Great for Reflux

I'm always trying to find this on sale. My insurance no longer covers proton pump inhibitors because they are available over the counter. I get horrible reflux due to a Hiatal hernia . These are hands-down the best I've tried, and I've tried them all.

I've been taking Nexium since before it was OTC. It has been and still is the most effective medication I take for my frequent heartburn. Although I take 1 capsule approximately every 3 days, it works for me and always has.

I am big supporter of Nexium. I had two weeks of bad heartburn. It eliminated the problem.

Stomach acid reducer

I love that this product has three bottles. My husband needs to take this medicine almost daily. This provides us just enough for over a month's supply. Also this medicine really helps his stomach acid reduction.

If you suffer from GURD and Acid reflux, by all means try this.

I suffer from GURD and Acid reflux and have had difficulty swallowing. After taking these pills one a day of this product I no longer have that problem.

Nexium is OTC finally!

There are not many things that happen in life that make me literally stop in my tracks.. it just doesn't happen that often. However last week at the grocery store it happened. I had run in to grab a couple of things really quick and as I was walking out I saw a BIG yellow sign with purple writing.. I just glanced at it for a moment and then it happened. I stopped dead in my tracks, looked back at the sign and couldn't believe what I was reading "NEXIUM24 OTC!" You see, I was diagnosed with GERD 19 years ago. At first I was taking prescription Prilosec which was good. It typically gave enough relief to get through the days and nights... but on occasion I would have to double up the dose to make it through a full day. After I told my doctor about the doubling up (which became more frequent) he switched me to Nexium and my life literally changed. I had full, 24 hour relief for the most part (unless I ate something I knew I shouldn't like citrus or something spicy). A couple years went by and I changed jobs.. and insurance carriers. My new insurance didn't cover Nexium.. not even on a step program. So it was back to Prilosec.. which was adequate.. just not great. My doctors tried some other 'new' treatments like Zantac (terrible for me), Protonix (ok, but not great) and finally Zegrid OTC but of all those options Prilosec worked best.. but it still wasn't full relief. So I have been living on Prilosec all these years... all the time hoping the day would come when I could get Nexium back.. and there it was! Standing in that grocery store last week and looking at the sign "NEXIUM24 OTC!" it finally registered. IT'S HERE! And I quickly walked back to the pharmacy, found the Nexium display, grabbed a box and took it to the pharmacist. "Is there ANY difference between this and the prescription?" - "Aside from the dosage, no!" I grabbed my phone out of my pocket, looked it up on Amazon and ordered it while still standing in the store. (Why I didn't just buy it there? I don't know!) Anyway.. my Nexium24 finally arrived and I could not be happier! In 19 years this is the only medication that has given me what I would call full relief from my GERD. And the price? OMG! Affordable Nexium? This is awesome for somebody like me :)

Tiny little pills that really work - and very easy to swallow

I'm so glad I received a sample of these teeny little pills. So easy to swallow - even without water. Lately I'm under a lot of stress and we had to put down our 15 1/2 year old dog this past week, so I've been upset on top of the stress. I've been able to eat or drink anything I want (lots of fattening and heavy comfort foods which can really cause heartburn) with absolutely no heart burn which is highly unusual for me. Even when I accidentally miss a day, so I think it works longer than 24 hours. Nexium 24HR ClearMinis are working better for me than any other over the counter or prescription antacid I've ever tried, and I've tried at least ten brands. I definitely would recommend this to friends and family members who suffer from frequent moderate to severe heartburn. One little tiny pill every 24 hours and it really works.

Had bleeding stomach, could not keep food down, doctor recommended nexium 24 hour, I take two pills twice per day until my next endoscopy, nexium allows me to eat most foods, even some spicey foods and keep food down. The hard part is trying to find it for a reasonable price bc my Medicare advantage plan insurance won't pay for it. i spend about $60.00 per month buying through Amazon, verses closer to 80.00 per month, shopping big box stores. thank you amazon, my dream is nexium, will get cheaper to buy or Medicare will pay for it. It's expensive chunk out of my fixed income but My body has to have this medicine so I can eat food and keep it down! It's the only medicine that has worked for me!

I was on Prilosec previously and had a lot of bad side effects- dizziness, stomach upset, headaches, and so on. GI doc suggested I try nexium instead, and this has worked marvelously for me. I occasionally get a mild headache, but usually that’s in tandem with another headache trigger (allergies, for example). I took it once a day for a 28 day course to heal my esophagus from a long gerd attack, and now I’m tapering down to every other day and will eventually aim for once or twice a week as the permanent maintenance dose.

Cannot go without my Nexium!

Like many of us, I've had indigestion most of my adult life - I've tried everything, but Nexium is the only product that day in and day out holds my indigestion at bay. I particularly like the capsules - for some reason they just work better than the tablets - try the "Little Purple Pill" and you won't go back!
