Excellent quality--would have loved even more sizes!

I love my coffee, red wine, lemonade, and homemade blueberry smoothies; but my teeth certainly don't! That's where these re-usable straws come in. The quality is excellent. The large straw for smoothies turned out to be a bit more than needed--I found that I preferred using one of the smaller ones, as they took less suction to draw. Also would have loved to have a couple of shorter straws to use for my coffee cup and wine glass. The longer straws work beautifully for bottles of beer or mineral water. The plastic carrying case allows me to keep a straw in my purse for dining out. (And if anyone makes a snarky comment, I just flash them my unstained pearly whites!) The brushes work beautifully for cleaning, and occasionally I run them all through the dishwasher. One suggestion: Rinse out your straw immediately after using to save scrubbing later.

Very pleased

These came in a nice storage pouch. Two cleaning brushes are included. The straws are heavy duty and the variety of sizes made this a great pick. We make smoothies and boba tea at home and the largest size is great for both. Previously we were using Tervis reusable plastic straws but these are much more durable and nicer to drink from.

Will not harm sea turtles!!!

After seeing the viral video that has been going around that showed a poor sea turtle having a plastic straw removed from it's nasal cavity, I KNEW I could not use plastic straws ever again! I love these. Perfect size and the cleaning brush is a great addition! I will be buying more of these as gifts for friends and health coaching clients!

Perfect alternative to plastic

Now that everyone is getting rid of plastic straws, I thought Id get on the bandwagon. These are perfect. The package comes with straight, bent and wide smoothie straws all in a nice clear pouch. Dishwasher safe, these clean beautifully and they don't rust after washing. I'm so happy with these straws and the price was amazing. You can't find an 11pc set for this price. The smoothie straw is so good, it is even perfect for Bubble tea. This set is amazing and if you want to help the environment, buy them now, before everyone realizes how great they are and price goes up.

Read reviews/complaints for other SS straws, not as pictured, diameter too small, bent/not straight, etc... So I had to let it be known that these are the real deal - Straight, 1/4 in. or 6.35mm diameter (ID), and 8 1/2 in. or 215.89mm long. Perfect for my daily protein shakes, and they don't fall through the silverware basket in the dishwasher! Cheers,

Nice assortment of sizes and diameters, including one that looks like the thick one from Starbucks

These are great, and the cleaning brushes are very helpful. I have also put them through the dishwasher (standing up in a silverware basket that has small holes in the bottom). I carry two or three in my tote bag and can even carry the shorter ones in a pocket of my purse. I expect these will last forever and should really start counting how many plastic straws I am *not* using because it's amazing how many plastic ones you can go through.

MUST HAVE for smoothie families!! GREAT stainless steel straws.

We make A LOT of smoothies in our home. Our Vitamix gets a serious daily work out and we also go through lots of cups and straws. A friend of mine gave me a big metal straw called a Polar Pipe once and I loved it, but I made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher once and it was destroyed. I didn't realize it was hand wash only. Well, we're a "throw everything in the dishwasher" family in addition to being a smoothie family so that just wasn't going to fly. I found these and decided to give them a shot and I LOVE them! Not only are the longer than regular landfill clogging, sea creature killing plastic bendy straws (so I can use a big plastic cup and have adequate sipping clearance over the lid of the cup without having to go fishing - see pics) but they are wider too, so I no longer have problems with chunks of frozen banana clogging up the works! NOTHING gets stuck in these straws! They're not so wide though that it's overwhelming to drink out of. Just right in my opinion! It's kinda like the width of a McDonalds straw but a little bigger. You can see my side by side comparison with a regular straw. The regular straw fits inside these and can slide through easily. I also love how the stainless steel helps keep your drink icy cold all the way to your mouth! It's a little thing, but sometimes it's all about the little things, am I right? The best part about these by far is that I can throw them in the dishwasher. I mean, isn't that the best part of any kitchen gadget/utensil?? These don't stain, they don't rust, they don't chip, bend or break and they don't turn colors! Also, some of you might be thinking, "Ew, I don't want my beverage to taste like metal!" but they don't! Don't think it's like sucking on an old spoon because it's not. In fact it's way better than drinking through a plastic straw because there is no BPA or other chemicals involved! For those of you hand washers out there, this pack of straws also comes with a cute and handy little brush for cleaning them! Even though I'm a dishwasher gal, I'm totally keeping this brush by my sink because it could absolutely be used for cleaning all sorts of different things like medicine syringes etc. My one word of caution for those of you who are not used to using metal straws is to BE CAREFUL the first few times, because while the straws won't chip, your teeth will if you attack your beverage like a wolf taking down a caribou. GENTLY people, gently! Once you drink with them a few times, your mouth and face and teeth and tongue will know where to do and you won't find yourself banging your teeth with them every time you take a drink. 5 well deserved stars from me on these straws! Perfect Stainless Steel Straw for my Yeti Rambler

Because I live in the desert, I always have a glass of water by my side, including when I am in the car. . .and I always used disposable plastic cups. At a recent get-together with extended family, I was convinced to no longer use plastic but get a stainless steel cup. We immediately found an excellent cup, but I wanted to use a straw with it. So, in keeping with the logic of not using plastic, I searched for the perfect stainless steel straw. . .and found it! Although I only use the shorter straight version, my grandkids are excited about the other options that were included in the packet of straws.

A variety to fit all needs!

These wonderful straws are pleasant to use, easy to clean, and with the velvet bag provided, can easily be taken along in a purse or bag for use in restaurants! I was extremely pleased with the different sized straws for short cups, tall cups, heavy drinks (fat straw), bent straws, straight straws. Three cleaning brushes help make sure there is no residue left when washing! I have been recommending them to all my friends and family.

Exactly what we were looking for

My wife was looking for "sturdy" straws for travel and other situations. Much of the time in foreign countries, it's not safe to drink from cans or bottles directly, so straws are the key. Plastic straws aren't durable and aren't easy to clean. These will be great to use for these kinds of instances. And they will be easy to clean with alcohol, etc. between uses. I got really sick near the end of a trip, as that one time I drank directly from a bottle, rather than use a straw. My stomach was really upset for a couple of days - and I'm real healthy person. It's a reality than many places have bugs with hair on their chest compared to the stuff we deal with in the US. No problem for regulars in the country, but can cause real discomfort for people not from there. I paid the price once and learned my lesson. this product will be great for future trips.
