing foods because the dog, esp, will gobble them up. I once had a dog which got into dehydrated onion flakes which were in a plastic jar located in box on the floor I had packed a box of spices and kitchen staples to transport to another location. The dog got into the box overnight while I was sleeping. As a result this dog was near death. Onions cause a profound hemolytic anemia which results in a moribund animal. Keep this product stored in some location which the dog absolutely cannot access as they are very attracted to the coating on the onions.
