Pros: -Sound quality is excellent. Rich, warm tones with a balanced sound overall. -Feels well made -Good seal around ears -Easy to adjust size -Awesome that it comes with a plug adapter for different uses. Clicks in for a firm hold Cons: -I did have to move it around quite a bit to find a comfortable spot to let it sit. Once I found it, it was ok. Could I wear it for hours day in, day out, maybe not. I'll see once I break it in a bit. My head size I think is on the average to small side for women. Overall fit was ok otherwise, just the strength of the spring of the head band felt like it was a bit much. -The instructions that came with it are kind of confusing as it talks about how to fold it down. I know the next model up folds and this one doesn't, but it wasn't very clear that that bit of the diagram didn't refer to this model. Would I buy this again? Yes.

Amazing sound quality at a very reasonable price. You will hear things in music that you've never noticed before because your old headphones simply didn't offer the clarity that these do. My only negative is that it doesn't have the detachable wire like the higher end models, which wouldn't be a problem, but my main complaint is that the cord is actually a little TOO long for me, but that's totally fine. Better a cord that's too long as opposed to too short. And again, for this price, it's hard to even complain about that. They seem well-built as well. The plastic of the headphones is tough and premium, but also reasonable light. Likewise, the cord seems planted in the headphones really well, so simply yanking on the cord a few times definitely won't ruin these things, whereas on those really cheap headphones, drop them, yank them just a few times, and they're pretty much dead. Not these. On SOUND, remember that these are "professional/monitor" style headphones. They offer a very "true" sound. Quality highs, mids and lows. Many headphones seem to boost certain frequencies, namely bass, which some may prefer, but that would cause a manipulated sound out of the box. These M20x's offer a much more "true", neutral sound, which could THEN be adjusted on your computer or sound card to suit YOUR needs, as opposed to the manufacturer manipulating the sound of music for you out of the box. Beats by Dre are notorious for that kind of nonsense, and their lack of sound quality shows. I much prefer a true sound like this, and I bet most of you will too! The Audio-Technica M20x's hit WELL above their weight class for audio quality, and is build tough to match. If you're looking for a serious audio upgrade for a very reasonable price, these may just be the ticket!

I love Audio-Technica products. I've had a pair of M50s for 10 years and have been extremely happy with them. After getting tired of buying cheap headphones for my daughters every few months (because they'd break), I was looking at getting something better. For the price, these are incredible. No, they're not as good as my M50s. But they're also a third the price. If you want a really good pair of headphones but aren't quite ready to buy pro quality stuff at pro prices, these are perfect.

I had been using Sony headphones for the last 7 years, and for the most part, they were fine. They're primarily used with my computer at my desk, listening to and occasionally editing audio files. I found myself in need of a set with a longer cord, after a driver update disabled the front end ports on my tower and wouldn't roll back. I also wanted something a bit nicer than the last Sony set I had (MDRZX300). came across these Audio-Technica phones during a search, and immediately liked the 3 meter cord. Then checking the specs, these had far better components than the Sony - and they didn't cost $100. Ordered them and they are excellent. They fully cover the ear and do a much better job of noise cancellation, and the sound is great. Music, voice.. doesn't matter - they come through much better than the Sony phones. Great choice for a value-priced headphone set that still makes what you listen to sound better.

I've had these headphones for two years and the sound quality has remained wonderful. I'm not an audiophile but for the average music fan these work great. They cancel out a lot of noise and are extremely comfortable. I've always had a problem with wired headphones breaking after a few months, especially ones in this price range, but as I said one pair of these has lasted me two full years without any sign of degradation. I've taken them on multiple trips, including international ones, and stuffed them in suitcases and backpacks countless times but the wires have remained strong. The only sign of age is that in the past couple weeks the ear pads have been showing a couple small cracks. These headphones are great for anyone who wants quality that will last.

Looking for a budget friendly pair of headphones and don't care of wireless technology and ant to remain friends with your wallet? Well then your search has finished. I collect headphones since listening to music all day seems to be a requirement for my lungs to breath, o I can say I have try a lot of headphones through the years, and this headphones get it just right in a lot of ways. There is not such a thing as the "perfect pair of headphones", you should always keep this in mind if you are planing on going crazy with the headphones shopping or if you are just in the hunt for a new pair. Being this said, if your main interest is finding a well sounding-budget-friendly-headphones, this is juts for you. This are monitor headphones, so they are kinda meant or target for an audience working in music studios, which means that sound is very well balanced, bass is not overwhelming at all and I must say is not too strong either, but the overall sound of this headphones is just as clear as it can be! You will not find another pair of headphones this well balance and build for the price. Build quality on this things is pretty amazing too. My hands have never felt a so solid $40 pair of headphones before, my eyes have not seen this beautiful build on any other headphones in this price range, it's just beautiful. Being that said, they are not very stylish but don't have an ugly design either. They are mostly made of hard plastic (very durable feel plastic, like, very very durable feel; Like Fisher's price little baby's car type of feel) with the exception of the adjusters which are made of metal. The fit is very comfortable and they provide just a great sound isolation. They don't get hot or hurt your ears after long listening sessions (I use them 9hrs a day on an average, never had a problem with them) and sound isolation provides almost a sound cancellation quality as the one provided by my Sennheiser PXC 550s. Things to keep in mind: Sound quality is pretty flat, if you are into a more vibrant and bassy sound experience, I suggest checking the M40X instead or the M50X, Cord is not detachable, and this is pretty much the only I don't like from this headphones. Being able to detach the cable adds more convenience to the product, since this makes your headphones a little more durable, since they are easier to take care of and also make it easier to travel. In the headphones defense, the cord is super high quality, probably the best quality I've seen in a wired headphone before. However, since this headphones are meant for in studio listening, the cord is also super long, so if you are planing on using this headphones outside your PC set up or outside your house, you should really take this in consideration. VERDICT: If you want some very high quality budget friendly headphones, this is just the pair you need. This headphones are very well made, sound quality is clear and well balanced (lacking some bass :( ) and they are very suitable for long periods of use. If you want a more vibrant and bass heavy sound, but remain in budget, check the M40X instead or the M50X. And if you still want to remain on this price range, but need more bass for the price, check Skullcandy headphones, they have a lot of budget friendly and stylish headphones and most of them have a rich and powerful bass, though keep in mind their build quality is not the best and sound signature is not as balance as Audio Technica or Sennheiser.

These are the first pair of higher-end headphones I ever got. I got these about 4 years ago. They've gotten a little beat up over time, but they still work pretty well. I just had a few issues with them: -For some reason, the cable started just falling out of the headphone jack on my phone. My new headphones don't do that, so I'm assuming it was a problem with the headphones. It was very annoying. -They are very tight on the ears. If I wore them for too long, my ears would start to hurt from being squished. -The cable is NINE FEET LONG. It's the DUMBEST thing. It gets caught on absolutely everything, and there's no way to switch it out for a shorter cable. So so dumb idk why they did that. In the end I switched to Bluetooth Audio-Tecnhnicas because they fit my lifestyle better, but these ones still work and overall are very durable. I keep these around to bring to the arcade and conventions and stuff. Definitely recommend these if you want some nicer headphones but don't want to spend $200.

These headphones are relatively inexpensive and work well. I wanted a pair that went over the ear, rather than just pressing onto the ear, and these are great. They also feature a single input cable rather than a split "Y" cable (with one cable going to each ear). The cable is rather long (must be 12 feet, at least) but I keep some of it coiled up. Very satisfied, overall.

One of the best sounding earphones I have ever used, and I do a lot of music and am pretty picky about sound. But they are not the best fitting. I have a slightly larger than average head and ears, and the "around the ears" pads squeeze the circumference of my ears ever so slightly. But if your ears are kinda average sized, you probably can't do much better than these at anywhere near the price. The sound is not exactly flat, but the whole frequency range is there and very "even" across the entire range. The midrange is very distinct and there is no mega-bass idiocy going on at all. Even with my slightly cramped ears these are very pleasant to listen to for extended periods, which is really not the case with my most "accurate" headphones.
