The chair is easy to open and adjust to your preference
I ordered this chair for taking to a few annual outdoor events. I got tied of taking a chair and a separate sun shelter out to the event, so I decided to try these chairs by Sportbrella that already has a sun umbrella attached. The chair comes in a carrying bag with a strap, typical of collapsible sports chairs. At 10 pounds, this chair is heavy compared to most chairs I've owned. Not so heavy that it is hard to carry, but is a little heavier than other chairs. The chair is easy to open and adjust to your preference, and closes up with just a few simple buttons. The umbrella is very adjustable for moving it to the right or left side, angle tilt adjustment and also rotates. If you don’t want to use the unrelated, it can be simply removed. The umbrella itself is not centered, in that the center hub of the umbrella is not in the center, but off to the side, which is nice so you can adjust the umbrella to cover your body, as opposed to having half the umbrella hanging over empty space next to the chair. The umbrella is rated for UPF 50 and water-proof for those unexpected showers. The chair also has a very comfortable footrest. The footrest is adjustable if you are taller or shorter, or completely removable. Some other of the chair features include a mesh pocket on the left arm to hold a bottle. There is also a zippered pocket on the left which can hold a wallet, keys, phone, etc. and it has a rubber port so you can put your phone in the pocket but run your earphone wires through the port. There is another zippered storage pocket at the edge of the chair. It is large enough to hold several small items, and includes a metal bottle opener. On the right arm is an insulated pocket, with a zippered/top. It also has a velcro closure on the top. The insulated pocket can hold a beverage bottle/can or food items. The chair also reclines, with a total of three different positions for ultimate comfort and viewing. The material is a nice weight canvas type material, with a metallic undercoating, and is rated for 250 pounds. So far, I love my new chair and the convenience of having the umbrella already attached to my chair to keep my fair skin from sun damage without having to carry both a chair and separate umbrella.

Amazing and comfortable!
Here's a few things I like and dislike about this chair. I still gave it 5 stars even though there are a couple of dislikes. I'm 5'10" and about 215lbs and the chair fits me perfectly with room to grow (up or out)... Likes: Foot rest is adjustable in height Foot rest is removable if you just want a normal camping chair Umbrella is removable Umbrella can be mounted on either side of chair Lots of storage! An insulated right pocket can easily fit 2 cans and an ice pack. Front pocket between legs is about the size of a small pencil case for storing things other than pencils. Also has a bottle opener on the front pocket! Left arm rest includes a cup holder Left arm rest includes a pocket for your mobile device large enough to fit a Galaxy S7 Edge and includes a hole to pass ear buds through if you want to zip your device in the pocket. Reclines to two additional positions (3 position total). Carrying case easily fits chair and accessories so you don't have struggle when packing it up. Sturdy and stable, and bars don't dig into thighs like other camping chairs. Dislikes: There should be another oversized cup holder on the other arm rest. Umbrella only seems to adjust front to back, it could be difficult to block sun if it was coming at you from the side as it doesn't bend left to right, only front to back. But the shade itself can be rotated which helps. 7/6/16 CON update: The shade/umbrella is very flimsy in the wind. It doesn't take much wind at all to shake the shade violently. I would be concerned that shade could break very easily. Especially where it attaches to the chair. So if you're planning on using this at the beach, hope that it's not a windy day... Honestly, that is it. This is a great camping chair and makes people jealous for sure. I am an RV'er and in my 30's and absolutely love this chair.

Best chair I have bought so far
Two summers ago I bought a Rio fold up back pack chair. I thought the reviews about it not closing were from a handful of unlucky people. . . I seem to one of these people now and cannot close it. . . . So no chair at the pool 😥 Fast forward to this year, I wasnt going to be fooled again and looked for a telescopic folding chair that also had an umbrella to cover my fair skin. I waited a bit before buying it but shouldn't hsve. This is a great chair. Its a but heavy but that means it's well made and wont just fall apart. I have taken it to the pool 3 times now with no issues. Its actually a big chair in terms of zeat size, with the foot rest it makes a long chair but at the pool it doesn't matter. The armrest on the right has a small cooler pocket, perfect for my water bottle, on the left is a mesh cupholder and a zipper pocket. There is even a beer bottle opener that hangs belong the seat with another zip pocket. The umbrella is sturdy and easy to use. The whole thing is easy to use. You can tilt the seat back a bit too. It would be awesome if it laid flat, maybe another version. . . . I know some reviewers had trouble with quality but so far so good. The only thing that is a bit off is the armrest on the right is higher than the one on the left so your arms are not at the same height but I don't care.

Footrest - not only is it comfortable it is great for getting your feet off the ...
I have used this chair exclusively since my 2 boys started travel baseball. It is fabulous. In 6 years i have had 2 of these chairs. I bought my second one just because the first one was worn looking NOT because it broke. Everything about it works perfectly. Footrest - not only is it comfortable it is great for getting your feet off the ground when ants are crawling around Umbrella- you do have to be gentle and learn how to maneuver it but once you master it you will be the envy of everyone else baking in the sun. The only thing better is when my husband and I are able to go to a game together and he brings the big 10 x 10 canopy. But when I'm by myself this makes it possible for me to sit in the hot sun all day. The ability to change the angle makes this chair far superior to the chairs that have the umbrella you can't adjust. I know those umbrellas on those chairs do look more stable and they are but what good are they when the sun moves and you can't move your umbrella. Cooler- i bring a large cooler so i usually use the cooler for items like sunscreen etc Drink holder - don't realize how important one is until u have to sit your drink in the ground Take good care of this chair and it will take good care of you

Expect a lot of compliments.
This is my favorite travel lounge chair to date. I keep it in the trunk of my car so that I have it ready to go for any impulsive trips to the park. It's like any other lounge chair you've ever sat on, but with a foot rest, a UV blocking umbrella that can manipulated into whatever angle you need to block the sun, and can even be adjusted to allow you to lay back. And should that not be enough, it even comes with a bottle opener, which I think I actually ended up using once when I went to a church gathering and we were encouraged to bring our own chairs. I was a little nervous because there were some negative reviews on amazon about the quality of it and it breaking. Knowing that it's Amazon and I can always return it if that turned out to be the case, I took the risk. I don't know what to say about that except that I haven't had any problems myself. I'm physically fit and I'm not super hard on it (meaning I don't throw myself down on it like one might do on a couch), so maybe it doesn't hold up as well if you're super heavy or if you treat it roughly. That being said, I don't go out of my way to use it gingerly either, so don't feel like you have to baby it for it to last. It looks great, it works great, and expect to get a lot of compliments if you use it around people. This is a great chair.

Absolutely AWESOME Chair!!!
***UPDATE*** 9/19/16 After 3 months of use I encountered my first issue. On a somewhat windy day on the soccer field a gust of wind came and snapped one of the spines loose under the umbrella. I emailed the company and they responded promptly asking me for a picture and the receipt. Not unreasonable but I didn't get to it right away, but I was very happily surprised when they proactively called me to follow up. They were very helpful and have sent me a replacement under warranty. Very impressive. Going forward I'll keep the umbrella down on windy days. A fairly minor annoyance given all the good thing about this chair, although I do wish they'd make the umbrella more sturdy in the future. Still 5 stars from me for a great overall product and just as great customer service. BTW I also bought their Sport-Brella XL umbrella and it is also a very impressive and thoughtfully designed product. This chair is exactly what it looks like in the picture. And the good news is that it's very well built and works perfectly. I've now used it at several kids sporting events, and without fail someone approaches me to ask about it and to get the link. One guy was so impressed he actually ordered it right there on the field. The chair itself is comfortable and sturdy, and the footrest likewise works well and makes life much more comfy during long games. Now for the really great part...the umbrella. It's getting hot here now, and being able to create some shade when the sun is beating down for hours is a game changer. The umbrella pivots and turns in so many different ways it's always possible to block the sun from my head and upper body, although it's not really big enough to cover my legs and feet. But that's ok. It can even be moved to either side of the chair depending on what side the sun is on. During a long soccer tournament last weekend I watched others bake under the hot sun while I sat in shady comfort. Priceless. As an added bonus, despite all its parts the chair folds up very easily, and when it's packed up in its bag it's not much bigger or heavier than a normal folding chair. Amazing. I would not be without this chair ever again, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The only minor, and I do mean minor, issue is that it takes a little care to get the chair into its bag. The bag itself is a nice size and the chair fits in it better than other chairs I've owned, but due to all the parts the drawstring can fairly easily get stuck in one of the many joints preventing the bag from completely covering the chair. Not a big deal, and I found that by keeping the drawstring on the opposite side of the umbrella when loading largely avoids this issue. In any event, it's a small price to pay for all of the many benefits this chair offers. I'm thinking this would also make a great gift for anyone who spends long periods of time sitting outside. The only thing I'm not sure about is how the umbrella would hold up at the beach since I haven't tried that yet. It's designed and built well and held up fine in a good breeze on the soccer field, but I don't know if it could handle stronger gusts that can pop up at the beach. I'd bring a beach umbrella just in case. Further bonuses are the chair actually reclines in two lower positions (although not flat), it has its own bottle opener, a cooler that can hold a few drinks, a good amount of storage, and a smaller pouch on the armrest that can fit a large smart phone and actually has pass through built into it for headphones. About the only thing they didn't add to this chair that I'd like to have is a head pillow, but given everything else I feel bad even bringing that up. If you're even thinking about buying this chair, just do it. You won't regret it.

Buy this! I’d give it six stars if I could!
I’m in LOVE with this chair! I have back and hip issues so I wanted something that was more comfortable. I use these chairs a lot during the summer. It’s perfect! It leans back, you can adjust the foot rest, and I didnt feel like I was going to break it. I’m a plus size girl so it’s always been a fear of mine. All I had to do was pull it out of the bag and done! I love that both the foot rest and umbrella detach if you’re not using them. The foot rest is pretty sturdy. And it was easy to fold back up.

Second purchase, great chair
My son plays a lot of city sports and this has been perfect for the long days and nights on the sidelines. It is comfy for long hours sitting and keeps me from getting sunburned. I had my fist chair for 3 years before it broke (to be honest, I pushed the weight limits all those years) and immediately went to rebut another one. The leg rest part buckles in and out so you can remove it to make climbing onto the chair easier if you have short legs or limited mobility (my husband does so, but my legs are longer so I do not). I've never used the under seat pocket or bottle opener but they might be perfect for someone else. I have found that my larger water cups do not fit in the cup holders, so I set them down in the little mini Cooper on the right armrest instead. The umbrella switches to the left or right sides easily (I kept the one from my old chair so now I have one on each side!) Overall, the best chair we've had of this type.

A Portable, Versatile,Comfortable Chair for any Occasion.
I purchased this chair for my adult daughter for Christmas, 2017. After opening the box it came in, she eagerly sat down in the chair. We were both pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this chair actually is. It is our opinion that the diagram doesn't adequately convey this aspect of the chair. The foot rest was perfect, as was the umbrella. There are places to put hot and cold drinks. My daughter loves the navy blue color. So, while she hasn't gone anywhere with the chair yet; still, we both think this chair is the perfect chair. In fact, it was so comfortable that my daughter felt like going to sleep in it. The chair was easy to fold up and to put in its own cloth, carrying bag. I am planning to buy this chair in the future, for other members of my family.

Cheaply made not worth the cost
Well I like the idea of this chair. Great idea and concept but the quality needs to be worked on. It was delivered Sept 16 and I have used it twice and already it has broke. I am way under the weight limit by about 100 lbs. I keep the chair in its carrying case. The pole has come right through the foot rest. The umbrella has holes... It has only been opened once. This chair is not cheap in price but the quality is. Update.. Sent the company an email from the warranty card and it came back to sender. Update** the company got in touch with me and they sent me a brand new chair. I didn't have to pay shipping or anything. They covered the warranty just like it says and took care of everything.
