This Sensor worked to solve my shifting problem on my 2005 Rancher. I could only shift gears when the motor was just turned on, and then only once. Solved the problem, 2 very easy screws to replace, easy to access at lower rear end of ATV. Found video online showing how to replace and it took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. I would recommend this to anyone that is having a shifting sensor problem and is considering doing this repair yourself. Don't take your ATV to a dealer and pay hundreds of dollars to replace this, do it yourself at home, it's easy and it works.

Fixed my 2011 420 shifting problems. Wouldn't shift, showed a - in the shift position indicator and wouldn't respond. No code. Had to get it freed up with the Manual shift tool even though it rolled as if in neutral. Sensor is located in the back of Engine next to the drive shaft. Attached with Allen head screws.

I e has to replace this part several times due to the bike not shifting with the electric shift . ( it’s. Poor design and hind should have recall these bikes ) but this part will fix the problem

Product was accurately advertised. Helpful tip, this part does not come with a replacement O-ring that provides the seal between the casing of the rear crank case and the actual sensor housing. You will have to order that separately.
