I like my TEKTON Hex Key Wrench set. There is a good selection of metric and fractional sizes. I've not torture tested them but they seem to have a solid feel to them, and they appear to be of good quality. The plastic case is nice too. They snap in and the positions are labeled so if you have several out you don't need to guess where to store them. Of course, they're all different lengths so that helps in usage and storage as well. They hold quite well in a closed case, unless I bang it against my hand with some force, they stayed in their places. I wasn't agressively testing, I only wanted to see if they'd likely scatter from normal bouncing when carrying the case around. I've used them, they fit and work well. I'd recommend this product.

This is a fantastic allen wrench set. The only complaint I have is a minor one: one wrench on each side has trouble staying in its spot, mainly because the case takes a bit of force to close and probably snaps it out of place. But this has to have virtually every size of allen wrench you'll ever need in either a home-repair or auto-repair situation.

The seller was GRPerks. I paid about 16 bucks including shipping. I had 2 old folding hex sets, but they were only SAE/inches and they only had 8-9 wrenches per set (and most of the sizes were the same between the two of them). I wanted a set that had both SAE and metric, and a set that had most sizes...at a reasonable price. This set fits the bill. The quality is good too. So far, I have used the 2mm wrench to successfully remove a nut that was way too tight. I had to put quite a bit of pressure on the 2mm wrench, but thankfully it did not bend. It also fit the nut perfectly. The other wrenches appear to be shaped/cut well too. The case is heavy duty and very handy; the wrenches stay in their slots. I am pleased with my purchase. And because there is a good selection of sizes for both SAE and metric, I don't think I'll need to buy another hex set! I'll give my old hex sets to my local charity.

I have over a hundred Allen wrenches in my toolboxes, but I did not have the 0.035 wrench that I needed. My choice was to buy this complete set, with a few other sizes I don;t have (or have ever needed), or pay about half the price for ONE 0.035" wrench. Well, now I have over 130 wrenches. Some of the smaller wrenches do not stay clipped in the box and some of the real small ones that do stay seem prone to bending when they're removed. I don't think there is any practical way to solve this, at least in this price range, but be aware that most of the time you open up the kit, there will be loose, small, Allen wrenches floating around and headed for the garage floor. Otherwise, it's a nice kit and even at the small sizes, the wrenches fit Allen bolts well. It's a nice kit.

I work on guitars, and many times, there are small screws that require very small, or less common allen key sizes. I found and ordered this set, since I'm a fan of Tekton tools, and it has just about every size allen key I could ever need. I found that between the Imperial and Metric wrenches, there is always one that's exactly the right size for what I'm trying to do. The set is very nice, and the wrenches themselves feel very sturdy, even the tiny ones. The case is also very nice, and holds all the keys in place nicely, and keeps them organized. All in all, a very nice hex key set.

With the possible exception of a highly specialized (large) size, this set provides just about every hex wrench option one might desire at a very good price. One should keep in mind that it's a 'standard' hex set, not a refined set, such as available from Wera at a much higher price. However, if one only requires a hex key once in a great while, this set will do for most casual users. If you want a more resilient set with possiblyh a ball-type end, they I'd suggest looking at the Wera, as this set may disappoint.

I got this kit because I lost my allen wrench for this little picatinny rail pistol laser i bought off amazon and lowes didn't have an allen wrench that small. When i got the Tekton Hex Key kit i was surprised by the weight of it, I wasn't expecting it to be as heavy as it was. When I opened it up I was able to see why it was as heavy as it was. They give you basically any size you'll ever need! there are ones smaller than a tooth pick, I have no idea what they're used for but they're included. they also have huge ones that are nearly a half inch size in diameter. The case that these come in is sturdy and made out of tough plastic. the wrenches come in two styles, long handled and short handled and they are both clearly labeled with their measurements. All in all this hex key set will pay for itself in time, it's the only set you'll need as I cant imagine what you'd need bigger or smaller sizes for. The only downsides to the set is the way the wrenches are secured in the case. the case has these little notches carved out in 3 places for each wrench. you supposed to push down on the wrench to make them pop into the notches to secure them. The issues I have is the notches widen after a while and no longer securely hold the wrenches and after a while they wont even pop when you push the wrenched into the notches, the wrenches will just fall into place loosley. But I didn't buy this set for the case i bought them for the wrenches and they work great so I cant complain too much. I'm happy with the purchase and I'm sure i'll use them for a long time.

This is a complete set of Allen wrenches. It includes some very tiny ones that I don't know if I will ever get to use but just knowing that I have them makes me feel covered for any job. If you notice the case has a little hole at the back from which u can hang the set on your peg board, which is a nice feature. The larger wrenches have their size stamped on them but the small ones don't. It really doesn't bother me but just don't get them mixed up cause you will probably need a caliper to measure them and put them back in their respective place on the case. I'm happy with my set. Tekton products are great. Buy with confidence.

Lots of pieces here, hopefully more than you’ll ever need. They arrived intact. Only about 3 or 4 pieces were loose in the case when arrived, kind of expected with tools like this. Inside the case the hex keys snap in place, and see pictures to notice size marked on the bottom in black and white, and then again on the red plastic. I really like the set. It is of course a bit disturbing to know that people are sadistic enough to make such small hex keys at 0.7mm and just as disturbing that people make items that you might need a set like this for in the first place. As an FYI maybe the sets at hardware stores, either local specialty or big box, typically do not carry sets below 1.5mm at best. Almost just bought some small pieces or small piece sets instead of this, but for a little more this was worth the price difference. Based on visual inspection not under magnification, the smallest pieces appear very decent.

I had a nice set of hex keys but when I moved they seemed to vanish or I just can't remember where I put them! Either way, I needed a new set. I looked on several hardware store sites and Amazon. I didn't need some fancy expensive set as I use them mostly for putting furniture together and adjusting my headboard. These are surprisingly nice for what I paid at the time (I think it's up a dollar or two now). As other reviewers have stated some of the really thin ones (0.028in & 0.7mm) are slightly misshapen but for how extremely thin they are it's understandable which is why I didn't take a star off. Mainly because I doubt I would ever be using them anyway. Also, the case has a hole to hang it on the wall which I didn't even pay attention to in the listing pictures. I probably should hang it so I don't lose this set! Overall, they are perfect for what I need them for and am very happy with my purchase.
