I bought it for crepes and I love it. I've already made several batches of perfect crepes. It's heavy but it's not a problem for me yet. I can't use normal nonstick pans because they're bad for birds. If you don't have birds or other reasons to avoid it, get a nonstick crepe pan because they are light and easy to use. Or get one of these. You can't really go wrong with cast iron. I have a Dutch oven that has been in my family for 4 generations. It lasts forever.

We just received a new gas range, and it has an oval burner in the middle. The burner is about 4 inches by 9 inches. We wanted a small griddle that would fit over that one burner. We weren't looking for a "2 burner" griddle. The dimensions of this griddle seemed to be about right. It just arrived and it is perfect for that middle burner. It is just what we were looking for.

I bought this griddle to use on my small 2 burner RV stove that measures 13 by 6 and this fits perfectly atop. As an added bonus I discovered that it also fits perfectly on my 5 burner gas stove, the burner sits right smack dab in the middle of this griddle. Last night I used it at home to grill a rib eye. Awesome. Glad I bought it. Currently re-seasoning it with Flaxseed Oil for a non-stick finish.

Perfect. This cast iron griddle makes indoor grilling great. Most days I want to grill steak or veggies or burgers, I can do it in my home. Doesn't give off much smoke so my home isn't loud with smoke alarms, and its easy to wash. I just let it soak in hot water after it cools on the stove top and the food washes right off. A little light scrubbing here and there but this griddle is really worth it. I love it!

I love this comal griddle. I wanted a flat edged comal and they are really out of my price range. Then I saw this one, it is great quality cast iron and comes seasoned with flax oil. I have used it for pita bread and pancakes and will be making flour tortillas today.

I created a pan as a friend's present (she has it and loves it). I like Lodge pans, but the finish on this pan is superior. I always grind new cast iron pans smooth, then re-season with flaxseed oil (light coat, up side down in oven at 400 degrees for 90 minutes). This pan has fewer flaws than Lodge (check the photos, zero pitting), so to me, worth the extra $5. Bought the second pan for ME! Love it for middle burner. Once again, I ground it down and re-seasoned. Great results.

Bought this cast iron griddle to go on the center burner of my stove. It fits perfect, and I can still use the other burners. No, it will not fit across two burners. I'm not sure why something measuring the same as what the description states is cause for a bad review. Also, I saw someone give it a bad review after they put it in the dishwasher and it rusted. 😂 Don't put cast iron in the dishwasher!

beautiful design! I use mine as a super high quality heat diffuser for my beloved terracotta tagine. I heat it slowly to begin with and have had no crack problems. I put a very thin layer of grape seed oil on each time, and it is now black in color and fully seasoned. It can also be used to make Indian breads (chapati, roti, paratha etc). The elegant lines are similar to a much smaller Japanese pan I has paid $70 for, which is also gorgeous.

Beautifully made heavy piece just as expected. Factory seasoning is a great advantage even if it is getting sticky after a while. I bought bamboo pot scrubber to clean it without damaging the surface and learned how to season it when needed. Lovely piece of my kitchen!

Love this griddle! We got a new Frigidaire Professional 5-burner gas range a little over a year ago, and all the griddles on the market were really big... if you wanted to cook something else on another burner while using the griddle, that wasn't an option. I searched high and low looking for one just the perfect size for that middle oblong burner, but also let you cook elsewhere on the range at the same time. The only caveat is that it doesn't cook as much food at one time, but that wasn't the bigger priority for me. As far as the cooking quality of it, it's really great. heats VERY nicely and evenly... makes the most gorgeous grilled cheeses ever. It comes pre-seasoned, so no need to go through all that. I also use it with the smaller gas range in my 5th wheel coach, and it works great there as well. The smaller size of this griddle is a great match for use in an RV.
