Awesome desks! Glad I took the risk to try them despite the negative reviews!
I ordered 2 of these desks, due to the great price I was able to get these for! I was a little skeptic about them after reading some of the bad reviews, but I'm quite happy that my experience wasn't bad! I live in a border town in Canada, and to buy these desks would have been a little over $250, with 3 weeks shipping. Snagged these desks for $69 each, and even after paying the sales tax and duty and the border, I still came out ahead with only 2 days of shipping! We made sure to inbox them carefully, and inspect every inch of the wood for pre existing cracks in the wood itself. Besides a few cosmetic scratches and a few scratched ends, the desks arrived in near perfect condition. 5/5 for shipping! Assembly was a little confusing. But taking your time and making sure you're using the right parts you should have no problems at all. My husband and I put one together in about an hour. 3/5 for the instructions. They really could make those a LOT better. My husband and I wanted to make a large U shape desk for our office, and these desks had the right measuments for our room. Sadly we did have to mod the desks as they are not reversalble with their ends. With a little cursing and about 2 hours of carefully pre-drilling holes and slow assembly, we ended with 2 desks that fit nearly perfect in our room! 5/5 for display! For the price we paid, I'm very happy with our final result. It looks good and gives us both lots of working space! Over all great buy on Amazon!

This Desk is Bae
So, I read ALL the negative reviews and looked at desks for days on Amazon when my mom said she'd get me a new one for Xmas. I decided to take a chance on this one. I'm so glad I did. As shown, I have a ginormous (and very heavy) PC and a decent setup going on. I wanted an L desk that could handle holding all of my stuff with an aim at gaming/streaming. I had no broken parts upon delivery. Pros: -Heavy and sturdy. Doesn't wobble. Everything lined up beautifully. -The shelving is bigger/deeper than I thought it would be tbh. -More than enough room for multiple monitors, your keyboard and mouse, a nice desk mat, and a bunch of other peripherals. (see pic) -Extremely comfortable height for long-term computer use/gaming. Very easy on my wrists combined with a thick mat. I went from a 32" high desk to this 28", and the difference in comfort amazing. - The cable management holes are bae once I utilized them better. Cons: -The only con I have is from a one or two unclear parts in the instructions. Things to note: -DON'T use power tools to assemble this. You will crack and ruin it. Just use a screwdriver and a hammer. -DON'T over-tighten screws or you may crack something as well. -This can be put together by one person. However, you might need 2 people to flip it safely (you build it upside down) -The instructions are iffy, but take your time rereading, and you'll be fine. -My lack of cable management in my pics is no fault of the desk. I just got lazy after building this thing + another hour of redoing my setup. -For size reference, my monitor is 24", my extended mouse pad is 31.5"x11.8", and my PC tower is L 20"x W 8.5" x H 210" x (aka big af) and all of it sits on the desk with more than enough room.

Great desk space. Very sturdy and strong. Great Value for Money!
I purchased this desk for use in a home office in a very cosy (read small) apartment. Although Amazon assured delivery in 8 days (out to Alaska) it arrived in 5 days, much to my delight. Yes, the box was heavy, but once I unpacked and verified all the different parts, and studied the clearly written instructions, I was able to assemble this desk with no problem. There were no scratches or damages to the item for which I was very pleased. I very much appreciated that the assembly was arranged in modules, and then it was a cinch to connect the modules. There was also a suggestion from the manual (and from other reviews and Youtube videos) that assembly would require between 2 - 3 persons. Well, it was only lil ole me (with limited previous furniture assembly experience) but I was able to complete the assembly on my own, using a power screwdriver and hammer, in under 45 minutes. Then I was able to carefully position the desk where I wanted it, and, using 2 very careful 90° turns, upturn it. Note: It's assembled face down on the floor/carpet. If I had to suggest any improvement, I would say maybe the addition of a keyboard tray and at least one small draw for pens, etc. Great desk space. Very sturdy and strong. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and look forward to extended use and valuable office time on this desk. Thanks, Ameriwood! Thanks, Amazon!

Easy to build and great product for price
Very easy to put together - I did it alone and in around 30 minutes with just a screwdriver. The wood finish on top looks very sharp and makes you think it is a more expensive desk then what it really is. It is a bit more narrow then most other desks I was looking at so make sure you use measuring tape to get a feel of the width before buying. With that said, it’s perfect for me with 2 monitors and keyboard/mouse on the desk. I plan on getting a desk mounted monitor stand at some point for more real estate but even without it’s not bad at all. The quality of the material was perfect, no knicks, scratches or blemishes at all. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend the desk to anyone that needs an affordable L-sharped desk.

WIPE OFF LIQUIDS!
Definitely worth the price. Assembly is very easy and only took me about half an hour, tops. Warning, do NOT let rubbing alcohol settle on your desk! Wipe it off immediately, it ruins the surface! UPDATE: 5 months later I'm going to be blunt on these comments. I decided to update my review because I recently recommended this desk to a friend of mine and couldn't help but see the negative reviews. Most of them were regarding the poor quality/craftsmanship of the desk. In my opinion, the wood feels sturdy, period. I put a lot of weight on my desk, but of course, only on top of the parts where the legs are under the desk, never in the middle. I do this not because the middle sections are weak, but because I'm sure that's the logical thing to do. Another issue I saw on the complaints had something to do with their results after assembly. I am going to be honest and say I have no idea how these people's desks resulted in the manner they have in their photos. I'm a short skinny Asian guy and assembled this desk alone with no help, by just following the instructions. Yes there was one instance where a hole was supposed to be at a certain spot, but wasn't there. All I did was drive the screw in anyway, surprise there was a hole there, just covered, God knows why. I guess I am kind of suggesting that people who have f'd up their desks, might or probably f'd up following instructions. That or they got one of the lemons, it happens, tell Amazon, they'll help. I don't think it warrants people to just dismiss the product and say, this desk is shit don't buy it. Oh and when everyone said the corners and edges are sharp, that one's true. This desk has blades for edges, I covered it with electric tape. whoop dee doo, moving on. So to summarize: actual CONS: - razor sharp edges - can't let liquids air dry on the surface, it will ruin the "paint"

If you're like me, you've probably spent HOURS agonizing over picking ...
If you're like me, you've probably spent HOURS agonizing over picking out the 'right' desk for your new place. You don't want to spend money and regret it. Well, let me tell you, this could be the one for you. Great, solid desk with lots of leg room and so easy to use both parts of the L with a swivel chair. Supports my oversized computer tower and had plenty of room to also mount 2 24 inch screens on the same side. I've sat on it to test the strength and it doesn't even so much as creak. Super easy to put together, great color, and just all around the perfect choice for a new desk on a budget. I worried that I'd end up with something flimsy because I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. This desk is perfect for my needs as an artist and gamer.

Good desk for the price
I give this desk 5 stars because it does what it was meant to do as long as it is put together properly and not moved. Now I will also say you get what you pay for, this is a great desk for the price but it isn't made out of the most expensive material, for the price I hope no one would think it was lol. Also if you are planning on moving I would not suggest this desk for you. It is press board, I had my 1st one for about 9 months before I moved and I took it partially apart to do so. I was able to put it back together but it was wobbly after I did and then I decided I wanted to scoot it about 3 feet over in the room it was in and it collapsed when I tried to. That being said being on a budget I did order the same thing again, I don't plan on moving now and it does what I need it to do perfectly, it holds multiple monitors and I can fit my stand alone drawers under it. I do wish it had a pull out keyboard tray though but that is a minor annoyance and I knew that it didn't have one when purchasing it. Also mine came without any instructions, that could be detrimental to someone that has not already put one of these together. It isn't rocket science but if I would have received the 1st one without instructions I would have probably destroyed it trying to figure out how to put it together lol. Make sure you get those black lock things in and tightened everywhere correctly, otherwise you will have a wobbly desk. If you can tell by my technical terms for things I am not a carpenter lol, I put this thing together in about an hour by myself.

Beautiful, sturdy and very useful desk.
This desk is beautiful and sturdy! Ease to assemble. I said ease, not fast.. it took me about an hour, but I did it with my toddler's "help". I used a power screwdriver, and you will need a hammer for some of the assembling. There were no scratches or anything wrong with the desk at all. Just perfectly packaged. Love the color and finishes. Great deal for the price for sure. Just beautiful. This desk is perfect for small spaces, as you can see on the pictures I provided we share the office space with our dining room. This desk provides lots of working space, without taking up so much space.

Perfect for me
Saw a lot of reviews that were both praising this desk, and giving it low marks. I figured, you get what you pay for, and was expecting nothing special. The desk arrived fairly quickly, seemed to have been lost in transit at one point, but it arrived, and was packaged flawlessly- top marks for that. Assembly was very simple, you get these special screws that stick out, and you basically slip them into the holes and lock them in with a special lock tight screw that they have. all in all this made for a very simple assembly, and will make for an extremely easy take down, as all you need to do is unlock the and slip them apart again (there are four places where you will need to unscrew, but that's no biggie). There were no scrapes or scratches other than the ones I added with my carelessness during assembly. the desk space is a little tight for your legs (you'll be bumping into the little shelf thing on the right side quite often, so be cautious and conscientious to avoid banging your knee on the side. the table space itself is quite roomy, I have a large TV on top, A mousepad, my keyboard, my Tartarus gaming pad, and my microphone all set up on the right hand part of the desk, and have my laptop with its own dedicated mouse and mousepad on the left portion. For the price, this is the perfect desk for me, and I was able to assemble it myself (though flipping it up was a tad challenging after assembly, mostly because I had a tight space, and the desk weighs 70~ pounds, so if you don't think you can do that yourself, make sure to grab someone to assist you. Overall the desk is excellent, feels sturdy, doesn't give, and looks beautiful in the espresso variation. Great desk! Will definitely consider more of these later on. I opted for a Homall gaming chair (the red and black racer type with a leg rest) to go with this purchase, and for a little over 200 bucks you have a fully functional gaming center, and the chair fits perfectly with the arm rests lowered slightly. Perfect combo purchase in my opinion.
