Very big size. Nice
Love it. Perfectly what I was looking for. It's huge and will fit my family of 4 on it during our trip to Sanibel Island in 3 weeks :)

Like the mat alot
Great mats, I have one I use for the beach but this year for Bonnaroo I ordered 11 to completely cover our campsite..u must put a tarp under them or water will seep up from the grass. I duck taped them together to make a large mat to cover the space...the tape pulled off after four days without hurting the mat..great for camping it rained really hard one morning on Sunday our camp site was dry..easy to store I have them all in a tote ready for Bonnaroo next year.

Terrific Buy!
It's perfect for what it is. Two can lie on it comfortably and you really don't need your towel. Whatever the material is, it's quite soft. I put my chair on the front edge under my umbrella and spread this in front of it. When I wanted to get out in full sun, I just shifted to the mat without having to move my towel and without getting covered in sand. Perfect.

I Would Buy Again and Again
Wow! I am so glad I this with me to the beach. I purchased the standard size (not the bigger one) and this is comfortable enough for 2 large adults. The entire week I was at the beach it was very windy so I surrounded the edges with sand while I waded in the ocean for hours (this was after a hurricane Alberto hit Panama City to give you an idea of how windy it was). The sand held it perfectly in place. When I was finished I just shook the sand right off. No sand came with me on this mat. It also kept the sand off me while laying on it. The top handle strap did break when I pulled it up but that just isn't a deal breaker for me. It folds up nicely in velcro and well, who needs handles (especially for the price). I will use this out in the yard as well.

Awesome! It folds up easily and the handles appear ...
Awesome! It folds up easily and the handles appear to be sewn on well with a little velcro latch part. I love using these types of blankets at the park because they are no easy to maintain. The blanket doesn't let dirt, water, sand or bark chips just stuck on it. I got the 60" x 78" size and 5 people were able to comfortably sit on it.

Great mat for the beach and picnics
I bought this mat when it is was on sale and it has been a great item to have in our house. I have young children and we use it to go on picnics at the park and we take it to the beach. It is nice because dirt and sand slide right off. I read where some people have difficulty folding up the mat, but my husband has had no issues. One other bonus - you don't have to wash your picnic blanket when you have this.

Used a lot in 2 summers
I've used this mat for 2 summers now. It still looks like new. I use it both in front of our camper door, so it gets walked on all the time, and as beach mat. I am very happy with it. Wish it came in other colors as the blue and green is pretty bright which is fine for the beach, a bit garish for RVS. I like that it is light weight and folds up so small, easy to store or carry.

Yes you need these
Where have these been all my life? We used them at the beach to put our towels on. We set up two side by side to claim our territory and put our towels on top. The towels got much less sandy, and on a damp day they stayed dry because they weren’t right on the damp sand. They just made a super foundation to hang out on, and were very light weight and seem durable. We’ve used them about eight days so far, and won’t be going to the beach without them next summer.

We used to picnic on blankets or beach towels. This is SO MUCH BETTER.
We used to picnic on blankets or beach towels. This is SO MUCH BETTER. It's really lightweight and compact, and folds out to a large size (with cheerful colors). It sheds water, sand, and dirt. If you make a big mess (like a jar of jelly), just hose it off when you get home. It won't absorb water, so it dries almost instantly. The plastic is in a woven design, so it offers limited protection on wet ground and little protection on mud. It will handle damp grass fine. Folding it back up is a little like folding a map - you need to understand how it goes or you won't get the velcro to line up (which, itself, is usually not much of a problem).

Game changer for beach going.
We used to take a blanket to the beach to put under our towels to protect from heat and sand. Problem is, towels can be hard to place down and fold in the wind, and require washing. This may has none of those problems. It's easy to fold and the built in Velcro and handles are great. It is so lightweight I often forget I'm carrying it in our beach bag. The 60" by 78" is perfect for 2 people with large beach towels. My only complaint is that if there's a lump of sand underneath, it can be difficult to smooth it out once you're on the mat. I've resorted to just punching it slightly until the lump goes down. :-) Pro tip: make sure you weigh down the corners with a beach bag or small cooler on windy days.
