A shed? A tent? Kinda sorta both, but really just for bikes or other small things.
15 minutes to set up, the most awkward part is securing the top hole to something - a small stepladder is really needed for the reach required. No stars off though as this thing is very sturdy, survived some very strong winds in NC last week and is waterproof. Plenty of room for two bikes, two hooks inside to hang helmets, ventilation flap on the front to allow it to dry out from wet cycles, hole in the back allows a chain or other lock to be attached to something firm. Takes two adult mountain bikes with ease. Not sure how it would perform in very heavy snow, but certainly fine for us living out of the snowbelt.

Crushed under snow
It seems like 12 inches of snow is too much snow. The roof buckled in. It was great until this... Perhaps better for states south of Virginia. ***EDIT*** They are honoring their warranty, and sending me a new one! All I had to do was contact them directly through their site. Great customer service!

Great Design! And Great Customer Service!
I bought two of these in January of 2016 and placed them on the shady side of the house. Yesterday I was putting the bikes away like I have done many times before and suddenly the handlebar busted through the side! At first I thought it was me having shoved a sharp edge or something into it but upon closer inspection, I noticed the fabric was rotted out. If you've ever seen a sun bleached convertible top that you can just push a hole into, you know what I'm talking about. I have emailed Yardstash about the issue and will report back. For now, three stars because I don't know what's going to happen. I will say that the design of the Yardstash is great but at the price, it should last way longer than two years. UPDATE: Yardstash responded with lightning quickness. They offered an excellent remedy for the situation and I am very happy. This great solution to a common problem has a great company backing it up. One piece of advice: if you live in a high UV bombardment area like South Florida, Arizona or Texas go for the Yardstash IV which is way more resistant to sun damage. Another thing to note.. my Yardstash III stood up to last year’s hurricane without a scratch. To be clear, we didn’t get the brunt of it, more like a strong tropical storm, but when properly anchored, they can take the punishment.

Better than described
It's even better than described. Heavy and sturdy fabric well stitched and well braced. Good water protection on the roof. Some reviews mention that the fiberglass poles hurt their hands, but I had no problem. I did get a splinter from my plywood underlayment... I set mine up on a 3' x 7' piece of 3/8" plywood. The plywood is on an outdoor mat that happened to be available. Ground cover below that is gravel. Then I got four 2x3 sheets of Brock/Sakrete Interlocking Paver Base Panel. Found them at Lowe's and HD. $12 a panel. Not cheap, but both stores sell them one sheet at a time, rather than that they be purchased in bulk. I put two panels end-to-end under the tent floor and two on top of the tent floor. Like a sandwich. These panels have grooves for any water flow and holes for drainage. They weigh about the same as styrofoam, but they are much stronger and coated with something. Anyway, I like them. On the plywood, I put D-rings at the corners and zip tied the convenient eyelets at the corners of the tent to the D-rings. I used a strip of velcro to tie to that little tieback attached to middle back wall and hold it to an awning clamp on the side of my RV. Very stable. My bike is a 20" Schwinn Loop, but I've added a largish basket to the back rack and a longish mirror to the end of one handlebar. It fits fine. I stand the bike in the tent using the single bike version of Amazon's http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00849P2M0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have room for a narrow little table in the back that holds my bag of equipment and lube and supplies. The two hooks on the inside back wall of the tent are handy for helmet and tire pump. One thing I noticed is that when the YardStash was in the sun for maybe an hour, it got quite warm and stuffy inside. Those little air vents will be important. It's so handy not to have to make room to store the bike in the shed or in the car or outside.

Not for use over a long term - but GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE - updated after two years
July 20, 2015: I ordered this 4 months ago. It was great until today. I went outside and there was a huge rip in it. I have two bicycles in it with a bicycle stand. We had a storm. Not a big storm mind you...a little storm. No straight line winds, no hurricane force gales, just a summer storm. In fact, the bicycle that I have on my porch and the canvas folding lawn chair were not even moved by this storm....not one inch. And yet, my $100 investment is now useless. I DO NOT recommend this for long term storage. Maybe to store a couple of bikes at a camp site while you are camping, to put up and take down and store, but not for use long term...definitely. EDIT: July 31, 2015 - So after making my one star review, I read some of the other one star reviews and someone suggested that the company had a warranty. I contacted the company via email and they were EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE. I sent them pictures of the tear in my YardStash and not only did they send me a new one, but they also made recommendations for installation so that the tear does not happen again. When I installed, I guess I did not pull the corners taut enough. I have just received my NEW REPLACEMENT YardStash which I will install today - pulling taut the corners as recommended. We'll see how it holds up. I will try to post another review in a few months regarding the on going wear and tear. EDIT: April 24, 2017 - so the new shed they sent is still doing great. I haven't noticed the leaks that some other people have. I live in Memphis and this shed is on the west side of the house so it gets some pretty heavy sun and wind. I am now going to buy a NEW shed to store my garden tools. These are a lot cheaper than the Rubbermaid versions and seem to hold up quite well. They are also pretty low profile so my homeowners association hasn't said anything (but when people put in the Rubbermaid versions without approval - they get a letter)

Best Solution On The Market For Outside Bike Storage
Probably the best outdoor storage solution for bicycles on the market today. The reason being both the easy of use, the design, and the pricing. You literally cannot beat the feature/function vs price for this solution. Rigid storage units (if you can even find one that will take multiple bicycles) are going to cost you 2-4 times as much money. Material and workmanship quality are outstanding. This will last for years in outdoor weather of all types. It was easy to assemble and set in place. The assembly directions were a little vague in a couple places, but there are literally so few parts to deal with it was not a real issue to figure it out. Note this product has cross supports on the sides (midway up) and across the top. However, it has no supports at the bottom and so you will want to anchor it either at the bottom using the supplied ground spikes, or you can use screws on the bottom into drilled concrete. You can also anchor it about waist high to a wall or other fixed structure using screws appropriate for what you are attaching it to. Personally, I used the ground spikes as well as two anchor screws at the back at waist level (through the supplied grommet holes), and it is solid and will not be swayed or moved by wind. It actually holds three full sized bicycles IF you store them by alternating the facing of the handle bars as you put them into storage. In other words, bike 1 faces handles to the left, bike 2 to the right and bike 3 back to the left again.

Great deal, holds up in the wind & keeps bikes dry !
I was skeptical about this working but have lots of bikes so i bought it. I am very happy with it. I put two cruiser bikes in it & they stay nice & dry. It has a little flap that you can flip up & down for ventillation whuch I like. I thought it would blow pver in high winds but it doesn't because there are tent pegs which hold it down plus (4), plus there are additional little flaps up higher that you can put lines on also so I have a couple of high gauge fishing lines on those also. We had 45 mph winds today with rain & it stayed up fine & stayed dry inside. Also, the top is slanted so the rain runs of it. i have a little zipper lock through all 3 zippers on the bottom to deter thieves & a chain around the 2 bikes on the inside. The zippers work great & its easy to get the bikes in & out. I have it right next (about 4 inches) to a storage shed on some ground where I dont care if the grass dies.

I'm very pleased with our purchase
I'm very pleased with our purchase. Excellent product. This is a great solution for storing items outside for the winter. We are renting a house for about 2-3 years before we decide where we want to be permanently. There is no shed or garage but only an overhang. We have many lawn tools such as a mower, tiller, leaf blower, etc and now have those items stored in our new YardStash away from the backdoor (which has the only overhang). I got it because winter was coming. We are in NC - and yes - it does get cold and wintry (down to the 20'sF) and we get ice and icy snow. Well made with quality materials and design. This newest version has 'a lip' on the bottom entryway that folds down flat - helping especially for our storage items. The top has reinforced materials to withstand greater weather stress. It was 'easy' to assemble. (This is not a 1 minute pop-up tent.) The instructions were clear and high-quality materials were used. it took 2 people to assemble because someone had to hold the material/product upright and straight while inserting the rods...but, if i had to, I could do by myself if the product was laying on its back. (this is far better quality and mobility than the plastic cabinet solutions that we've used previously for other yard/garden items) We have it up flush against a fence in the yard. we staked it in the ground. there is a grommet for bolting the tent to the fence. Since we are renting and this is a new fence...I was a little hesitant, but will do if needed. It's mid-November has been up for about 2 months and is looking great and has a clean profile. I'm pleased with the # of things it holds. Because of what we're storing, we're not using the vertical space much. Maybe for next year, we'll get a plastic tool rack to stand up in the tent to hang thing from. Thank you YardStash

Great product I just got a lemon returning for replacement.
This is a great product I had one for three years and had no issues at all until the roof Started to leak. I purchased a new one and it leaked on the first rain. When I was disassembling the bike tent the zipper broke so I am returning for replacement. The replacement arrived and I had same issue it leaked again. I went inside to see if I could see light coming in and sure enough the roof has a hole in it. I need to call customer service. I need the #. It’s really a hassle to take down and return again I am afraid amazon will black ball me.

Very awesome, needs 1 more thing for Yarstash 4 (for apt dwellers)
So this actually exceeded my expectations. I live in California and wanted an outdoor option for storing hockey equipment. The material is great, assembly took 5 minutes. I'd say my only issue is that because I have this out on a deck (I live in an apt) and not on the ground, securing it can be a bit tough. And as the bottom isn't secured by pegs, it's not quite as structurally sound. (with pegs it would be fine). 1 more set of support cross rods at the very bottom I think would alleviate the issue. Anyway, awesome storage option. So far I love it. Venting is key. I've recommended this to a lot of people.
