Pros: I wanted to make sure I was getting markers I could trust not to dry quickly and not stain my whiteboard calendar. Also, I needed the fine tips so I could fit in what I needed to writw in the boxes of the calender. These markers provided all of that and Amazon was the cheapest place I could find them. Cons: As pictured, the colors green and orange do not show up as darker as the other colors do which is slightly disappointing due to the fact I wanted to color code my calendar with all the available colors but it was a minor disappointment. Would I purchase again at this price? Surely.

Great Markers - love the Ultra Fine tip

Perfect for my Classical Conversations Community during our Essentials class - I got the ultra fine tips so that while using the dry erase boards, my students wouldn't take up a huge amount of space writing. They write well and last a long time.

Buy these ULTRA FINE dry erase markers! Provides actual 1mm writing tip!

I was frustrated that the "fine" tip versions of marker were too thick and didn't allow for much information to be written down clearly. I am so happy to have found the ULTRA FINE tipped version with a firmer tip, that may hold up to daily use. Fine tipped version would frustratingly get flattened and smushed and then write too thickly. These ULTRA FINE pens are so much better than the "fine" to fit in small spaces. I measured the ULTRA FINE writing lines to be about 1mm wide. And the "fine" pens are easily 2mm+ depending on if the tip of pen is in new condition or smushed from too much writing pressure. All pens were functioning and not "dry." We have used them for a 2-3 weeks now. These pens arrived on time and are awesome to use. We are a busy family (cub scouts, soccer, other school events) with 2 sets of the DREAM PLAY magnetic calendar. (found on amazon). This allows for 8 weeks of events that can be written down at once and the old week gets moved to the end to be used for future events!! These pens allow each activity to be clearly listed. Colors are all vibrant and dark enough to read. The green, pink and orange are medium saturation. Black, brown, blue, purple and red are the darkest & easily read with good contrast. You could assign each person a color if you wanted. Inks are easily wiped off with paper towel and maybe occasional use of white board cleaner.

COULDN'T LOVE THESE MORE!!!

Love LOVE Love. These are ULTRA fine. They are perfect for using on a calendar or in small places. They are a little thicker than a regular pen, more like a felt tip pen. These are the finest pens EXPO makes. I am a HUGE dry erase user and these are by far the best tip I have used. Note: If you allow your children to use your coveted expo markers and they apply additional pressure to the tip when writing, the tip will expand a bit and be more like the regular fine tip expo. I find that the regular fine tip is better for my kids and the ultra fine is better for adults who know their strength :)

My whiteboard feels 100x larger!

These are incredible. I never knew dry erase markers could be so fine. I rewrote a to-do list that took up about 5 square feet from a chisel marker in 5 square inches with these! Will probably get a mid-sized one too.

Perfect for my whiteboard calendar

I bought these ultra-fine tip dry erase markers to go with the whiteboard calendar I just got. The marker that came with that board has a broad point and I can’t fully utilize all the lines that are available for each calendar day. With this pack of assorted colors I can now coordinate our family’s hectic schedules, our bills, and our family time. I keep them in a little bucket on top of the fridge for easy access and so that my kids don’t mess with my calendar. The ink does wipe off easily, even after it’s been dry for several days. The markers themselves are truly low-odor (I don’t smell anything when I’m writing with them). The ink colors are bold and visible. I’m very happy with this purchase. I purchased these dry erase markers at full price.

These markers make it so easy to write in small boxes on a white board!

I just ordered a dry erase white board with a calendar and I was looking for ultra fine point dry erase markers to go along with this white board. I found these ultra fine point markets and decided to give them a try. So glad I did! These markers came exactly as described. There are 8 great colors and they are definitely ultra fine point. As I mentioned I wanted dry erase markets that had a super fine tip so that I could write in the boxes of my calendar white board. These did exactly that. They write almost as small as a ball point pen so I was able to get a lot of information in each square of my calendar white board. I did not notice any smell or odor from these markers. I also love that they come in 8 different colors. This makes planning out a calendar so easy as you can have each task or type of event in a certain color. They also erase perfectly. There is no left over trace of the marker like I have experienced with other dry erase markers that smudge and do not fully erase. Overall, I would absolutely recommend these markers for anyone that is looking to write in a small space on a white board. Great price and quality makes it a great value!

Great variety of standard and fun bright colors - impossible to find this size in retail stores

I am thrilled that Expo brand makes ultra-fine point tipped dry erase pens now in a variety of colors. I need the ulta fine point size for keeping track of lots of data on white boards, and the regular sized chisel tip pens are just too thick. Usually in retail stores I can only fine the chisel tip size, sometimes the thin tip sizes, but even of those, they're usually in the same standard colors of black, red, and blue. This multi pack gives you a great variety of 8 different colors, including fun colors such as pink and purple. The pens write well, with no streaking or starts and stops of color. They have no odor, like some other dry erase pens. I have purchased various brands of dry erase pens over the years, hoping to save some money, but always come back to Expo because they're the best quality. I am very happy I can buy the variety packs for a great price on Amazon.

Great dry erase markers!!

These pens work perfectly on my dry erase calendar! I needed the fine print so I could fit everything in the little calendar squares. Pink is my faveorite color of course!! But all the colors are great and rich! I'm thrilled with these pens and will be buying again when needed!

VERY fine point, great for up-close writing but too fine for classroom use

Markers have a VERY fine point that is too skinny for classroom/presentation use. When scribbling on a whiteboard for up-close or personal use, these are perfect. Then again I'm the kind of person that likes to use those nifty 0.38mm ballpoint pens...
