Surprised with the Quality of TV. Recommend it to anyone

I bought this as a 2nd TV for my kids and placed it in the kitchen. I've always bought popular TV brands but for my 2nd TV I wasn't willing to spend so much money. I decided to give this TV a shot. I bought a 3 year Square Trade warranty to reduce my risk. This TV is excellent. I've had zero issues with the TV. Sound is great even though some reviews suggested that the sound was low. If you're looking for home theater sound then you'll be disappointed but if you're looking at normal sound that is audible in a medium size room than this TV will not disappoint you. This TV is compatible with Roku stick. It DOES NOT come with one! Just compatible. I had an old Roku device so I ended up using that and simply velcroed it to the bottom of TV (as you can clearly see in the picture). TV is easy to mount and is really slim profile. Very light weight too. DVD player works fine and is added benefit for my kids. We get educational DVDs from the library all the time. So with 1 month of usage this is indeed an excellent find.

I keep a TV/DVD combo in my home office to preview videos for classes I teach and to occasionally catch the news. The DVD in my last one stopped working so I decided to replace the whole thing as it had a microscopic screen. This one is AMAZING. The unit has a thin black plastic frame around the screen, and would blend in seamlessly with the decor in any room. The picture is exceptionally sharp and the sound is excellent. The DVD player works smoothly and quietly. Have never heard of the brand but it shipped with batteries for the remote and even a screwdriver to connect the base to the bottom. The back of the unit is clearly marked regarding what goes where, so there is virtually no way to become confused about attachments. The direction booklet is well-written. The unit was a snap to set up and begin using. You need to be in a clear line to the unit to use the remote effectively - this isn't one where you can click from anywhere and through anything and still have it work. If each chunk of cardboard has a limited lifespan in your home before it is recycled then beware, as it is printed on the outside of the box that the item would need to be shipped back in the original carton and trappings in order for the warranty to be honored. That noted, I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase!

Very happy,good quality picture and sound at a low price

We were looking for a TV/DVD combo for our home gym which isn't wired for cable. Didn't want to spend a lot of money or get too big of a tv but have been very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this. I was a little nervous buying an,off brand but to be honest I think the picture quality is as good as anything I have seen, especially on a 32 inch tv. The sound is especially good and fills the room with deep robust sound, not tinny. For the price you really can't beat it. Well see how well it lasts but so far we are very happy. Mounted easily to the bracket and all of the HDMI and usb ports are handy. We have connected a spare Roku stick we weren't using so can alao easily stre Netflix and Hulu. Essentially a smart tv and DVD for a great price.

Excellent set at any price...for around $200 it's a steal!

Excellent! TV = beautiful. Settings=Many. Settings=Tricky (submenus and I had to disable "no activity power off" if you leave it on it will just shut off if no buttons are pressed). Audio=Subpar, dinky speakers. Remote=Very complete. DVD=Excellent (I use one for work to loop DVDs all day on display and after months they are still perfect). Connections=It has everything! HDMI, RCA/Composite, Headphone jack, TOSlink Digital Optical, Component...You can connect everything you need to this set with no problem. Swivel base is nice. Setup takes only minutes to mount the base and plate to the bottom. Compact, easy to use, great quality at a good price. I bought SIX of them and all have been perfect.

This TV is wonderful! Very easy to set up and I love that it has THREE HDMI ports. One port for my cable box, another for my DVD/VCR combo box, then I picked up a ROKU streaming media stick for the third port. I can easily switch from one to the other with just the press of a button. The picture quality & color is amazing. All the way around it was a great purchase! UPDATE: I added a composite set up from the TV to DVD/VCR combo when I realized that although I could watch VHS tapes, the combo was not getting a recordable signal. I had to do some fast thinking to figure out how to "jury" rig the two together with adapters so that I can record. Now I can record from cable or Roku. My solution might not work for everyone, and all my new wiring fixes might confuse others, but I got it all to work.Now I can record either my favorite TV shows or Roku movies.

Very nice and well worth the price

Ok so it was time to update the little one from the 20 inch tv to the 32 inch. I didn't want to invest a lot of money, just because of how dissapointed we were when we had brought a "smart tv" which we soon found out that it wasn't so smart after all. Nonetheless this has the DVD player in it which is a super plus. This picture and sound is great. The sound can be adjusted, from pop, to rock and so on. It has an equalizer that you can play with. no complaint here with the sound.

A good, simple, AFFORDABLE HD TV.

I have no complaints about this TV. It was easy to set up, picture and sound quality are just fine and you really can't beat the price. It doesn't have any "frills", but who cares? 720p versus 1080i is (to me) totally interchangeable. I really can't tell any difference (we also own a much larger 1080i tv). I will say that we use this tv as a BEDROOM tv, so I can't comment on how well it would function in a large, noisy family room, but for an "additional" tv, it really fills the bill.

Purchased 4 of these TVs for work to run our DVD-led parenting classes. I was a little skeptical because it's an off brand but I was pretty excited to see the great quality of the TV when I took it out of the box. I'm not a fan of a thick plastic rim around the screen and this does not have that. My husband really liked how everything is color coded on the back (a geek thing) and it has more inputs than we need (see photo). Screen quality is great for what we need it for. Yes, there are better screens (1080) but you'll pay more for it. For our needs, we weren't looking for that. Besides, unless they're side-by-side, does anyone really know the difference? Eh, probably not. I was also skeptical because some reviews said the sound was tinny but there are enough sound adjustments to clear that right up. The default adjustment was tinny, yes, but under the Menu options, there's plenty of choices to work with, even changing it to surround sound. The DVD player is super easy to work (no loud noise like a couple of reviews talked about). At first when the TV turns on, it makes a very low almost fan like sound but it's only for a couple of seconds, if that. Once it takes in the DVD, it plays it immediately. No need to jam it in, either. Once the DVD is in the slot, it automatically pulls it in. It's beautiful We're super impressed and if we need additional TVs, this is what we'll get for sure.

I LOVE THIS TV I PURCHASED 2 FOR MY BOYS. I LOVED THEM SO MUCH I WENT TO BUY ONE FOR MY ROOM BUT THEY SOLD OUT SO I SETTLED FOR A DIFFERENT ONE ( with no dvd player). MY SON DECIDED TO TAKE THE NEW ONE AND GAVE ME HIS AND I JUST LOVE IT!! NO NEED FOR A CABLE BOX IN MY ROOM OR A CD PLAYER.I JUST DON'T LIKE THAT WHEN YOU ARE PLAYING YOUR MUSIC THE SCREEN STAYS BLUE.SO I COVERED IT WITH A ROBE AND FELL ASLEEP LISTENING TO MY TAMAR BRAXTON CD!! GREAT QUALITY, GREAT PRIZE, LOVE ALL THE PORTS FOR HDMI ETC,ETC.JUST LOVE IT!!
